Hariprasad Shenai e85c9a7abf cxgb4/cxgb4vf: Add code to calculate T5 BAR2 Offsets for SGE Queue Registers
Add new Common Code facilities for calculating T5 BAR2 Offsets for SGE Queue
Registers. This new code can handle situations where

Queues Per Page * SGE BAR2 Queue Register Area Size > Page Size

Hariprasad Shenai e0a8b34a9c cxgb4vf: Add and initialize some sge params for VF driver
Add sge_vf_eq_qpp and sge_vf_iq_qpp to (struct sge_params), initialize
sge_queues_per_page and sge_vf_qpp in t4vf_get_sge_params(), add new
t4vf_prep_adapter() which initializes basic adapter parameters.

Grab both SGE_EGRESS_QUEUES_PER_PAGE_VF and SGE_INGRESS_QUEUES_PER_PAGE_VF
for VF Drivers since we need both to calculate the User Doorbell area
offsets for Egress and Ingress Queues.

sge.c was overlapping two changes, one to use the new

ixgbe_phy.c was a set of overlapping whitespace changes.

Hariprasad Shenai e2ac962895 cxgb4: Cleanup macros so they follow the same style and look consistent, part 2
Various patches have ended up changing the style of the symbolic macros/register
defines to different style.

As a result, the current kernel.org files are a mix of different macro styles.
Since this macro/register defines is used by different drivers a
few patch series have ended up adding duplicate macro/register define entries
with different styles. This makes these register define/macro files a complete
mess and we want to make them clean and consistent. This patch cleans up a part
of it.

Vipul Pandya 94dace1014 cxgb4vf: Support CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATEs encapsulated in a CPL_FW4_MSG
Newer firmware can post CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATE message encapsulated in a

So FW4_MSG CPLs with a newly created type of FW_TYPE_RSSCPL have the
CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATE CPL message in flit 2 of the FW4_MSG. Firmware can still
post regular CPL_SGE_EGR_UPDATE messages, so the drivers need to handle

Linus Torvalds e777d192ff SCSI misc on 20121212
This patch set includes two large new drivers: mpt3sas (for the next gen
fusion SAS hardware) and csiostor a FCoE offload driver for the Chelsio
converged network cards (this includes some net changes which I've OK'd with
 DaveM).

The rest of the patch is driver updates (qla2xxx, lpfc, hptiop, be2iscsi) plus
a few assorted updates and bug fixes.

We also have a Power Management rework in the Upper Layer Drivers preparatory
to doing ACPI zero power optical devices, but the actual enabler is still
 being worked on.

Mel Gorman 0614002bb5 netvm: propagate page->pfmemalloc from skb_alloc_page to skb
The skb->pfmemalloc flag gets set to true iff during the slab allocation
of data in __alloc_skb that the the PFMEMALLOC reserves were used. If
page splitting is used, it is possible that pages will be allocated from
the PFMEMALLOC reserve without propagating this information to the skb.
This patch propagates page->pfmemalloc from pages allocated for fragments
to the skb.

It works by reintroducing and expanding the skb_alloc_page() API to take
an skb. If the page was allocated from pfmemalloc reserves, it is
automatically copied. If the driver allocates the page before the skb, it
should call skb_propagate_pfmemalloc() after the skb is allocated to
ensure the flag is copied properly.

Failure to do so is not critical. The resulting driver may perform slower
if it is used for swap-over-NBD or swap-over-NFS but it should not result
in failure.
