Driver does only clock request + enable for DDR clocks. DDR clocks are
enabled by bootloader and need to stay that way in Linux. To avoid having
these clocks disabled by clock subsystem in case there are no Linux
consumers for them the clocks were marked as critical in clock drivers
(in commit 68b3b6f177 ("clk: at91: mark ddr clocks as critical")).
With this, there is no need to have a separate driver that only does
clock request + enable.

The Texas Instruments OMAP General Purpose Memory Controller (GPMC) is
only present on TI OMAP2/3/4/5, Keystone, AM33xx, AM43x, DRA7xx, TI81xx,
and K3 SoCs. Hence add a dependency on ARCH_OMAP2PLUS || ARCH_KEYSTONE
|| ARCH_K3, to prevent asking the user about this driver when
configuring a kernel without OMAP2+, Keystone, or K3 SoC family support.

Allow OMAP_GPMC to be built as a module.
When building this driver as a module, the symbol
'of_default_bus_match_table' will not be found as it is not being
exported.
The of_match_node() call is redundant anyways as
of_platform_default_populate() already takes care of matching with
'of_default_bus_match_table'. So get rid of that call. This will also
resolve the module build failure.
Move compatible match table to the end where it is usually expected.

So far for armv7 TI platforms, GPMC was being selected by
arch/arm/mach-* architecture Kconfig files.
For K3 platforms, GPMC is no longer required for basic boot and cannot
be always enabled by default by mach- Kconfig.
We need a way for user (or board defconfig) to enable it if required so
make OMAP_GPMC Kconfig option always visible.
Drop COMPILE_TEST as build fails if IRQ_DOMAIN is not enabled.

Here is the large set of char/misc/whatever driver subsystem updates for
5.12-rc1. Over time it seems like this tree is collecting more and more
tiny driver subsystems in one place, making it easier for those
maintainers, which is why this is getting larger.
Included in here are:
- coresight driver updates
- habannalabs driver updates
- virtual acrn driver addition (proper acks from the x86
maintainers)
- broadcom misc driver addition
- speakup driver updates
- soundwire driver updates
- fpga driver updates
- amba driver updates
- mei driver updates
- vfio driver updates
- greybus driver updates
- nvmeem driver updates
- phy driver updates
- mhi driver updates
- interconnect driver udpates
- fsl-mc bus driver updates
- random driver fix
- some small misc driver updates (rtsx, pvpanic, etc.)
All of these have been in linux-next for a while, with the only reported
issue being a merge conflict in include/linux/mod_devicetable.h that you
will hit in your tree due to the dfl_device_id addition from the fpga
subsystem in here. The resolution should be simple.

This driver is for the EMIF private feature implemented under FPGA
Device Feature List (DFL) framework. It is used to expose memory
interface status information as well as memory clearing control.
The purpose of memory clearing block is to zero out all private memory
when FPGA is to be reprogrammed. This gives users a reliable method to
prevent potential data leakage.

A fairly quiet release for SPI, nothing really going on in the core
although there's been quite a bit of driver related activity. This pull
request includes the addition of some shared code in drivers/memory for
the Renesas RPC-IF which is used by a newly added SPI driver, the memory
subsystem doesn't seem to have a fixed maintainer at the minute and this
seemed like the most sensible way to get that hardware supported.
- Quite a few cleanups and optimizations for the Altera, Qualcomm GENI,
sun6i and lantiq drivers.
- Several more GPIO descriptor conversions.
- Move the Cadence QuadSPI driver from drivers/mtd to drivers/spi.
- New support for Mediatek MT8192 and Renesas RPC-IF, R8A7742 and

Add the memory driver for Renesas RPC-IF which registers either SPI or
HyperFLash device depending on the contents of the device tree subnode.
It also provides the absract "back end" device APIs that can be used by

Baikal-T1 SoC provides a way to tune the MIPS P5600 CM2 L2-cache
performance up. It can be done by changing the L2-RAM Data/Tag/WS
latencies in a dedicated register exposed by the system controller.
The driver added by this commit provides a dts properties-based and
sysfs-based interface for it. The device DT node is supposed to be a
child of Baikal-T1 System Controller node.

Tegra30+ has some minor differences in registers / bits layout compared
to Tegra20. Let's squash Tegra20 driver into the common tegra-mc driver
in a preparation for the upcoming MC hot reset controls implementation,
avoiding code duplication.
Note that this currently doesn't report the value of MC_GART_ERROR_REQ
because it is located within the GART register area and cannot be safely
accessed from the MC driver (this happens to work only by accident). The
proper solution is to integrate the GART driver with the MC driver, much
like is done for the Tegra SMMU, but that is an invasive change and will
be part of a separate patch series.

Certain SoCs like Texas Instruments AM335x and AM437x require parts
of the EMIF PM code to run late in the suspend sequence from SRAM,
such as saving and restoring the EMIF context and placing the memory
into self-refresh.
One requirement for these SoCs to suspend and enter its lowest power
mode, called DeepSleep0, is that the PER power domain must be shut off.
Because the EMIF (DDR Controller) resides within this power domain, it
will lose context during a suspend operation, so we must save it so we
can restore once we resume. However, we cannot execute this code from
external memory, as it is not available at this point, so the code must
be executed late in the suspend path from SRAM.
This patch introduces a ti-emif-sram driver that includes several
functions written in ARM ASM that are relocatable so the PM SRAM
code can use them. It also allocates a region of writable SRAM to
be used by the code running in the executable region of SRAM to save
and restore the EMIF context. It can export a table containing the
absolute addresses of the available PM functions so that other SRAM
code can branch to them. This code is required for suspend/resume on
AM335x and AM437x to work.
In addition to this, to be able to share data structures between C and
the ti-emif-sram-pm assembly code, we can automatically generate all of
the C struct member offsets and sizes as macros by processing
emif-asm-offsets.c into assembly code and then extracting the relevant
data as is done for the generated platform asm-offsets.h files.

New helpers/macros have been to atmel-smc.h introduced to simplify SMC
regs manipulation. Rework the code to use those helpers, and simplify
the ->xlate_config(), ->get_config() and ->apply_config() implementations.
SMC configs are now stored in a struct atmel_smc_cs_conf object that
directly contains registers values, which should help implementing
->suspend()/->resume() hooks.
We can also get rid of those regmap fields (and the associated ->init()
hook) which are not longer needed thanks to the
atmel_[h]smc_cs_conf_{apply,get}() helpers.

The EBI (External Bus Interface) is used to access external peripherals
(NOR, SRAM, NAND, and other specific devices like ethernet controllers).
Each device is assigned a CS line and an address range and can have its
own configuration (timings, access mode, bus width, ...).
This driver provides a generic DT binding to configure a device according
to its requirements.
For specific device controllers (like the NAND one) the SMC timings

Merge tag 'for-linus-20160523' of git://git.infradead.org/linux-mtd
Pull MTD updates from Brian Norris:
"First cycle with Boris as NAND maintainer! Many (most) bullets stolen
from him.
Generic:
- Migrated NAND LED trigger to be a generic MTD trigger
NAND:
- Introduction of the "ECC algorithm" concept, to avoid overloading
the ECC mode field too much more
- Replaced the nand_ecclayout infrastructure with something a little
more flexible (finally!) and future proof
- Rework of the OMAP GPMC and NAND drivers; the TI folks pulled some
of this into their own tree as well
- Prepare the sunxi NAND driver to receive DMA support
- Handle bitflips in erased pages on GPMI revisions that do not
support this in hardware.
SPI NOR:
- Start using the spi_flash_read() API for SPI drivers that support
it (i.e., SPI drivers with special memory-mapped flash modes)
And other small scattered improvments"

OMAPs can have 2 to 4 WAITPINs that can be used as general purpose
input if not used for memory wait state insertion.
The first user will be the OMAP NAND chip to get the NAND
read/busy status using gpiolib.

Commit 63aa945b10 ("memory: omap-gpmc: Add Kconfig option for debug")
added a debug option for GPMC, but somehow managed to keep it unselectable.
This probably happened because I had some uncommitted changes and the
GPMC option is selected in the platform specific Kconfig.
Let's also update the description a bit, it does not mention that
enabling the debug option also disables the reset of GPMC controller
during the init as pointed out by Uwe Kleine-König
<u.kleine-koenig@pengutronix.de> and Roger Quadros <rogerq@ti.com>.

This driver makes it possible to configure the static memory
chip selects on the ARM PL172 MultiPort Memory Controller
from a set of properties in DT. Configuration of dynamic
memory is not supported and is left to the boot loader.
The intended usage is to setup timing and configuration for
static memory devices like NAND and NOR Flash before they
are probed by a driver.

We support decoding the bootloader values if DEBUG is defined.
But we also need to change the struct omap_hwmod flags to have
HWMOD_INIT_NO_RESET to avoid the GPMC being reset during the
boot. Otherwise just the default timings will be displayed
instead of the bootloader configured timings.
This also allows us to clean up the various GPMC related
hwmod flags. For debugging, we only need HWMOD_INIT_NO_RESET,
and HWMOD_INIT_NO_IDLE is not needed.
