RISC-V: Use common riscv_cpuid_to_hartid_mask() for both SMP=y and SMP=n
Use what is currently the SMP=y version of riscv_cpuid_to_hartid_mask()
for both SMP=y and SMP=n to fix a build failure with KVM=m and SMP=n due
to boot_cpu_hartid not being exported.  This also fixes a second bug
where the SMP=n version assumes the sole CPU in the system is in the
incoming mask, which may not hold true in kvm_riscv_vcpu_sbi_ecall() if
the KVM guest VM has multiple vCPUs (on a SMP=n system).

Add two THP helpers required to create PMD migration swap entries,
and enable THP migration via ARCH_ENABLE_THP_MIGRATION. This can
reduce time of THP migration without splitting and guarantee the
migrated pages are still contiguous.

riscv/mm: Adjust PAGE_PROT_NONE to comply with THP semantics
This is a preparation for enabling THP migration.
As the commit b65399f6111b("arm64/mm: Change THP helpers
to comply with generic MM semantics") mentioned, pmd_present()
and pmd_trans_huge() are expected to behave in the following
manner:

At present the PROT_NONE bit reuses the READ bit could not comply with
above semantics with two problems:
1. When splitting a PMD THP, PMD is first invalidated with
pmdp_invalidate()->pmd_mkinvalid(), which clears the PRESENT bit
and PROT_NONE bit/READ bit, if the PMD is read-only, then the PAGE_LEAF
property is also cleared, which results in pmd_present() return false.
2. When migrating, the swap entry only clear the PRESENT bit
and PROT_NONE bit/READ bit, the W/X bit may be set, so _PAGE_LEAF may be
true which results in pmd_present() return true.

Solution:
Adjust PROT_NONE bit from READ to GLOBAL bit can satisfy the above rules:
1. GLOBAL bit has no other meanings, not like the R/W/X bit, which is
also relative with _PAGE_LEAF property.
2. GLOBAL bit is at bit 5, making swap entry start from bit 6, bit 0-5
are zero, which means the PRESENT, PROT_NONE, and PAGE_LEAF are
all false, then the pmd_present() and pmd_trans_huge() return false when
in migration/swap.

Anup Patel a457fd5660 RISC-V: KVM: Add VM capability to allow userspace get GPA bits
The number of GPA bits supported for a RISC-V Guest/VM is based on the
MMU mode used by the G-stage translation. The KVM RISC-V will detect and
use the best possible MMU mode for the G-stage in kvm_arch_init().

We add a generic VM capability KVM_CAP_VM_GPA_BITS which can be used by
the KVM userspace to get the number of GPA (guest physical address) bits
supported for a Guest/VM.

Atish Patra 3e1d86569c RISC-V: KVM: Add SBI HSM extension in KVM
SBI HSM extension allows OS to start/stop harts any time. It also allows
ordered booting of harts instead of random booting.

Implement SBI HSM exntesion and designate the vcpu 0 as the boot vcpu id.
All other non-zero non-booting vcpus should be brought up by the OS
implementing HSM extension. If the guest OS doesn't implement HSM
extension, only single vcpu will be available to OS.

Atish Patra a046c2d857 RISC-V: KVM: Reorganize SBI code by moving SBI v0.1 to its own file
With SBI v0.2, there may be more SBI extensions in future. It makes more
sense to group related extensions in separate files. Guest kernel will
choose appropriate SBI version dynamically.

Move the existing implementation to a separate file so that it can be
removed in future without much conflict.

Sean Christopherson cc4f602bc4 KVM: RISC-V: Use common KVM implementation of MMU memory caches
Use common KVM's implementation of the MMU memory caches, which for all
intents and purposes is semantically identical to RISC-V's version, the
only difference being that the common implementation will fall back to an
atomic allocation if there's a KVM bug that triggers a cache underflow.

RISC-V appears to have based its MMU code on arm64 before the conversion
to the common caches in commit c1a33aebe9 ("KVM: arm64: Use common KVM
implementation of MMU memory caches"), despite having also copy-pasted
the definition of KVM_ARCH_NR_OBJS_PER_MEMORY_CACHE in kvm_types.h.

Opportunistically drop the superfluous wrapper
kvm_riscv_stage2_flush_cache(), whose name is very, very confusing as
"cache flush" in the context of MMU code almost always refers to flushing
hardware caches, not freeing unused software objects.

No functional change intended.

riscv: Make vmalloc/vmemmap end equal to the start of the next region
We used to define VMALLOC_END equal to the start of the next region
*minus one* which is inconsistent with the use of this define in the
core code (for example, see the definitions of VMALLOC_TOTAL and
is_vmalloc_addr).

And then make the definition of VMEMMAP_END consistent with VMALLOC_END
and all other regions actually.

uaccess handler"), do similar to riscv to add a dedicated uaccess
exception handler to update registers in exception context and
subsequently return back into the function which faulted, so we remove
the need for fixups specialized to each faulting instruction.

riscv: switch to relative exception tables
Similar as other architectures such as arm64, x86 and so on, use
offsets relative to the exception table entry values rather than
absolute addresses for both the exception locationand the fixup.

However, RISCV label difference will actually produce two relocations,
a pair of R_RISCV_ADD32 and R_RISCV_SUB32. Take below simple code for
example:

The modpost will complain the R_RISCV_SUB32 relocation, so we need to
patch modpost.c to skip this relocation for .rela__ex_table section.

After this patch, the __ex_table section size of defconfig vmlinux is
reduced from 7072 Bytes to 3536 Bytes.

Commit 8633ef82f1 ("drivers/firmware: consolidate EFI framebuffer setup
for all arches") made the Generic System Framebuffers (sysfb) driver able
to be built on non-x86 architectures.

But it left the efifb_setup_from_dmi() function prototype declaration in
the architecture specific headers. This could lead to the following

Sebastian Andrzej Siewior 77993b595a locking: Allow to include asm/spinlock_types.h from linux/spinlock_types_raw.h
The printk header file includes ratelimit_types.h for its __ratelimit()
based usage. It is required for the static initializer used in
printk_ratelimited(). It uses a raw_spinlock_t and includes the
spinlock_types.h.

PREEMPT_RT substitutes spinlock_t with a rtmutex based implementation and so
its spinlock_t implmentation (provided by spinlock_rt.h) includes rtmutex.h and
atomic.h which leads to recursive includes where defines are missing.

By including only the raw_spinlock_t defines it avoids the atomic.h
related includes at this stage.

The generic fallback is not included, atomics itself are not used. If
kernel.h does not include printk.h then it comes later from the bug.h

Anup Patel 7c8de080d4 RISC-V: KVM: Fix GPA passed to __kvm_riscv_hfence_gvma_xyz() functions
The parameter passed to HFENCE.GVMA instruction in rs1 register
is guest physical address right shifted by 2 (i.e. divided by 4).

Unfortunately, we overlooked the semantics of rs1 registers for
HFENCE.GVMA instruction and never right shifted guest physical
address by 2. This issue did not manifest for hypervisors till
now because:
  1) Currently, only __kvm_riscv_hfence_gvma_all() and SBI
     HFENCE calls are used to invalidate TLB.
  2) All H-extension implementations (such as QEMU, Spike,
     Rocket Core FPGA, etc) that we tried till now were
     conservatively flushing everything upon any HFENCE.GVMA
     instruction.

This patch fixes GPA passed to __kvm_riscv_hfence_gvma_vmid_gpa()
and __kvm_riscv_hfence_gvma_gpa() functions.

Currently there's a limit of 8MB for the .text section of a RISC-V
image in the XIP case. This breaks compilation of many automatic
builds and is generally inconvenient. This patch removes that

Atish Patra dea8ee31a0 RISC-V: KVM: Add SBI v0.1 support
The KVM host kernel is running in HS-mode needs so we need to handle
the SBI calls coming from guest kernel running in VS-mode.

This patch adds SBI v0.1 support in KVM RISC-V. Almost all SBI v0.1
calls are implemented in KVM kernel module except GETCHAR and PUTCHART
calls which are forwarded to user space because these calls cannot be
implemented in kernel space. In future, when we implement SBI v0.2 for
Guest, we will forward SBI v0.2 experimental and vendor extension calls
to user space.

This patch adds floating point (F and D extension) context save/restore
for guest VCPUs. The FP context is saved and restored lazily only when
kernel enter/exits the in-kernel run loop and not during the KVM world

Atish Patra 3a9f66cb25 RISC-V: KVM: Add timer functionality
The RISC-V hypervisor specification doesn't have any virtual timer
feature.

Due to this, the guest VCPU timer will be programmed via SBI calls.
The host will use a separate hrtimer event for each guest VCPU to
provide timer functionality. We inject a virtual timer interrupt to
the guest VCPU whenever the guest VCPU hrtimer event expires.

This patch adds guest VCPU timer implementation along with ONE_REG
interface to access VCPU timer state from user space.

2. Uses atomic number to track VMID version and increments

Anup Patel 9f70132651 RISC-V: KVM: Handle MMIO exits for VCPU
We will get stage2 page faults whenever Guest/VM access SW emulated
MMIO device or unmapped Guest RAM.

This patch implements MMIO read/write emulation by extracting MMIO
details from the trapped load/store instruction and forwarding the
MMIO read/write to user-space. The actual MMIO emulation will happen
in user-space and KVM kernel module will only take care of register
updates before resuming the trapped VCPU.

The handling for stage2 page faults for unmapped Guest RAM will be
implemeted by a separate patch later.

Anup Patel 92ad82002c RISC-V: KVM: Implement KVM_GET_ONE_REG/KVM_SET_ONE_REG ioctls
For KVM RISC-V, we use KVM_GET_ONE_REG/KVM_SET_ONE_REG ioctls to access
VCPU config and registers from user-space.

We have three types of VCPU registers:
1. CONFIG - these are VCPU config and capabilities
2. CORE   - these are VCPU general purpose registers
3. CSR    - these are VCPU control and status registers

The CONFIG register available to user-space is ISA. The ISA register is
a read and write register where user-space can only write the desired
VCPU ISA capabilities before running the VCPU.

The CORE registers available to user-space are PC, RA, SP, GP, TP, A0-A7,
T0-T6, S0-S11 and MODE. Most of these are RISC-V general registers except
PC and MODE. The PC register represents program counter whereas the MODE
register represent VCPU privilege mode (i.e. S/U-mode).

The CSRs available to user-space are SSTATUS, SIE, STVEC, SSCRATCH, SEPC,
SCAUSE, STVAL, SIP, and SATP. All of these are read/write registers.

In future, more VCPU register types will be added (such as FP) for the
KVM_GET_ONE_REG/KVM_SET_ONE_REG ioctls.

This patch implements VCPU interrupts and requests which are both
asynchronous events.

The VCPU interrupts can be set/unset using KVM_INTERRUPT ioctl from
user-space. In future, the in-kernel IRQCHIP emulation will use
kvm_riscv_vcpu_set_interrupt() and kvm_riscv_vcpu_unset_interrupt()
functions to set/unset VCPU interrupts.

Important VCPU requests implemented by this patch are:
KVM_REQ_SLEEP       - set whenever VCPU itself goes to sleep state
KVM_REQ_VCPU_RESET  - set whenever VCPU reset is requested

The WFI trap-n-emulate (added later) will use KVM_REQ_SLEEP request
and kvm_riscv_vcpu_has_interrupt() function.

The KVM_REQ_VCPU_RESET request will be used by SBI emulation (added
later) to power-up a VCPU in power-off state. The user-space can use
the GET_MPSTATE/SET_MPSTATE ioctls to get/set power state of a VCPU.

The asm/vdso.h will be included in vdso.lds.S in the next patch, the
following cleanup is needed to avoid syntax error:

 1.the declaration of sys_riscv_flush_icache() is moved into asm/syscall.h.
 2.the definition of struct vdso_data is moved into kernel/vdso.c.
 2.the definition of VDSO_SYMBOL is placed under "#ifndef __ASSEMBLY__".

Also remove the redundant linux/types.h include.

riscv: explicitly use symbol offsets for VDSO
The current implementation of the `__rt_sigaction` reference computed an
absolute offset relative to the mapped base of the VDSO.  While this can
be handled in the medlow model, the medany model cannot handle this as
it is meant to be position independent.  The current implementation
relied on the BFD linker relaxing the PC-relative relocation into an
absolute relocation as it was a near-zero address allowing it to be
referenced relative to `zero`.

We now extract the offsets and create a generated header allowing the
build with LLVM and lld to succeed as we no longer depend on the linker
rewriting address references near zero.  This change was largely
modelled after the ARM64 target which does something similar.

riscv: fix the global name pfn_base confliction error
RISCV uses a global variable pfn_base for page/pfn translation. But this
is a common name and will be used elsewhere. In those cases, the
page-pfn macros which refer to this name will be referred to the
local/input variable instead. (such as in vfio_pin_pages_remote). This
make everything wrong.

This patch changes the name from pfn_base to riscv_pfn_base to fix
this problem.

va_kernel_pa_offset was only used for 64-bit as the kernel mapping lies
in the linear mapping for 32-bit kernel and then only the offset between
the PAGE_OFFSET and the kernel load address is needed.

But this distinction complexifies the code with #ifdefs and especially
with a separate definition of the address conversions macros.

Simplify the code by defining this variable for both 32-bit and 64-bit.

riscv: Get rid of CONFIG_PHYS_RAM_BASE in kernel physical address conversion
The usage of CONFIG_PHYS_RAM_BASE for all kernel types was a mistake:
this value is implementation-specific and this breaks the genericity of
the RISC-V kernel.

Fix this by introducing a new variable phys_ram_base that holds this
value at runtime and use it in the kernel physical address conversion
macro. Since this value is used only for XIP kernels, evaluate it only if
CONFIG_XIP_KERNEL is set which in addition optimizes this macro for
standard kernels at compile-time.

Javier Martinez Canillas 8633ef82f1 drivers/firmware: consolidate EFI framebuffer setup for all arches
The register_gop_device() function registers an "efi-framebuffer" platform
device to match against the efifb driver, to have an early framebuffer for
EFI platforms.

But there is already support to do exactly the same by the Generic System
Framebuffers (sysfb) driver. This used to be only for X86 but it has been
moved to drivers/firmware and could be reused by other architectures.

Also, besides supporting registering an "efi-framebuffer", this driver can
register a "simple-framebuffer" allowing to use the siple{fb,drm} drivers
on non-X86 EFI platforms. For example, on aarch64 these drivers can only
be used with DT and doesn't have code to register a "simple-frambuffer"
platform device when booting with EFI.

For these reasons, let's remove the register_gop_device() duplicated code
and instead move the platform specific logic that's there to sysfb driver.

riscv: add VMAP_STACK overflow detection
This patch adds stack overflow detection to riscv, usable when
CONFIG_VMAP_STACK=y.

Overflow is detected in kernel exception entry(kernel/entry.S), if the
kernel stack is overflow and been detected, the overflow handler is
invoked on a per-cpu overflow stack. This approach preserves GPRs and
the original exception information.

The overflow detect is performed before any attempt is made to access
the stack and the principle of stack overflow detection: kernel stacks
are aligned to double their size, enabling overflow to be detected with
a single bit test. For example, a 16K stack is aligned to 32K, ensuring
that bit 14 of the SP must be zero. On an overflow (or underflow), this
bit is flipped. Thus, overflow (of less than the size of the stack) can
be detected by testing whether this bit is set.

This gives us a useful error message on stack overflow, as can be
trigger with the LKDTM overflow test:

Currently most platforms define pmd_pgtable() as pmd_page() duplicating
the same code all over.  Instead just define a default value i.e
pmd_page() for pmd_pgtable() and let platforms override when required via
<asm/pgtable.h>.  All the existing platform that override pmd_pgtable()
have been moved into their respective <asm/pgtable.h> header in order to
precede before the new generic definition.  This makes it much cleaner
with reduced code.

Anshuman Khandual fac7757e1f mm: define default value for FIRST_USER_ADDRESS
Currently most platforms define FIRST_USER_ADDRESS as 0UL duplication the
same code all over.  Instead just define a generic default value (i.e 0UL)
for FIRST_USER_ADDRESS and let the platforms override when required.  This
makes it much cleaner with reduced code.

The default FIRST_USER_ADDRESS here would be skipped in <linux/pgtable.h>
when the given platform overrides its value via <asm/pgtable.h>.

riscv: Map the kernel with correct permissions the first time
For 64-bit kernels, we map all the kernel with write and execute
permissions and afterwards remove writability from text and executability
from data.

For 32-bit kernels, the kernel mapping resides in the linear mapping, so we
map all the linear mapping as writable and executable and afterwards we
remove those properties for unused memory and kernel mapping as
described above.

Change this behavior to directly map the kernel with correct permissions
and avoid going through the whole mapping to fix the permissions.

At the same time, this fixes an issue introduced by commit 2bfc6cd81b
("riscv: Move kernel mapping outside of linear mapping") as reported
here https://github.com/starfive-tech/linux/issues/17.

riscv: Enable KFENCE for riscv64
Add architecture specific implementation details for KFENCE and enable
KFENCE for the riscv64 architecture. In particular, this implements the
required interface in <asm/kfence.h>.

KFENCE requires that attributes for pages from its memory pool can
individually be set. Therefore, force the kfence pool to be mapped at
page granularity.

Testing this patch using the testcases in kfence_test.c and all passed.

After some investigation, I think I found the root cause: commit
2bfc6cd81b ("move kernel mapping outside of linear mapping") moves
BPF JIT region after the kernel:

The &_end is unlikely aligned with PMD size, so the front bpf jit
region sits with part of kernel .data section in one PMD size mapping.
But kernel is mapped in PMD SIZE, when bpf_jit_binary_lock_ro() is
called to make the first bpf jit prog ROX, we will make part of kernel
.data section RO too, so when we write to, for example memset the
.data section, MMU will trigger a store page fault.

To fix the issue, we need to ensure the BPF JIT region is PMD size
aligned. This patch acchieve this goal by restoring the BPF JIT region
to original position, I.E the 128MB before kernel .text section. The
modification to kasan_init.c is inspired by Alexandre.

Mark Rutland 9efbb35583 locking/atomic: riscv: move to ARCH_ATOMIC
We'd like all architectures to convert to ARCH_ATOMIC, as once all
architectures are converted it will be possible to make significant
cleanups to the atomics headers, and this will make it much easier to
generically enable atomic functionality (e.g. debug logic in the
instrumented wrappers).

As a step towards that, this patch migrates riscv to ARCH_ATOMIC. The
arch code provides arch_{atomic,atomic64,xchg,cmpxchg}*(), and common
code wraps these with optional instrumentation to provide the regular
functions.

or execute bit is set. So add a macro:_PAGE_LEAF instead of

without any functional change.

riscv: Consistify protect_kernel_linear_mapping_text_rodata() use
The various uses of protect_kernel_linear_mapping_text_rodata() are
not consistent:
  - Its definition depends on "64BIT && !XIP_KERNEL",
  - Its forward declaration depends on MMU,
  - Its single caller depends on "STRICT_KERNEL_RWX && 64BIT && MMU &&
    !XIP_KERNEL".

Fix this by settling on the dependencies of the caller, which can be
simplified as STRICT_KERNEL_RWX depends on "MMU && !XIP_KERNEL".
Provide a dummy definition, as the caller is protected by
"IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_STRICT_KERNEL_RWX)" instead of "#ifdef
CONFIG_STRICT_KERNEL_RWX".

RISC-V: Always define XIP_FIXUP
XIP depends on MMU, but XIP_FIXUP is used throughout the kernel in
order to avoid excessive ifdefs.  This just makes sure to always define
XIP_FIXUP, which will fix MMU=n builds.  XIP_OFFSET is used by assembly
but XIP_FIXUP is C-only, so they're split.

RISC-V: enable XIP
Introduce XIP (eXecute In Place) support for RISC-V platforms.
It allows code to be executed directly from non-volatile storage
directly addressable by the CPU, such as QSPI NOR flash which can
be found on many RISC-V platforms. This makes way for significant
optimization of RAM footprint. The XIP kernel is not compressed
since it has to run directly from flash, so it will occupy more
space on the non-volatile storage. The physical flash address used
to link the kernel object files and for storing it has to be known
at compile time and is represented by a Kconfig option.

XIP on RISC-V will for the time being only work on MMU-enabled
kernels.

RISC-V: Add kdump support
This patch adds support for kdump, the kernel will reserve a
region for the crash kernel and jump there on panic. In order
for userspace tools (kexec-tools) to prepare the crash kernel
kexec image, we also need to expose some information on
/proc/iomem for the memory regions used by the kernel and for
the region reserved for crash kernel. Note that on userspace
the device tree is used to determine the system's memory
layout so the "System RAM" on /proc/iomem is ignored.

I tested this on riscv64 qemu and works as expected, you may
test it by triggering a crash through /proc/sysrq_trigger:

on HOTPLUG_CPU in order to be able to bring up all harts after kexec.
It also needs a recent OpenSBI version that supports the HSM extension.

riscv: Move kernel mapping outside of linear mapping
This is a preparatory patch for relocatable kernel and sv48 support.

The kernel used to be linked at PAGE_OFFSET address therefore we could use
the linear mapping for the kernel mapping. But the relocated kernel base
address will be different from PAGE_OFFSET and since in the linear mapping,
two different virtual addresses cannot point to the same physical address,
the kernel mapping needs to lie outside the linear mapping so that we don't
have to copy it at the same physical offset.

The kernel mapping is moved to the last 2GB of the address space, BPF
is now always after the kernel and modules use the 2GB memory range right
before the kernel, so BPF and modules regions do not overlap. KASLR
implementation will simply have to move the kernel in the last 2GB range
and just take care of leaving enough space for BPF.

In addition, by moving the kernel to the end of the address space, both
sv39 and sv48 kernels will be exactly the same without needing to be
relocated at runtime.

riscv: sifive: Apply errata "cip-453" patch
Add sign extension to the $badaddr before addressing the instruction page
fault and instruction access fault to workaround the issue "cip-453".

To avoid affecting the existing code sequence, this patch will creates two
trampolines to add sign extension to the $badaddr. By the "alternative"
mechanism, these two trampolines will replace the original exception
handler of instruction page fault and instruction access fault in the
excp_vect_table. In this case, only the specific SiFive CPU core jumps to
the do_page_fault and do_trap_insn_fault through these two trampolines.
Other CPUs are not affected.

riscv: Introduce alternative mechanism to apply errata solution
Introduce the "alternative" mechanism from ARM64 and x86 to apply the CPU
vendors' errata solution at runtime. The main purpose of this patch is
to provide a framework. Therefore, the implementation is quite basic for
now so that some scenarios could not use this schemei, such as patching
code to a module, relocating the patching code and heterogeneous CPU
topology.

Users could use the macro ALTERNATIVE to apply an errata to the existing
code flow. In the macro ALTERNATIVE, users need to specify the manufacturer
information(vendorid, archid, and impid) for this errata. Therefore, kernel
will know this errata is suitable for which CPU core. During the booting
procedure, kernel will select the errata required by the CPU core and then
patch it. It means that the kernel only applies the errata to the specified
CPU core. In this case, the vendor's errata does not affect each other at
runtime. The above patching procedure only occurs during the booting phase,
so we only take the overhead of the "alternative" mechanism once.

This "alternative" mechanism is enabled by default to ensure that all
required errata will be applied. However, users can disable this feature by
the Kconfig "CONFIG_RISCV_ERRATA_ALTERNATIVE".

riscv: evaluate put_user() arg before enabling user access
The <asm/uaccess.h> header has a problem with put_user(a, ptr) if
the 'a' is not a simple variable, such as a function. This can lead
to the compiler producing code as so:

1:	enable_user_access()
2:	evaluate 'a' into register 'r'
3:	put 'r' to 'ptr'
4:	disable_user_acess()

The issue is that 'a' is now being evaluated with the user memory
protections disabled. So we try and force the evaulation by assigning
'x' to __val at the start, and hoping the compiler barriers in
 enable_user_access() do the job of ordering step 2 before step 1.

This has shown up in a bug where 'a' sleeps and thus schedules out
and loses the SR_SUM flag. This isn't sufficient to fully fix, but
should reduce the window of opportunity. The first instance of this
we found is in scheudle_tail() where the code does:

Here, the task_pid_vnr(current) is called within the block that has
enabled the user memory access. This can be made worse with KASAN

We are already processing the SBI error code and coverts it to the Linux
error code.

Propagate to the error code to the caller as well. As of now, kvm is the

RISC-V: Implement ASID allocator
Currently, we do local TLB flush on every MM switch. This is very harsh on
performance because we are forcing page table walks after every MM switch.

This patch implements ASID allocator for assigning an ASID to a MM context.
The number of ASIDs are limited in HW so we create a logical entity named
CONTEXTID for assigning to MM context. The lower bits of CONTEXTID are ASID
and upper bits are VERSION number. The number of usable ASID bits supported
by HW are detected at boot-time by writing 1s to ASID bits in SATP CSR.

We allocate new CONTEXTID on first MM switch for a MM context where the
ASID is allocated from an ASID bitmap and VERSION is provide by an atomic
counter. At time of allocating new CONTEXTID, if we run out of available
ASIDs then:
1. We flush the ASID bitmap
2. Increment current VERSION atomic counter
3. Re-allocate ASID from ASID bitmap
4. Flush TLB on all CPUs
5. Try CONTEXTID re-assignment on all CPUs

Please note that we don't use ASID #0 because it is used at boot-time by
all CPUs for initial MM context. Also, newly created context is always
assigned CONTEXTID #0 (i.e. VERSION #0 and ASID #0) which is an invalid
context in our implementation.

Using above approach, we have virtually infinite CONTEXTIDs on-top-of
limited number of HW ASIDs. This approach is inspired from ASID allocator
used for Linux ARM/ARM64 but we have adapted it for RISC-V. Overall, this
ASID allocator helps us reduce rate of local TLB flushes on every CPU
thereby increasing performance.

This patch is tested on QEMU virt machine, Spike and SiFive Unleashed
board. On QEMU virt machine, we see some (3-5% approx) performance
improvement with SW emulated TLBs provided by QEMU. Unfortunately,
the ASID bits of the SATP CSR are not implemented on Spike and SiFive
Unleashed board so we don't see any change in performance. On real HW
having all ASID bits implemented, the performance gains will be much
more due improved sharing of TLB among different processes.

virt_addr_valid macro checks that a virtual address is valid, ie that
the address belongs to the linear mapping and that the corresponding
 physical page exists.

Add the missing check that ensures the virtual address belongs to the
linear mapping, otherwise __virt_to_phys, when compiled with
CONFIG_DEBUG_VIRTUAL enabled, raises a WARN that is interpreted as a
kernel bug by syzbot.

This enables the use of per-task stack canary values if GCC has
support for emitting the stack canary reference relative to the
value of tp, which holds the task struct pointer in the riscv
kernel.

After compare arm64 and x86 implementations, seems arm64's is more
flexible and readable. The key point is how gcc get the offset of
stack_canary from gs/el0_sp.

riscv: Add kprobes supported
This patch enables "kprobe & kretprobe" to work with ftrace
interface. It utilized software breakpoint as single-step
mechanism.

Some instructions which can't be single-step executed must be
simulated in kernel execution slot, such as: branch, jal, auipc,
la ...

Some instructions should be rejected for probing and we use a
blacklist to filter, such as: ecall, ebreak, ...

We use ebreak & c.ebreak to replace origin instruction and the
kprobe handler prepares an executable memory slot for out-of-line
execution with a copy of the original instruction being probed.
In execution slot we add ebreak behind original instruction to
simulate a single-setp mechanism.

The patch is based on packi's work [1] and csky's work [2].
 - The kprobes_trampoline.S is all from packi's patch
 - The single-step mechanism is new designed for riscv without hw
   single-step trap
 - The simulation codes are from csky
 - Frankly, all codes refer to other archs' implementation

Use the generic numa implementation to add NUMA support for RISC-V.
This is based on Greentime's patch[1] but modified to use generic NUMA
implementation and few more fixes.

riscv: Separate memory init from paging init
Currently, we perform some memory init functions in paging init. But,
that will be an issue for NUMA support where DT needs to be flattened
before numa initialization and memblock_present can only be called
after numa initialization.

Move memory initialization related functions to a separate function.
