This will allow Thomas to debug his irq work for 3.20.
This adds two new features:
1) Allow traceopoints to be enabled right after mm_init(). By passing
in the trace_event= kernel command line parameter, tracepoints can be
enabled at boot up. For debugging things like the initialization of
interrupts, it is needed to have tracepoints enabled very early. People
have asked about this before and this has been on my todo list. As it
can be helpful for Thomas to debug his upcoming 3.20 IRQ work, I'm
pushing this now. This way he can add tracepoints into the IRQ set up
and have users enable them when things go wrong.
2) Have the tracepoints printed via printk() (the console) when they
are triggered. If the irq code locks up or reboots the box, having the
tracepoint output go into the kernel ring buffer is useless for
debugging. But being able to add the tp_printk kernel command line
option along with the trace_event= option will have these tracepoints
printed as they occur, and that can be really useful for debugging
early lock up or reboot problems.
This code is not that intrusive and it passed all my tests. Thomas tried
them out too and it works for his needs.

The Exynos IOMMU driver uses the ARM specific dmac_flush_range() and
outer_flush_range() functions. This breaks the build on arm64 allmodconfig

dependency on ARM to keep things building until either the driver has the
ARM dependencies removed or the ARMv8 architecture code implements these
ARM specific APIs.

After d75b1ade56 (net: less interrupt
masking in NAPI) the napi instance is removed from the per-cpu list
prior to calling the n->poll(), and is only requeued if all of the
budget was used. This inadvertently broke netfront because netfront
does not use NAPI correctly.
If netfront had not used all of its budget it would do a final check
for any Rx responses and avoid calling napi_complete() if there were
more responses. It would still return under budget so it would never
be rescheduled. The final check would also not re-enable the Rx
interrupt.
Additionally, xenvif_poll() would also call napi_complete() /after/
enabling the interrupt. This resulted in a race between the
napi_complete() and the napi_schedule() in the interrupt handler. The
use of local_irq_save/restore() avoided by race iff the handler is
running on the same CPU but not if it was running on a different CPU.
Fix both of these by always calling napi_compete() if the budget was
not all used, and then calling napi_schedule() if the final checks
says there's more work.

Otherwise we get things like:
warning: (NET_DSA_BCM_SF2 && BCMGENET && SYSTEMPORT) selects FIXED_PHY which has unmet direct dependencies (NETDEVICES && PHYLIB=y)
In order to make this work we have to rename fixed.c to fixed_phy.c
because the regulator drivers already have a module named "fixed.o".

hexagon:defconfig fails to build in linux-next since commit 332fd7c4fe
("genirq: Generic chip: Change irq_reg_{readl,writel} arguments").
The primary build failure is
arch/hexagon/include/asm/cacheflush.h: In function 'copy_to_user_page':
arch/hexagon/include/asm/cacheflush.h:89:22: error: 'VM_EXEC' undeclared
This is the result of including of <linux/io.h> from <linux/irq.h>,
which is now necessary due to the use of readl and writel from irq.h.
This causes recursive inclusions in hexagon code; cacheflush.h is included
from mm.h prior to the definition of VM_EXEC.
Fix the problem by moving copy_to_user_page from the hexagon include file to
arch/hexagon/mm/cache.c, similar to other architectures. After this change,
several redefinitions of readl and writel are reported. Those are caused
by recursive inclusions of io.h and asm/cacheflush.h. Fix those problems by
reducing the number of files included from those files. Also, it was necessary
to stop including asm-generic/cacheflush.h from asm/cacheflush.h. Instead,
functionality originally provided by asm-generic/cacheflush.h is now coded
in asm/cacheflush.h directly.

So far what is in there by default is what we were using: 512KB + the
control page, but the admin may change that, and if it does to a smaller
value, all calls to tooling for non root users start failing, requiring
that the user manually set --mmap_pages/-m.
Use instead what is in /proc/sys/kernel/perf_event_mlock_kb.

When failing due to asking for a number of mmap pages that is more than
the max, it was suggesting that an even bigger number of mmap pages
should be specified, doh, au contraire!
Before:
[acme@ssdandy linux]$ trace -m 128 usleep 1
Error: Operation not permitted.
Hint: Check /proc/sys/kernel/perf_event_mlock_kb (516 kB) setting.
Hint: Tried using 516 kB.
Hint: Try using a bigger -m/--mmap-pages value.

After:
[acme@ssdandy linux]$ trace -m 128 usleep 1
Error: Operation not permitted.
Hint: Check /proc/sys/kernel/perf_event_mlock_kb (516 kB) setting.
Hint: Tried using 516 kB.
Hint: Try using a smaller -m/--mmap-pages value.
[acme@ssdandy linux]$
And to (really) clarify what happens above, when what the user requests
is <= max and even then it fails, a changeset is being made to tell that
this is a per user limit, not per process (in the above example there
was another 'perf trace' running for this user, which was using all the
pages it could use).

tun/macvtap: TUNSETIFF fixes
Dan Carpenter reported the following:
static checker warning:
drivers/net/tun.c:1694 tun_set_iff()
warn: 0x17100 is larger than 16 bits
drivers/net/tun.c
1692
1693 tun->flags = (tun->flags & ~TUN_FEATURES) |
1694 (ifr->ifr_flags & TUN_FEATURES);
1695
It's complaining because the "ifr->ifr_flags" variable is a short
(should it be unsigned?). The new define:
#define IFF_VNET_LE 0x10000
doesn't fit in two bytes. Other suspect looking code could be:
return __virtio16_to_cpu(q->flags & IFF_VNET_LE, val);
And that's true: we have run out of IFF flags in tun.
So let's not try to add more: add simple GET/SET ioctls
instead. Easy to test, leads to clear semantics.
Alternatively we'll have to revert the whole thing for 3.19,
but that seems more work as this has dependencies
in other places.
While here, I noticed that macvtap was actually reading
ifreq flags as a 32 bit field.
Fix that up as well.

ifreq flags field is only 16 bit wide, so setting IFF_VNET_LE there has
no effect:
doesn't fit in two bytes.
The tests passed apparently because they have an even number of bugs,
all cancelling out.
Luckily we didn't release a kernel with this flag, so it's
not too late to fix this.
Add TUNSETVNETLE/TUNGETVNETLE to really achieve the purpose
of IFF_VNET_LE.
This has an added benefit that if we ever want a BE flag,
we won't have to deal with weird configurations like
setting both LE and BE at the same time.
IFF_VNET_LE will be dropped in a follow-up patch.
