Christoph Hellwig 9636e650e1 fs: build the legacy direct I/O code conditionally
Add a new LEGACY_DIRECT_IO config symbol that is only selected by the
file systems that still use the legacy blockdev_direct_IO code, so that
kernels without support for those file systems don't need to build the
code.

Jan Kara eb103a5164 reiserfs: Deprecate reiserfs
Reiserfs is relatively old filesystem and its development has ceased
quite some years ago. Linux distributions moved away from it towards
other filesystems such as btrfs, xfs, or ext4. To reduce maintenance
burden on cross filesystem changes (such as new mount API, iomap, folios
...) let's add a deprecation notice when the filesystem is mounted and
schedule its removal to 2025.

Adam Borowski 91581e4c60 fs/*/Kconfig: drop links to 404-compliant http://acl.bestbits.at
This link is replicated in most filesystems' config stanzas. Referring
to an archived version of that site is pointless as it mostly deals with
patches; user documentation is available elsewhere.

Linus Torvalds b6e3224fb2 Revert "task_struct: make journal_info conditional"
This reverts commit e4c570c4cb, as
requested by Alexey:

"I think I gave a good enough arguments to not merge it.
  To iterate:
   * patch makes impossible to start using ext3 on EXT3_FS=n kernels
     without reboot.
   * this is done only for one pointer on task_struct"

None of config options which define task_struct are tristate directly
  or effectively."

Coly Li 651d062304 fs/reiserfs: return f_fsid for statfs(2)
Make reiserfs3 return f_fsid info for statfs(2). By Andreas' suggestion,
this patch populates a persistent f_fsid between boots/mounts with help of
on-disk uuid record.

Randy Dunlap reported a compiling error from v2 patch like:
    fs/built-in.o: In function `reiserfs_statfs':
    super.c:(.text+0x7332b): undefined reference to `crc32_le'
    super.c:(.text+0x7333f): undefined reference to `crc32_le'
Also he provided helpful solution to fix this error. The modification of v3
patch is based on Randy's suggestion, add 'select CRC32' in fs/reiserfs/Kconfig.
