Alexandre Belloni 44c638ce4e rtc: remove superfluous error message

is no need to have other messages in the drivers.

Stephen Boyd faac910201 rtc: Remove dev_err() usage after platform_get_irq()
We don't need dev_err() messages when platform_get_irq() fails now that
platform_get_irq() prints an error message itself when something goes
wrong. Let's remove these prints with a simple semantic patch.

// <smpl>
@@
expression ret;
struct platform_device *E;
@@

ret =
(
platform_get_irq(E, ...)
|
platform_get_irq_byname(E, ...)
);

if ( \( ret < 0 \| ret <= 0 \) )
{
(
-if (ret != -EPROBE_DEFER)
-{ ...
-dev_err(...);
-... }
|
...
-dev_err(...);
)
...
}
// </smpl>

While we're here, remove braces on if statements that only have one
statement (manually).

Alexandre Belloni 60d3455211 rtc: puv3: make alarms useful
Currently, the driver unregisters the IRQs when the rtc character device is
closed. This means that the device needs to stay open to get alarms while
the usual use case will open the device, set the alarm and close the
device.

Move the IRQ requests to puv3_rtc_probe() and use the devm managed versions
so we don't need to free them.

Jingoo Han 7f1c2e824e rtc: rtc-puv3: remove unnecessary platform_set_drvdata()
The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or
on probe failure, since commit 0998d06310 ("device-core: Ensure drvdata

clear the device driver data to NULL.

Greg Kroah-Hartman 5a167f4543 Drivers: rtc: remove __dev* attributes.
CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev*
markings need to be removed.

This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, __devinitdata,
__devinitconst, and __devexit from these drivers.

Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me
in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.

Guan Xuetao b3a0aa3ae1 rtc-puv3: solve section mismatch in rtc-puv3.c

the section mismatch is OK. (Thanks Michal Marek)
