All fb_info structures need to be allocated with framebuffer_alloc() due
to special initialization. Switch over to it.

This deifdefs the driver and adds an explicit HAVE_CLK dependency. Given
that all SH platforms provide it, there is no reason to keep this as an
ifdef. Other architectures that implement support for this driver will
already have to provide clock framework support for timers and so on
already, so adding this as an additional dependency is not terribly
probematic.

This way they'll be properly initialized early enough for users that may
touch them before the framebuffer has been registered.
Drivers that allocate their fb_info structure some other way (like
matrocfb's broken static allocation) need to be fixed up appropriately.

Commit 537a1bf059 (fbdev: add mutex for
fb_mmap locking) introduces a ->mm_lock mutex for protecting smem
assignments. Unfortunately in the case of sm501fb these happen quite
early in the initialization code, well before the mutex_init() that takes
place in register_framebuffer(), leading to:

Add a mutex to avoid a circular locking problem between the mm layer
semaphore and fbdev ioctl mutex through the fb_mmap() call.
Also, add mutex to all places where smem_start and smem_len fields change
so the mutex inside the fb_mmap() is actually used. Changing of these
fields before calling the framebuffer_register() are not mutexed.
This is 2.6.31 material. It removes one lockdep (fb_mmap() and
register_framebuffer()) but there is still another one (fb_release() and
register_framebuffer()). It also cleans up handling of the smem_start and
smem_len fields used by mutexed section of the fb_mmap().

With KMS we have ran into an issue where we really want the KMS fb driver
to be the one running the console, so panics etc can be shown by switching
out of X etc.
However with vesafb/efifb built-in, we end up with those on fb0 and the
KMS fb driver on fb1, driving the same piece of hw, so this adds an fb
info flag to denote a firmware fbdev, and adds a new aperture base/size
range which can be compared when the hw drivers are installed to see if
there is a conflict with a firmware driver, and if there is the firmware
driver is unregistered and the hw driver takes over.
It uses new aperture_base/size members instead of comparing on the fix
smem_start/length, as smem_start/length might for example only cover the
first 1MB of the PCI aperture, and we could allocate the kms fb from 8MB
into the aperture, thus they would never overlap.

Add support for the ARGB1888 and ARGB4888 hardware to the Samsung SoC
Framebuffer driver (s3c-fb.c).
ARGB1888 and ARGB4888 is decided by var->transp.length and this variable
is set by s3c_fb_check_var().
In s3c_fb_check_var(), if var->vits_per_pixel is 25 or 28, then
var->transp.length would be 1 or 3.
Therefore alpha mode(ARGB1888 or ARGB4888) could be decided through that
variable.
For using alpha mode, you need to set the following: This code should be
added to your machine code as platform data.
static struct s3c_fb_pd_win xxx_fb_win0 = {
/* this is to ensure we use win0 */
.win_mode = {
.pixclock = (8+8+8+240)*(38+4+38+400),
.left_margin = 8,
.right_margin = 8,
.upper_margin = 38,
.lower_margin = 38,
.hsync_len = 8,
.vsync_len = 4,
.xres = 240,
.yres = 400,
},
.max_bpp = 32,
.default_bpp = 24,
};
static struct s3c_fb_pd_win xxx_fb_win1 = {
.win_mode = {
.pixclock = (8+8+8+240)*(38+4+38+400),
.left_margin = 8,
.right_margin = 8,
.upper_margin = 38,
.lower_margin = 38,
.hsync_len = 8,
.vsync_len = 4,
.xres = 240,
.yres = 400,
},
.max_bpp = 32,
.default_bpp = 28,
};
static struct s3c_fb_platdata xxx_lcd_pdata __initdata = {
.win[0] = &ncp_fb_win0,
.win[1] = &ncp_fb_win1,
.vidcon0 = VIDCON0_VIDOUT_RGB | VIDCON0_PNRMODE_RGB,
.vidcon1 = VIDCON1_INV_HSYNC | VIDCON1_INV_VSYNC,
.setup_gpio = xxx_fb_gpio_setup,
};
s3c_fb_set_platdata(&xxx_lcd_pdata);
The above code sets pixelformat for window0 layer to RGB888 and window1
layer to ARGB4888.

AFAICT the code which checks that the requested pixclock value is within
bounds is incorrect. It ensures that the lcdc core clock is at least
(bytes per pixel) times higher than the pixel clock rather than just
greater than or equal to.
There are tighter restrictions on the pixclock value as a function of bus
width for STN panels but even then it isn't a simple relationship as
currently checked for. IMO either something like the below patch should
be applied or else more detailed checking logic should be implemented
which takes in to account the panel type as well.

In the near future, the driver core is going to not allow direct access
to the driver_data pointer in struct device. Instead, the functions
dev_get_drvdata() and dev_set_drvdata() should be used. These functions
have been around since the beginning, so are backwards compatible with
all older kernel versions.

module_param(..., bool, ...) allows it, change pmi_setpal to a bool.
2) #define param_get_scroll to NULL, since it can never be called (perm
argument to module_param_named is 0).
3) Return -EINVAL from param_set_scroll if the value is bad, so it's

I found the PrimeCell/AMBA Bus drivers distrusting the resource
passed in as part of the struct amba_device abstraction. This
patch removes all hard coded resource sizes found in the PrimeCell
drivers and move the responsibility of this definition back to
the platform/board device definition, which already exist and
appear to be correct for all in-tree users of these drivers.
We do this using the resource_size() inline function which was
also replicated in the only driver using the resource size, so
that has been changed too. The KMI_SIZE was left in kmi.h in case
someone likes it. Test-compiled against Versatile and Integrator
defconfigs, seems to work but I don't posess these boards and

Added support for the new xps tft controller. The new core
has PLB interface support in addition to existing DCR interface.
Removed platform device support as both MicroBlaze and PowerPC
use device tree.
Previously, the dcr interface was assumed to be used in mmio mode,
and the register space of the dcr interface was precomputed and stuffed
into the device tree. This driver now makes use of the new dcr
infrastructure to represent the dcr interface. This enables the dcr
interface to be connected directly to a native dcr interface in a clean
way.

The software fillrect routines do not work properly when the number of
pixels per machine word is not an integer. To see that, run the following
command on a fbdev console with a 24bpp video mode, using a
non-accelerated driver such as (u)vesafb:
reset ; echo -e '\e[41mtest\e[K'
The expected result is 'test' displayed on a line with red background.
Instead of that, 'test' has a red background, but the rest of the line
(rendered using fillrect()) contains a distored colorful pattern.
This patch fixes the problem by correctly computing rotation shifts. It
has been tested in a 24bpp mode on 32- and 64-bit little-endian machines.

Uwe Geuder noted that he gets random bitmaps on a text console if he tried
to type extended characters (like the e acute). For him everything above
unicode 0xa0 was corrupted.
After some digging there seems to be a little culprit in vgacon since the
beginning of ages (well git). The function vgacon_font_get will store the
number of characters correctly in font->charcount but then calls to
vgacon_do_font_op(..., 0, 0). Which means only the lower 256 characters
are actually stored to the fontdata. The rest is left untouched. So the
next time that saved data is used, the garbled font appears. This happens
on every switch between text consoles.

uvesafb incorrectly sets the length of the color fields to 6 bits for
PSEUDOCOLOR modes, even though 8 bits are always used per pixel. Fix this
by setting the length to 8.

This patch adds support for the new Apple models incorporating an Nvidia
chipset. Apple still uses the same protocol as on older models, but the
registers moved to a different address. To do this, two sets of functions
are added for the Intel/Nvidia chipset models and passed by the DMI_MATCH
function.
The initial code has been contributed by Hu Gang <hugang@soulinfo.com>.
The driver is known to work on MacBook Pro 3, MacBook Pro 4 and MacBook
Pro 5.
Its known to work with limitations on MacBook 5 / MacBook Air 2. Changing
brightness within X doesn't work, if using Nvidia's proprietary graphics
driver with no known fix at present. Changing brightness on a text console
or using the open-source driver does work.
MacBook Pro 5 has a known bug where the initial brightness after bootup is
the last recently used brightness (in Mac OSX), while the firmware reports
maximum. Impossible to fix.

The current logic for dmi matching in efifb does not allow efifb to load
on all hardware that we can dmi match for.
For a real world example, boot with elilo (3.7 or 3.8 vanilla) and on a
Apple (MacBook) and EFI framebuffer driver will not load (you will have no
video). This specific hardware is efi v1.10, so we have UGA and not GOP.
Without special bootloader magic (i.e. extra elilo patches for UGA
graphics detection) no screen info will be passed to the kernel and as a
result efifb will not load.
This patch allows the dmi match to happen by moving it to earlier in
efifb_init, and sets the video type (in set_system) so that efifb can load
when we have a valid dmi match and already know the specifics of the
hardware.
Without this patch the efifb driver will fail to load in the event screen
info is not found and passed in by the bootloader, being that we will
never get to look for a dmi match. A primary reason for matching with dmi
is because not all bootloaders detect the video info properly. The
solution is that in the event of a dmi match, we should set
screen_info.orig_video_isVGA. Most bootloaders fail to set screen info on
Apple hardware, and this is a big problem for people who use Apple
hardware.
Tested on a MacBook SantaRosa with elilo-3.8 (vanilla) and resolves the
issue, the dmi match now works, EFI framebuffer now loads and video works.

A tridentfb driver has all the functionality of the cyblafb driver without
the bugs of the latter.
Changes to the tridentfb driver:
- FBINFO_READS_FAST added to the tridentfb. The cyblafb used a blitter
for scrolling which is faster than color expansion on Cyberblade
chipsets. The blitter is slower on a discrete Blade3D core. Use the
blitter for scrolling in the tridentfb only for integrated Blade3D
cores. Now, scrolling speed is about equal for the tridentfb and the
cyblafb.
- a copyright notice addition is done on request of Jani Monoses (the
first author of the tridentfb).

The s1d13xxx chip provides two values of identification value: the
Production id (e.g 13506/13505/13806..) and a revision number 0,1,2,3).
Together these can help us to differentiate between similiar setups.
This patch adds the proper way of grabbing both those values and save them
for future reference (in order to decide what functions a card supports,
e.g acceleration).
We also move away from the concept of all s1d13xxx = s1d13806 when we

Break cirrusfb_decode_var() function into two parts:

Change the page_mkwrite prototype to take a struct vm_fault, and return

This makes it possible to return much more detailed error information to

proc 1/2: do PDE usecounting even for ->read_proc, ->write_proc
proc: fix sparse warnings in pagemap_read()
proc: move fs/proc/inode-alloc.txt comment into a source file
Setting ->owner as done currently (pde->owner = THIS_MODULE) is racy
as correctly noted at bug #12454. Someone can lookup entry with NULL
->owner, thus not pinning enything, and release it later resulting
in module refcount underflow.
We can keep ->owner and supply it at registration time like ->proc_fops
and ->data.
But this leaves ->owner as easy-manipulative field (just one C assignment)
and somebody will forget to unpin previous/pin current module when
switching ->owner. ->proc_fops is declared as "const" which should give
some thoughts.
->read_proc/->write_proc were just fixed to not require ->owner for
protection.
rmmod'ed directories will be empty and return "." and ".." -- no harm.
And directories with tricky enough readdir and lookup shouldn't be modular.
We definitely don't want such modular code.
Removing ->owner will also make PDE smaller.
So, let's nuke it.
Kudos to Jeff Layton for reminding about this, let's say, oversight.

"Lots of device drivers register a 'struct device_driver' with
the '.bus' member set to '&platform_bus_type'. This is wrong,
since the platform_bus functions expect the 'struct device_driver'
to be wrapped up in a 'struct platform_driver' which provides
some additional callbacks (like suspend_late, resume_early).
The effect may be that platform_suspend_late() uses bogus data
outside the device_driver struct as a pointer pointer to the
device driver's suspend_late() function or other hard to
reproduce failures."(Lothar Wassmann)

This fixes a regression introduced when we switched to using the core
pci_set_power_state(). The chip seems to need the state to be written
over and over again until it sticks, so we do that.
Note that the code is a bit blunt, without timeout, etc... but that's
pretty much because I put back in there the code exactly as it used to
be before the regression. I still add a call to pci_set_power_state()
at the end so that ACPI gets called appropriately on x86.

We simply stop hardware on suspend and start it again

hvc_console: Remove tty->low_latency on pseries backends
powerpc: fix linkstation and storcenter compilation breakage
powerpc/4xx: Enable SERIAL_OF support by default for Virtex platforms
radeonfb and aty128fb have a special hook called by the PowerMac platform
code very very early on resume from sleep to bring the screen back. This
is useful for debugging wakup problems, but unfortunately, this also became
a source of problems of its own.
The hook is called extremely early, with interrupts still off, and the code
path involved with that code nowadays rely on things like taking mutexes,
GFP_KERNEL allocations, etc...
In addition, the driver now relies on the PCI core to restore the standard
config space before calling resume which doesn't happen with this early
code path.
I'm keeping the code in but commented out along with a fixup call to
pci_restore_state(). The reason is that I still want to make it easy to
re-enable temporarily to track wake up problems, and it's possible that
I can revive it at some stage if we make sleeping things save to call
in early resume using a system state.
In the meantime, this should fix several reported regressions.

Prevent the kernel from being crashed by a divide-by-zero operation when
supplied an incorrectly filled 'struct fb_var_screeninfo' from userland.
Previously i810_main.c:1005 (i810_check_params) was using the global
'yres' symbol previously defined at i810_main.c:145 as a module parameter
value holder (i810_main.c:2174). If i810fb is compiled-in or if this
param doesn't get a default value, this direct usage leads to a
divide-by-zero at i810_main.c:1005 (i810_check_params). The patch simply
replace the 'yres' global, perhaps undefined symbol usage by a given
parameter structure lookup.
This problem occurs with directfb, mplayer -vo fbdev, SDL library.

For historical reason, this driver used its own saving/restoring
of the PCI config space, and used the state of it on resume as
an indication as to whether it needed to re-POST the chip or not.
This methods breaks with the later core changes since the core will
have restored things for us.
This patch fixes it by removing that custom code, using standard
core methods to save/restore state, and testing for the need to

genericc pci_set_power_state() and removed the code that switches it
back to D0 since the generic code is doing that for us nowadays.

This fixes atyfb to properly save the PCI config space -before- it
potentially switches the PM state of the chip. This avoids a
warning with the new PM core and is the right thing to do anyway.
I also slightly cleaned up the code that checks whether we are
running on a PowerMac to do a runtime check instead of a compile
check only, and replaced a deprecated number with the proper
symbolic constant.
Finally, I removed the useless switch to D0 from resume since
the core does it for us.

Migration helper.
The i915 driver recently added a 'depends on FB' rule to its
Kconfig entry - which silently turns off DRM_I915 if someone
has a working config but no CONFIG_FB selected, and upgrades
to the latest upstream kernel.
Norbert Preining reported this problem:
Bug-Entry : http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12599
Subject : dri /dev node disappeared with 2.6.29-rc1
So change it to "select FB", which auto-selects framebuffer
support. This way the driver keeps working, regardless of
whether FB was enabled before or not.
Kconfig select's of interactive options can be problematic to
dependencies and can cause build breakages - but in this case
it's safe because it's a leaf entry with no dependencies of its
own.
( There is some minor circular dependency fallout as FB_I810
and FB_INTEL also used 'depends on FB' constructs - update
those to "select FB" too. )

Currently, netlink_broadcast() reports errors to the caller if no
messages at all were delivered:
1) If, at least, one message has been delivered correctly, returns 0.
2) Otherwise, if no messages at all were delivered due to skb_clone()
failure, return -ENOBUFS.
3) Otherwise, if there are no listeners, return -ESRCH.
With this patch, the caller knows if the delivery of any of the
messages to the listeners have failed:
1) If it fails to deliver any message (for whatever reason), return
-ENOBUFS.
2) Otherwise, if all messages were delivered OK, returns 0.
3) Otherwise, if no listeners, return -ESRCH.
In the current ctnetlink code and in Netfilter in general, we can add
reliable logging and connection tracking event delivery by dropping the
packets whose events were not successfully delivered over Netlink. Of
course, this option would be settable via /proc as this approach reduces
performance (in terms of filtered connections per seconds by a stateful
firewall) but providing reliable logging and event delivery (for
conntrackd) in return.
This patch also changes some clients of netlink_broadcast() that
may report ENOBUFS errors via printk. This error handling is not
of any help. Instead, the userspace daemons that are listening to
those netlink messages should resync themselves with the kernel-side
if they hit ENOBUFS.
BTW, netlink_broadcast() clients include those that call
cn_netlink_send(), nlmsg_multicast() and genlmsg_multicast() since they
internally call netlink_broadcast() and return its error value.

Avoid calling copy_from/to_user() with fb_info->lock mutex held in fbmem
ioctl().
fb_mmap() is called under mm->mmap_sem (A) held, that also acquires
fb_info->lock (B); fb_ioctl() takes fb_info->lock (B) and does
copy_from/to_user() that might acquire mm->mmap_sem (A), causing a
deadlock.
NOTE: it doesn't push down the fb_info->lock in each own driver's
fb_ioctl(), so there are still potential deadlocks elsewhere.

Since the complete re-write in 2.6.10, some PowerMacs (At least PowerMac 5500

columns in their framebuffer image. This seems to depend on a value (4) read
from PLL_EXT_CNTL register, which leads to incorrect DSP config parameters to
be written to the chip. This patch uses a value calculated by aty_init_pll_ct
instead, as a starting point.
There are questions as to whether this should be extended to other platforms

been tested on various powermacs and works for them so let's commit it.

The code to draw penguin logos always uses some properties of the main logo.
This is incorrect if additional logos (CONFIG_FB_LOGO_EXTRA=y) have different
types than the main logo, which causes corrupted logo images.
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12181
Hence skip additional logos that are not compatible with the main logo.
Technically, it's possible to draw multiple logos of different types on
truecolor displays, but this would complicate the (already quite
complicated) logo drawing code even more.

The function viafb_cursor() uses 2 stack-variables of CURSOR_SIZE bits;
CURSOR_SIZE is defined as (8 * 1024). Using up twice 1k on stack is too
much for 4k-stack (though it works with 8k-stacks). Make those two
variables kzalloc'ed to preserve stack space.
Also merge the whole lot of local struct's in viafb_ioctl into a union so
the stack usage gets minimized here as well. (struct's are only accessed
in their indicidual IOCTL case) This second part is only compile-tested as
I know of no userspace app using the IOCTLs.

PXA27x and later processors support overlay1 and overlay2 on-top of the
base framebuffer (although under-neath the base is also possible). They
support palette and no-palette RGB formats, as well as YUV formats (only
available on overlay2). These overlays have dedicated DMA channels and
behave in a similar way as a framebuffer.
This heavily simplified and re-structured work is based on the original
pxafb_overlay.c (which is pending for mainline merge for a long time).
The major problems with this pxafb_overlay.c are (if you are interested
in the history):
1. heavily redundant (the control logics for overlay1 and overlay2 are
actually identical except for some small operations, which are now
abstracted into a 'pxafb_layer_ops' structure)
2. a lot of useless and un-tested code (two workarounds which are now
fixed on mature silicons)
3. cursorfb is actually useless, hardware cursor should not be used
this way, and the code was actually un-tested for a long time.
The code in this patch should be self-explanatory, I tried to add minimum
comments. As said, this is basically simplified, there are several things
still on the pending list:
1. palette mode is un-supported and un-tested (although re-using the
palette code of the base framebuffer is actually very easy now with
previous clean-up patches)
2. fb_pan_display for overlay(s) is un-supported
3. the base framebuffer can actually be abstracted by 'pxafb_layer' as
well, which will help further re-use of the code and keep a better
and consistent structure. (This is the reason I named it 'pxafb_layer'
instead of 'pxafb_overlay' or something alike)
See Documentation/fb/pxafb.txt for additional usage information.

1. introduce var_to_depth() to calculate the color depth including the
transparency bit
2. the conversion from 'fb_var_screeninfo' to LCCR3 BPP bits can be re-
used by overlays (in OVLxC1), thus an individual pxafb_var_to_bpp()
has been separated out.
3. pxafb_setmode() should really set the color bitfields correctly at
begining, introduce a pxafb_set_pixfmt() for this
4. allow user apps to specify color formats within fb_var_screeninfo,
and checking of this in pxafb_check_var() has been simplified as
below:
a) pxafb_var_to_bpp() should pass - which means a basically correct
bits_per_pixel and color depth setting
b) the RGBT bitfields are then forced into supported values by
pxafb_set_pixfmt()

Note the var->yres_virtual is only re-calculated from the fix.smem_len
when text mode acceleration is enabled (which is default), this is due
to the issue as Russell suggested below:
Previous experience of doing this with the X server and acornfb is that
it causes all sorts of problems - it seems to force the X server into
assuming that the framebuffer should be panned no matter what settings
you ask it for.
The recommended workaround (implemented in acornfb) is to only do these
kinds of adjustments if text mode acceleration is enabled. IIRC, the X
server should be disabling text mode acceleration when it maps the
framebuffer. I seem to remember that there are X servers which forget
to do that though.

The amount of video memory size is decided according to the following
order:
1. <xres> x <yres> x <bits_per_pixel> by default, which is the backward
compatible way
2. size specified in platform data
3. size specified in module parameter 'options' string or specified in
kernel boot command line (see updated Documentation/fb/pxafb.txt)
And now since the memory is allocated from system memory, the pxafb_mmap
can be removed and the default fb_mmap() should be working all right.
Also, since we now have introduced the 'struct pxafb_dma_buff' for DMA
descriptors and palettes, the allocation can be separated cleanly.
NOTE: the LCD DMA actually supports chained transfer (i.e. page-based
transfers), to simplify the logic and keep the performance (with less
TLB misses when accessing from memory mapped user space), the memory
is allocated by alloc_pages_*() to ensures it's physical contiguous.

Add mode setting support to the DRM layer.
This is a fairly big chunk of work that allows DRM drivers to provide
full output control and configuration capabilities to userspace. It was
motivated by several factors:
- the fb layer's APIs aren't suited for anything but simple
configurations
- coordination between the fb layer, DRM layer, and various userspace
drivers is poor to non-existent (radeonfb excepted)
- user level mode setting drivers makes displaying panic & oops
messages more difficult
- suspend/resume of graphics state is possible in many more
configurations with kernel level support
This commit just adds the core DRM part of the mode setting APIs.
Driver specific commits using these new structure and APIs will follow.

This patch adds sh_mobile_lcdcfb deferred io support for SYS panels.
The LCDC hardware block managed by the sh_mobile_lcdcfb driver supports
RGB or SYS panel configurations. SYS panels come with an external display
controller that is resposible for refreshing the actual LCD panel. RGB
panels are controlled directly by the LCDC and they need to be refreshed
by the LCDC hardware.
In the case of SYS panels we can save some power by configuring the LCDC
hardware block in one-shot mode. In this one-shot mode panel refresh is
managed by software. This works well together with deferred io since it
allows us to stop clocks for most of the time and only enable clocks when
we actually want to trigger an update. When there is no fbdev activity
the clocks are kept stopped which allows us to deep sleep.
The refresh rate in deferred io mode is set using platform data. The same
platform data can also be used to disable deferred io mode.
As with other deferred io frame buffers user space code should use fsync()
on the frame buffer device to trigger an update.

Extend the deferred io code from only supporting vmalloc()ed frame
buffer memory to support both vmalloc()ed and physically contiguous
frame buffer memory.
The sh_mobile_lcdcfb hardware does not support scatter gather so
we need physically contiguous memory to back our frame buffer.

If CONFIG_FB_DEFERRED_IO is set, but there are framebuffers
registered that does not make use of deferred io, then fsync()
on those framebuffers will result in a crash. Fix that.
This is needed for sh_mobile_lcdcfb since we always enable
deferred io at compile time but we may disable deferred io
for some types of hardware configurations.

Currently, we never set _PAGE_COHERENT in the PTEs, we just OR it in
in the hash code based on some CPU feature bit. We also manipulate
_PAGE_NO_CACHE and _PAGE_GUARDED by hand in all sorts of places.
This changes the logic so that instead, the PTE now contains
_PAGE_COHERENT for all normal RAM pages thay have I = 0 on platforms
that need it. The hash code clears it if the feature bit is not set.
It also adds some clean accessors to setup various valid combinations
of access flags and change various bits of code to use them instead.
This should help having the PTE actually containing the bit
combinations that we really want.
I also removed _PAGE_GUARDED from _PAGE_BASE on 44x and instead
set it explicitely from the TLB miss. I will ultimately remove it
completely as it appears that it might not be needed after all
but in the meantime, having it in the TLB miss makes things a
lot easier.

fbi->state change shall really be protected by fbi->ctrlr_lock, where
the change is sheltered. There is a possibility that pxafb_smart_thread
will start update the LCD panel when fbi->state == C_ENABLE, while
all other initialization isn't done.

Some smart panel requires a delay between command sequences, while PXA
LCD controller didn't provide such one, let's emulate this by software.
A software delay marker can be inserted into the command sequence, once
pxafb_smart_queue() detects this, it flushes the previous commands and
delay for a specified number of milliseconds.

For smart panels (LCD panel with internal framebuffer), the following
LCCR3 register bits have different meanings than the parallel one:
LCCR3_PCP - controls the L_PCLK_WR polarity
LCCR3_HSP - controls the L_LCLK_A0 polarity
LCCR3_VSP - controls the L_FCLK_RD polarity
To keep minimum change to the original parallel timing, the .lcd_conn
flags and 'pxafb_mode_info.sync' are re-used to reflect this:
LCD_PCLK_EDGE_{RISE,FALL} - configures LCCR3_PCP
sync & FB_SYNC_{HOR,VERT}_HIGH_ACT - configures LCCR3_{HSP,VSP}

Add a call to cancel_work_sync() in fbcon_exit() to cancel any pending
work in the fbcon workqueue.
The current implementation of fbcon_exit() sets the fbcon workqueue
function info->queue.func to NULL, but does not assure that there is no
work pending when it does so. On occasion, depending on system timing,
there will still be pending work in the queue when fbcon_exit() is
called. This results in a null pointer deference when run_workqueue()
tries to call the queue's work function.
