Christian König d3116756a7 drm/ttm: rename bo->mem and make it a pointer
When we want to decouble resource management from buffer management we need to
be able to handle resources separately.

Add a resource pointer and rename bo->mem so that all code needs to
change to access the pointer instead.

No functional change.

Thomas Zimmermann 5690e48639 drm/gem-ttm-helper: Provide helper for struct drm_driver.dumb_map_offset
Provides an implementation of struct drm_driver.dumb_map_offset that
can be used by TTM-based GEM drivers.

Thomas Zimmermann 43676605f8 drm/ttm: Add vmap/vunmap to TTM and TTM GEM helpers
The new functions ttm_bo_{vmap,vunmap}() map and unmap a TTM BO in kernel
address space. The mapping's address is returned as struct dma_buf_map.
Each function is a simplified version of TTM's existing kmap code. Both
functions respect the memory's location ani/or writecombine flags.

On top TTM's functions, GEM TTM helpers got drm_gem_ttm_{vmap,vunmap}(),
two helpers that convert a GEM object into the TTM BO and forward the call
to TTM's vmap/vunmap. These helpers can be dropped into the rsp GEM object
callbacks.

v5:
	* use size_t for storing mapping size (Christian)
	* ignore premapped memory areas correctly in ttm_bo_vunmap()
	* rebase onto latest TTM interfaces (Christian)
	* remove BUG() from ttm_bo_vmap() (Christian)
v4:
	* drop ttm_kmap_obj_to_dma_buf() in favor of vmap helpers (Daniel,
	  Christian)

Christian König 54d04ea8cd drm/ttm: merge offset and base in ttm_bus_placement
This is used by TTM to communicate the physical address
which should be used with ioremap(), ioremap_wc(). We don't
need to separate the base and offset in any way here.

Emil Velikov be6ee10234 drm: remove _unlocked suffix in drm_gem_object_put_unlocked
Spelling out _unlocked for each and every driver is a annoying.
Especially if we consider how many drivers, do not know (or need to)
about the horror stories involving struct_mutex.

Just drop the suffix. It makes the API cleaner.

Done via the following script:

__from=drm_gem_object_put_unlocked
__to=drm_gem_object_put
for __file in $(git grep --name-only $__from); do
  sed -i  "s/$__from/$__to/g" $__file;
done

Pay special attention to the compat #define

v2: keep sed and #define removal separate

Gerd Hoffmann 9786b65bc6 drm/ttm: fix mmap refcounting
When mapping ttm objects via drm_gem_ttm_mmap() helper
drm_gem_mmap_obj() will take an object reference. That gets
never released due to ttm having its own reference counting.

Fix that by dropping the gem object reference once the ttm mmap
completed (and ttm refcount got bumped).

For that to work properly the drm_gem_object_get() call in
drm_gem_ttm_mmap() must be moved so it happens before calling
obj->funcs->mmap(), otherwise the gem refcount would go down
to zero.

Gerd Hoffmann 231927d939 drm/ttm: add drm_gem_ttm_mmap()
Add helper function to mmap ttm bo's using &drm_gem_object_funcs.mmap().

Note that with this code path access verification is done by
drm_gem_mmap() (which calls drm_vma_node_is_allowed(()).
The &ttm_bo_driver.verify_access() callback is is not used.

Gerd Hoffmann 141f6357f4 drm: tweak drm_print_bits()
There is little reason for the from/to logic, printing a subset of
the bits can be done by simply shifting/masking value if needed.

Also use for_each_set_bit().

Gerd Hoffmann ff540b76f1 drm/ttm: add drm gem ttm helpers, starting with drm_gem_ttm_print_info()
Now with ttm_buffer_object being a subclass of drm_gem_object we can
easily lookup ttm_buffer_object for a given drm_gem_object, which in
turn allows to create common helper functions.

This patch starts off with a drm_gem_ttm_print_info() helper function
which adds some ttm specific lines to the debug output.
