Lv Zheng 2e70da4c51 ACPICA: Utilities: Introduce acpi_log_error() to improve portability
Invocations like fprintf(stderr) and perror() are not portable, this patch
introduces acpi_log_error() as a replacement, it is implemented using new
portable API - acpi_ut_file_vprintf().

Note that though acpi_os_initialize() need to be invoked prior than using
this new API, since no users are introduced in this patch, such invocations
are not added for applications that link utprint.c in this patch. Futher
patches that introduce users of acpi_log_error() should take care of this.

This patch is only useful for ACPICA applications, most of which are not
shipped in the Linux kernel.

Note that follow-up commits will update acpidump to use this new API to
improve portability. Lv Zheng.

Bob Moore 5076f00504 ACPICA: Debug output: Fix a couple of small output issues.
1) Fix utcache to use the proper return macros in order to maintain
the function nesting level.

2) Enable the function nesting level for all ACPI applications instead
of just acpiexec.

Linux kernel behaviour is not affected by this patch as Linux doesn't
use ACPICA object cache mechanism currently.

Bob Moore bf9b448ef8 ACPICA: Debug output: Do not emit function nesting level for kernel build.
The nesting level is really only useful during a single-thread
execution. Therefore, only enable this output for the AcpiExec
utility. Also, only emit the thread ID when executing under AcpiExec.
(Context switches are still detected and a message is emitted.)

Lv Zheng 839e928f5b ACPICA: Add EXPORT_ACPI_INTERFACES macro to external interface modules.
For Linux, there are no functional changes/binary generation differences
introduced by this patch.

This change adds a new macro to all files that contain external ACPICA
interfaces. It can be detected and used by the host (via the host-specific
header) for any special processing required for such modules. Lv Zheng.

Lv Zheng 6d33b6be17 ACPICA: Fix unmerged utility divergences.
Utility improvements in ACPICA are partial ignored by ACPICA Linux
release. This will lead to divergences between Linux and ACPICA.
This patch ports the entire "utility" into Linux and makes them
igored in the compilation stage by "ACPI_FUTURE_USAGE".
The following "Utility" files have been ported into the Linux:
  drivers/acpi/uttrack.c
  drivers/acpi/utcache.c
  drivers/acpi/utids.c

This patch will not affect the generated vmlinx binary.
This will decrease 274 lines of 20120913 divergence.diff.

lower case (with underscores if necessary.)

Paul Gortmaker 214f2c90b9 acpi: add export.h to files using THIS_MODULE/EXPORT_SYMBOL
These files were relying on module.h to come in via the path
in an include/acpi header file, but we don't want to have
instances of module.h being included from include/* files
if it can be avoided. Have the files include export.h instead.

Lin Ming 28eb3fcf87 ACPICA: Make acpi_thread_id no longer configurable, always u64
Change definition of acpi_thread_id to always be a u64. This
simplifies the code, especially any printf output. u64 is
the only common data type for all thread_id types across all
operating systems. We now force the OSL to cast the native
thread_id type to u64 before returning the value to ACPICA
(via acpi_os_get_thread_id).

Bob Moore 5df7e6cb42 ACPICA: Remove obsolete ACPI_INTEGER (acpi_integer) type
This type was introduced as the code was migrated from ACPI 1.0
(with 32-bit AML integers) to ACPI 2.0 (with 64-bit integers). It
is now obsolete and this change removes it from the ACPICA code
base, replaced by u64. The original typedef has been retained
for now for compatibility with existing device driver code.

Bob Moore 10b6575b5d ACPICA: Fix possible warnings for ACPI_THREAD_ID on 64-bit build
Warnings can be generated for printf-like statements that output
the ACPI_THREAD_ID on 64-bit builds, since this type can expand
to 64-bits depending on how it is defined. Use the %p format
specifier to allow the output to automatically expand to 64 bits.
