mixer_wait_for_vblank function expects that the upcoming
vsync interrupt handler routine will clear the
wait_vsync_event atomic variable.
For this to happen, interrupts should be enabled and
disabled properly.

Mixer soft reset is a recommended step before reconfiguring
the mixer after power on. Mixer looses the previous state of
DMAs if soft reset. This is the recommendation from the
hardware team.

Allowing only one layer update per vsync can cause issues
while there are update available for both layers. There is
a good amount of possibility to loose updates if we allow
single update per vsync.

Mixer should be power gated only after it is gracefully stopped.
The recommended sequence is to Stop the mixer and wait till
it enters to IDLE state before gating the clocks and power to
the mixer.

Power state variable holds the state of the mixer device.
Power on and power off functions are toggling these variable
at wrong place.
State variable should be changed to true only after Runtime
PM and clocks are enabled. Else it may result to a situation
where mixer registers are accessed with device power enabled.
Similar logic for poweroff sequence.

This patch makes sure that exynos drm framework handles deferred
probe case correctly.
Sub drivers could be probed before resources, clock, regulator,
phy or panel, are ready for them so we should make sure that exynos
drm core waits until all resources are ready and sub drivers are
probed correctly.
Chagelog v2:

they have a pair: crtc and encoder/connector components should be a pair.

This patch adds component framework support to resolve
the probe order issue.
Until now, exynos drm had used codes specific to exynos drm
to resolve that issue so with this patch, the specific codes
are removed.

This patch removes all of the suspend/resume logic from the individual
drivers and consolidates it in drm_drv. This consolidation reduces the
number of functions which enable/disable the hardware to just one -- the
dpms callback. This ensures that we always power up/down in a consistent
manner.

This patch trims exynos_drm_hdmi out of the driver. The reason it
existed in the first place was to make up for the mixture of
display/overlay/manager ops being spread across hdmi and mixer. With
that code now rationalized, mixer and hdmi map directly to
exynos_drm_crtc and exynos_drm_encoder, respectively. Since there is a
1:1 mapping, we no longer need this layer.

This patch implements the initialize callback in the hdmi and mixer
manager. This allows us to get rid of drm_dev in the drm_hdmi level and
track it in the mixer and hdmi drivers. This is one of the things
holding back the complete removal of the drm_hdmi layer.

This patch merges overlay_ops into manager_ops. In all cases,
overlay_ops is implemented in the same place as manager ops, it doesn't
serve a functional purpose, and doesn't make things more clear.

The buf_num in vp_video_buffer() should be 1 or 2, but it is not
initialized, and only set to 2 in NV12M or NV12MT cases.
So this patch initializes the buf_num with 1 as default.

This patch adds new combatible strings for hdmi, mixer, ddc
and hdmiphy. It follows the convention of using compatible string
which represent the SoC in which the IP was added for the first
time.
Drivers continue to support the previous compatible strings
but further addition of these compatible strings in device tree
is deprecated.

unnecessary conversion of drm_display_mode to/from fb_videomode in

Valid values for mixer window are from 0 to MIXER_WIN_NR-1 inclusive.
Arrays in structures (e.g. mixer_context.win_data) have size of
MIXER_WIN_NR so checks for wrong mixer window must be greater-equal.

This patch disables blending the mixer's layer 0 onto the background
(solid color). It doesn't make sense to blend this layer by default,
and causes color distortion if the layer is used for arbitrary content.

Exynos5 is already using drm_display_mode for timings parameters. Exynos4
is also modifed to use the same. List of supported resolutions and
corresponding timings are removed which helps is enabling some extra
resolutions. It also cleans some of the duplicate code.
Exynos4 and Exynos5 Mixers, work fine for the same range of resolutions. Hence
same condition (to find the supported mode) is applied to both.
More exynos4 phy configs can be added later to extend the mode supprot.

With this patch, mixer driver find the correct resolution mode for
the range of resolutions, upto 1080 vertical lines. Resolution will
be categorized to NTSC SD, PAL SD or HD and the correct mode is
set to the mixer configuration register.

This patch adds the implementation of check_timing callback in the mixer
driver. Based on the mixer version, correct set of restrictions will be
exposed by the mixer driver. A resolution will be acceptable only if passes
the criteria set by mixer and hdmi IPs.

CONFIG_HOTPLUG is going away as an option. As a result, the __dev*
markings need to be removed.
This change removes the use of __devinit, __devexit_p, and __devexit
from these drivers.
Based on patches originally written by Bill Pemberton, but redone by me
in order to handle some of the coding style issues better, by hand.

When mixer is turned off, we disable the clocks which will stop
the dma. Now if we remove the current framebuffer, we cannot
disable the overlay but the current framebuffer will still be freed.
When mixer resumes, the dma will continue from where it left off
and will throw a PAGE FAULT since the memory was freed.
This patch fixes the above problem by disabling the mixer windows
before disabling the mixer clocks. It also keeps track of which
windows were currently active by setting the 'resume' flag. When
mixer resumes, the window with a resume flag set is enabled again.
Now if a current fb is removed when mixer is off, mixer_win_disable
will set the 'resume' flag of that window to zero and return.
So when mixer resumes, that window will not be resumed.

It is more optimium to use wait queues while waiting for vsync so
that the current task is put to sleep. This way, the task wont
hog the CPU while waiting. We use wait_event_timeout and not
an interruptible function since we dont want the function to exit
when a signal is pending (e.g. drm release). This patch modifies
the wait for vblank function of mixer.

It's guaranteed that for each event on pageflip_event_list we have
called drm_vblank_get() - see exynos_drm_crtc_page_flip() - so checking
for this is redundant.
Also we need to call drm_vblank_put() for each event on the list, not
only once, otherwise we'd leak vblank references if there are multiple
events on the list.

exynos-drm-hdmi need context pointers from hdmi and mixer. These
pointers were expected from the plf data. Cleaned this dependency
