Xiaolong CHEN 69a4af606e Input: adp5588-keys - support GPI events for ADP5588 devices
A column or row configured as a GPI can be programmed to be part
of the key event table and therefore also capable of generating a
key event interrupt. A key event interrupt caused by a GPI follows
the same process flow as a key event interrupt caused by a key
press. GPIs configured as part of the key event table allow single
key switches and other GPI interrupts to be monitored. As part of
the event table, GPIs are represented by the decimal value 97 (0x61
or 1100001) through the decimal value 114 (0x72 or 1110010). See
table below for GPI event number assignments for rows and columns.

Moiz Sonasath a29aaf55cd mfd: Disable TWL4030/5030 I2C1/I2C4 internal pull-ups
This patch disables TWL4030/5030 I2C1 adn I2C4(SR) internal pull-up, to
use only the external HW resistor >=470 Ohm for the assured
functionality in HS mode.

While testing the I2C in High Speed mode, it was discovered that
without a proper pull-up resistor, there is data corruption during
multi-byte transfer. RTC(time_set) test case was used for testing.

From the analysis done, it was concluded that ideally we need a
pull-up of 1.6k Ohm(recomended) or atleast 470 Ohm or greater for
assured performance in HS mode.

Misael Lopez Cruz d62abe563f OMAP4: PMIC: Add support for twl6030 codec
In order to have TWL6030 CODEC driver as a platform driver, codec data
should be passed through twl_platform_data structure.

For twl6030 audio codec, the following data may be passed:
    - audpwron_gpio: gpio line used to power-up/down the codec. A low-to-high
transition powers codec up. Setting audpwron_gpio to a negative value
means that codec will use manual power sequence instead of automatic
      sequence
    - naudint_irq: irq line for audio interrupt. twl6030 drives NAUDINT line
to low when an interrupt (codec ready, plug insertion/removal, etc) is
      detected

However, codec driver can operate if any or none of them are passed.

Peter Ujfalusi 0b83ddebc6 MFD: twl4030: add twl4030_codec MFD as a new child to the core
New MFD child to twl4030 MFD device.

Reason for the twl4030_codec MFD: the vibra control is actually in the codec
part of the twl4030. If both the vibra and the audio functionality is needed
from the twl4030 at the same time, than they need to control the codec power
and APLL at the same time without breaking the other driver.
Also these two has to be able to work without the need for the other driver.

This MFD device will be used by the drivers, which needs resources
from the twl4030 codec like audio and vibra.

The platform specific configuration data is passed along to the
child drivers (audio, vibra).

Amit Kucheria ebf0bd366e mfd: Add support for TWL4030/5030 dynamic power switching
The TWL4030/5030 family of multifunction devices allows board-specific
control of the the various regulators, clock and reset lines through
'scripts' that are loaded into its memory. This allows for Dynamic Power
Switching (DPS).

Implement board-independent core support for DPS that is then used by
board-specific code to load custom DPS scripts.

Kevin Hilman 7274ec8bd7 memory_accessor: implement the new memory_accessor interface for I2C EEPROM
In the case of at24, the platform code registers a 'setup' callback with
the at24_platform_data. When the at24 driver detects an EEPROM, it fills
out the read and write functions of the memory_accessor and calls the
setup callback passing the memory_accessor struct. The platform code can
then use the read/write functions in the memory_accessor struct for
reading and writing the EEPROM.

David Brownell fa16a5c13a regulator: twl4030 regulators
Support most of the LDO regulators in the twl4030 family chips.
In the case of LDOs supporting MMC/SD, the voltage controls are
used; but in most other cases, the regulator framework is only
used to enable/disable a supplies, conserving power when a given
voltage rail is not needed.

The drivers/mfd/twl4030-core.c code already sets up the various
regulators according to board-specific configuration, and knows
that some chips don't provide the full set of voltage rails.

The omitted regulators are intended to be under hardware control,
such as during the hardware-mediated system powerup, powerdown,
and suspend states. Unless/until software hooks are known to
be safe, they won't be exported here.

These regulators implement the new get_status() operation, but
can't realistically implement get_mode(); the status output is
effectively the result of a vote, with the relevant hardware
inputs not exposed.
