Luis R. Rodriguez a2f73b6c5d cfg80211: move regulatory flags to their own variable
We'll expand this later, this will make it easier to
classify and review what things are related to regulatory
or not.

Coccinelle only missed 4 hits, which I had to do manually,
supplying the SmPL in case of merge conflicts.

Luis R. Rodriguez 8fe02e167e cfg80211: consolidate passive-scan and no-ibss flags
These two flags are used for the same purpose, just
combine them into a no-ir flag to annotate no initiating
radiation is allowed.

Old userspace sending either flag will have it treated as
the no-ir flag. To be considerate to older userspace we
also send both the no-ir flag and the old no-ibss flags.
Newer userspace will have to be aware of older kernels.

Update all places in the tree using these flags with the
following semantic patch:

	drivers/net/wireless/rtlwifi/rtl8192de/phy.h
	drivers/net/wireless/rtlwifi/rtl8723ae/phy.h

Just some minor conflicts between the wireless-next changes
and Joe Perches's "extern" removal from function prototypes
in header files.

John W. Linville says:

====================
Regarding the Bluetooth bits, Gustavo says:

"The big work here is from Marcel and Johan. They did a lot of work
in the L2CAP, HCI and MGMT layers. The most important ones are the
addition of a new MGMT command to enable/disable LE advertisement
and the introduction of the HCI user channel to allow applications
to get directly and exclusive access to Bluetooth devices."

As to the ath10k bits, Kalle says:

"Bartosz dropped support for qca98xx hw1.0 hardware from ath10k, it's
just too much to support it. Michal added support for the new firmware
interface. Marek fixed WEP in AP and IBSS mode. Rest of the changes are
minor fixes or cleanups."

And also:

"Major changes are:

* throughput improvements including aligning the RX frames correctly and
  optimising HTT layer (Michal)

* remove qca98xx hw1.0 support (Bartosz)

* add support for firmware version 999.999.0.636 (Michal)

* firmware htt statistics support (Kalle)

* fix WEP in AP and IBSS mode (Marek)

* fix a mutex unlock balance in debugfs file (Shafi)

And of course there's a lot of smaller fixes and cleanup."

For the wl12xx bits, Luca says:

"Here are some patches intended for 3.13. Eliad is upstreaming a bunch
of patches that have been pending in the internal tree. Mostly bugfixes
and other small improvements."

Along with that...

Arend and friends bring us a batch of brcmfmac updates, Larry Finger
offers some rtlwifi refactoring, and Sujith sends the usual batch of
ath9k updates. As usual, there are a number of other small updates
from a variety of players as well.

Arend van Spriel db4efbbeb4 brcmfmac: obtain platform data upon module initialization
The driver uses platform_driver_probe() to obtain platform data
if any. However, that function is placed in the .init section so
it must be called upon driver module initialization.

The problem was reported by Fenguang Wu resulting in a kernel
oops because the .init section was already freed.

Joe Perches 9bd91f3c00 brcm80211: Remove extern from function prototypes
There are a mix of function prototypes with and without extern
in the kernel sources. Standardize on not using extern for
function prototypes.

Function prototypes don't need to be written with extern.
extern is assumed by the compiler. Its use is as unnecessary as
using auto to declare automatic/local variables in a block.

Arend van Spriel c4bff5d99d brcmfmac: fix bus interface selection in Kconfig
The kernel configuration for the driver could result in
compilation issues as reported by Randy Dunlap. His results
are show below:

"on x86_64:

when
CONFIG_MMC=m
CONFIG_BRCMUTIL=y
CONFIG_BRCMFMAC=y
CONFIG_BRCMFMAC_SDIO=y

This bool kconfig symbol:

config BRCMFMAC_SDIO
bool "SDIO bus interface support for FullMAC driver"
	depends on MMC

allows BRCMFMAC_SDIO to be y even when MMC=m.

Is there a reasonable solution to this?

This causes many build errors:

drivers/built-in.o: In function `brcmf_sdio_assert_info':
dhd_sdio.c:(.text+0x39609b): undefined reference to `sdio_claim_host'
dhd_sdio.c:(.text+0x3960d9): undefined reference to `sdio_release_host'
drivers/built-in.o: In function `brcmf_sdio_readframes':

dhd_sdio.c:(.text+0x396a9b): undefined reference to `sdio_release_host'
..."

This patch adds the appropriate logic in Kconfig to resolve
these issues. The solution was provided by Hauke Mehrtens.

 "Noteworthy changes this time around:

   1) Multicast rejoin support for team driver, from Jiri Pirko.

   2) Centralize and simplify TCP RTT measurement handling in order to
reduce the impact of bad RTO seeding from SYN/ACKs. Also, when
both timestamps and local RTT measurements are available prefer
the later because there are broken middleware devices which
      scramble the timestamp.

      From Yuchung Cheng.

   3) Add TCP_NOTSENT_LOWAT socket option to limit the amount of kernel
memory consumed to queue up unsend user data. From Eric Dumazet.

   4) Add a "physical port ID" abstraction for network devices, from
      Jiri Pirko.

   5) Add a "suppress" operation to influence fib_rules lookups, from
      Stefan Tomanek.

   6) Add a networking development FAQ, from Paul Gortmaker.

   7) Extend the information provided by tcp_probe and add ipv6 support,
      from Daniel Borkmann.

   8) Use RCU locking more extensively in openvswitch data paths, from
      Pravin B Shelar.

   9) Add SCTP support to openvswitch, from Joe Stringer.

  10) Add EF10 chip support to SFC driver, from Ben Hutchings.

  11) Add new SYNPROXY netfilter target, from Patrick McHardy.

  12) Compute a rate approximation for sending in TCP sockets, and use
this to more intelligently coalesce TSO frames. Furthermore, add
a new packet scheduler which takes advantage of this estimate when
      available. From Eric Dumazet.

  13) Allow AF_PACKET fanouts with random selection, from Daniel
      Borkmann.

  14) Add ipv6 support to vxlan driver, from Cong Wang"

When the device is physically connected the driver sends a disassoc
command to the device and response triggers the driver to inform cfg80211
about it. However, with the device removed the disassoc command fails.
This patch adds a call to cfg80211_disconnected() when that command fails.

The warning was added by commit below and also cleans up, but better
doing it in the driver if only to get rid of the warning.

Arend van Spriel 541e667e1c brcmsmac: disable power-save related functions
This patch fixes a regression introduced by:

  commit 6da3b6c48d
  Author: Hauke Mehrtens <hauke@hauke-m.de>
  Date: Sun Mar 24 01:45:52 2013 +0100

      brcmsmac: remove brcms_bss_cfg->associated

The regression behaviour was described on mailing list.

http://mid.gmane.org/5197DC4F.7030503@broadcom.com:
"On laptop I installed kernel with brcmsmac compiled as
module. It comes up and associates during boot, but after
logging in there is no connectivity. Triggering reassoc
gives connectivity for some time, but after a while (1-2 min)
it stops."

Before the mentioned commit the return value of
the function brcms_c_ps_allowed() was always false,
which is desired behaviour as power-save is not
supported at the moment. Therefor, the function is
changed to just return false instead of simply
reverting the mentioned commit.
