ASoC: pcm512x: Mend accesses to the I2S_1 and I2S_2 registers
Commit 25d27c4f68 ("ASoC: pcm512x: Add support for more data formats")
breaks the TSE-850 device, which is using a pcm5142 in I2S and
CBM_CFS mode (maybe not relevant). Without this fix, the result
is:

pcm512x 0-004c: Failed to set data format: -16

And after that, no sound.

This fix is not 100% correct. The datasheet of at least the pcm5142
states that four bits (0xcc) in the I2S_1 register are "RSV"
("Reserved. Do not access.") and no hint is given as to what the
initial values are supposed to be. So, specifying defaults for
these bits is wrong. But perhaps better than a broken driver?

ASoC: pcm512x: Add support for more data formats
Currently, pcm512x driver supports only I2S data format.
This commit adds RJ, LJ, DSP_A and DSP_B as well.

I don't expect regression WRT existing sound cards, because:

* default value in corresponding register of pcm512x codec is 0 == I2S
* existing in-tree sound cards with pcm512x codec are configured for I2S
* i don't see how existing off-tree sound cards with pcm512x codec could be
  configured differently - it would not work
* tested explicitly, that there is no regression with Raspberry Pi +
  sound card `sound/soc/bcm/hifiberry_dacplus.c`

ASoC: pcm512x: Move format check into `set_fmt()`
I would like to describe the reasoning by quoting Peter Ujfalusi

> When you bind a link you will use set_fmt for the two sides to see if
> they can agree, that both can support what has been asked.

> The pcm512x driver just saves the fmt and say back to that card:
> whatever, I'm fine with it. But runtime during hw_params it can fail due
> to unsupported bus format, which it actually acked to be ok.
>
> This is the difference.

> Sure, some device have constraint based on the fmt towards the hw_params
> and it is perfectly OK to do such a checks and rejections or build
> rules/constraints based on fmt, but failing hw_params just because
> set_fmt did not checked that the bus format is not even supported is not
> a nice thing to do.

ASoC: pcm512x: Rearrange operations in `hw_params()`
This commit is a preparation for the next patch in the series.
It's goal is to make format check easy-to-move-out. Theoretically, more
butifications are possile in `hw_params()` func, but my intention in this
commit is to keep behaviour unchanged.

~~~~
	switch (pcm512x->fmt & SND_SOC_DAIFMT_MASTER_MASK) {
Fixed by writing it into register before checking
ASoC: pcm512x: Fix clocking calculations when not using the PLL
The rationale behind the current calculation is somewhat obscure [1]
and can yield slightly wrong dividers in certain cases, which the
machine drivers for some boards (like the HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro)
seemingly try to circumvent, by updating the rate fraction so as to
suit this calculation.
The updated calculation should correctly yield the smallest bit clock
rate that would fit the frame.
ASoC: pcm512x: Implement the set_bclk_ratio interface
Some boards, such as the HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro, use a pair of external
oscillators, to generate 44.1 or 48kHz multiples and are forced to
resort to hacks [1] in order to support 24-bit data without ending up
with fractional dividers.  This patch allows the machine driver to use
32-bit frames for 24-bit data to avoid such issues.
Although the datasheet (p. 15) seems to suggest that only a handful
of ratios are supported, it's not very explicit about it, so we allow
the full range of values supported by the underlying register in the
callback, to avoid needlessly rejecting potentially usable
configurations.
Peter Rosin f29933c9ae ASoC: pcm512x: Allow independently overclocking PLL, DAC and DSP
When using non-standard rates, a relatively small amount of overclocking
can make a big difference to a number of cases.
- Not all rates are possible to achieve with the PLL, due to divider
  restrictions.
- The higher oversampling rates that can be used by the DAC, the
  simpler the analog output filters get (mirror frequencies move up,
  away from the desired spectrum).
- The more work the DSP can perform per sample, the better.
For standard rates, there is little to gain as everything is
designed just right, and the needed overclocking to make a
real difference would be significant.
Peter Rosin 9c7da1a57b ASoC: pcm512x: Use the correct range constraints for S24_LE
This was overlooked in the late change to remove the I2S padding bits
from S24_LE mode. The patch also limits S32_LE mode to 384kHz, the
maximum according to the datasheets.
Peter Rosin 7c4e1119a9 ASoC: pcm512x: Avoid the PLL for the DAC clock, if possible
The PLL introduces jitter, which in turn introduces noice if used
to clock the DAC. Thus, avoid the PLL output, and use the PLL input
to drive the DAC clock, if possible.
This is described for the PCM5142/PCM5242 chips in the answers to the
forum post "PCM5142/PCM5242 DAC clock source" at the TI E2E community
pages (1).
Peter Rosin f086ba9d53 ASoC: pcm512x: Support mastering BCLK/LRCLK using the PLL
Using the PLL in master mode requires using an external connection
between one of the GPIO pins (configured as PLL/4 output) and the
SCK pin. It also requires the external clock to be fed to some other
GPIO pin instead of the SCK pin.
This is described for the PCM5122 chip in the answers to the forum post
"PCM5122 DAC as I2S master troubles with PLL mode" at the TI E2E
community pages (1). The clocking functionality is also much better
described in the datasheet for the chip PCM5242, which seems to be
register compatible with PCM512x and PCM514x (which both have severely
lacking datasheets).
Rafael J. Wysocki 641d334b29 sound / PM: Replace CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME with CONFIG_PM
After commit b2b49ccbdd (PM: Kconfig: Set PM_RUNTIME if PM_SLEEP is
selected) PM_RUNTIME is always set if PM is set, so #ifdef blocks
depending on CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME may now be changed to depend on
CONFIG_PM.
Replace CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME with CONFIG_PM everywhere under sound/.
Mark Brown 806d646607 ASoC: pcm512x: Implement paging support
The PCM512x devices use a paged register map covering the entire register
range. Implement support for this, mapping pages in at addresses starting
at 0x100 for ease of use (though since the pages are numbered from 0 there
is going to be an off by one when looking at the first byte as a page
number).
Also mark the new registers as accessible with the exception of the
coefficient RAM which is a bit fiddly and may benefit from some extra
handling to linearise the blocks.
device which covers common use cases but does not cover all features.
are supported and most of the DSP configuration for the device is not
