ACPICA commit d06def132a8852d02c9c7fee60f17b2011066e8e

Macro was not being used across all "printf-like" functions.

Also, clean up all calls to such functions now that they are
analyzed by the compiler (gcc). Both in 32-bit mode and 64-bit
mode.

ACPICA commit 0c08790c56fdf0dc081ae869495a09d8c4230854

This change defers the resolution of package elements that
are named references until after the entire namespace has been

Lv Zheng 65082bfcb4 ACPICA: CLib: Add short multiply/shift support
ACPICA commit 01b8f5a2350b9cc329cd8402ac8faec36fc501f5

In order to build ACPICA EFI tools with EDK-II on Windows, 64-bit
multiply/shift supports are also required to be implemented. Otherwise,
MSVC complains:
 acpidump.lib(utstrtoul64.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __allmul
 acpidump.lib(uthex.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __aullshr

Note:
1. This patch also splits _EDK2_EFI from _GNU_EFI as they might have
   different math64 supports.
2. Support of gcc math64 is not included in this patch.
3. Support of EDK2 arch independent math64 is done via linking to base_lib.

This patch fixes this issue. Reported by Shao Ming, fixed by Lv Zheng.

For Linux kernel, this patch is a functional no-op.

Mika Westerberg 97028ce6fc ACPICA: ACPI 6.2: Add support for PinConfig() resource
ACPICA commit a06fdba686cefccd5dd5b93b52fa0f1e3f984906

ACPI 6.2 introduced a new resource that is used to specify fine-grained
configuration of a pin or set of pins used by a device. The ASL syntax of
this new resource looks like:

  PinConfig (Shared/Exclusive, PinConfigType, PinConfigValue,
             ResourceSource, ResourceSourceIndex, ResourceUsage,
             DescriptorName, Vendordata) {Pin List}

PinConfigType is an integer with following accepted values:

  0x00 (Default) - No configuration is applied to the pin
  0x01 (Bias Pull-up) - Pin is pulled up using certain size resistor
  0x02 (Bias Pull-down) - Pin is pulled down using certain size resistor
  0x03 (Bias Default) - Set to default biasing
  0x04 (Bias Disable) - All bias settings will be disabled
  0x05 (Bias High Impedance) - Configure the pin as hi_z
  0x06 (Bias Bus Hold) - Configure the pin in a weak latch state where
                         it drives the last value on a tristate bus
  0x07 (Drive Open Drain) - Configure the pin into open drain state
  0x08 (Drive Open Source) - Configure the pin into open source state
  0x09 (Drive Push Pull) - Configure the pin into push-pull state
  0x0a (Drive Strength) - How much the pin can supply current
  0x0b (Slew Rate) - Configure slew rate of the pin
  0x0c (Input Debounce) - Enable input debouncer for the pin
  0x0d (Input Schmitt Trigger) - Enable schmitt trigger for the pin
  0x0e - 0x7f - Reserved
  0x80 - 0xff - Vendor defined types

The PinConfigValue depends on the type and is expressed as units
suitable for that type (for example bias uses Ohms).

Lv Zheng f173a7750e ACPICA: Clib: Add -nostdinc support for EFI layer
ACPICA commit d261d40ea168f8e4c4e3986de720b8651c4aba1c

This patch adds sprintf()/snprintf()/vsnprintf()/printf()/vfprintf()
support for OSPMs that have ACPI_USE_SYSTEM_CLIBRARY defined but do not
have ACPI_USE_STANDARD_HEADERS defined.

-iwithprefix include is required to include <stdarg.h> which contains
compiler specific implementation of vargs when -nostdinc is specified.
-fno-builtin is required for GCC to avoid optimization performed printf().
This optimization cannot be automatically disabled by specifying -nostdlib.
Please refer to the first link below for the details. However, the build
option changes do not affect Linux kernel builds and are not included.

ACPICA commit b2294cae776f5a66a7697414b21949d307e6856f

This patch removes unwanted spaces for typedef. This solution doesn't cover
function types.

Note that the linuxize result of this commit is very giant and should have
many conflicts against the current Linux upstream. Thus it is required to
modify the linuxize result of this commit and the commits around it
manually in order to have them merged to the Linux upstream. Since this is
very costy, we should do this only once, and if we can't ensure to do this
only once, we need to revert the Linux code to the wrong indentation result
before merging the linuxize result of this commit. Lv Zheng.

    validate the address. It may be done by future commits.
2. acpi_os_get_line(): This is used to obtain debugger command input. This
    patch only introduces a simple KDB concept example in it and the
    example should be co-working with the code implemented in
    acpi_os_printf(). Since this KDB example won't be compiled unless
    ENABLE_DEBUGGER is defined and it seems Linux has already stopped to
    use ENABLE_DEBUGGER, thus do not expect it can work properly.

This patch also cleans up all other ACPI_FUTURE_USAGE surroundings
accordingly.
1. Since linkage error can be automatically detected, declaration in the
   headers needn't be surrounded by ACPI_FUTURE_USAGE.
   So only the following separate exported fuction bodies are masked by
   this macro (other exported fucntions may have already been masked at
   entire module level via drivers/acpi/acpica/Makefile):
     acpi_install_exception_handler()
     acpi_subsystem_status()
     acpi_get_system_info()
     acpi_get_statistics()
     acpi_install_initialization_handler()
2. Since strip can automatically zap the no-user functions, functions that
   are not marked with ACPI_EXPORT_SYMBOL() needn't get surrounded by
   ACPI_FUTURE_USAGE.
   So the following function which is not used by Linux kernel now won't
   get surrounded by this macro:
     acpi_ps_get_name()

Lv Zheng 80a648c12e ACPICA: Utilities: Add formatted printing APIs
This patch introduces formatted printing APIs to handle ACPICA specific
formatted print requirements. Currently only specific OSPMs will use this
customized printing support, Linux kernel doesn't use these APIs at this
time. It will be enabled for Linux kernel resident ACPICA after being well
tested. So currently this patch is a no-op.

The specific formatted printing APIs are useful to ACPICA as:
 1. Some portable applications do not link standard C library, so they
    cannot use standard formatted print APIs directly.
 2. Platform specific printing format may differ and thus not portable, for
    example, u64 is %ull for Linux kernel and is %uI64 for some MSVC
    versions.
 3. Platform specific printing format may conflict with ACPICA's usages
    while it is not possible for ACPICA developers to test their code for
    all platforms. For example, developers may generate %pRxxx while Linux
    kernel treats %pR as structured resource printing and decodes variable
    argument as a "struct resource" pointer.
This patch solves above issues by introducing the new APIs.

Note that users of such APIs are not introduced in this patch. Users of
acpi_os_file_vprintf()/acpi_ut_file_printf() need to invoke acpi_os_initialize(),
this should be taken care by the further patches where such users are
introduced. Lv Zheng.

Lv Zheng 83b80bace4 ACPICA: OSL: Clean up acpi_os_printf()/acpi_os_vprintf() stubs
This patch is mainly for acpidump where there are redundant
acpi_os_printf()/acpi_os_vprintf() stubs implemented. This patch cleans up such
specific implementation by linking acpidump to osunixxf.c/oswinxf.c.

To make acpi_os_printf() exported by osunixxf.c/oswinxf.c to behave as the
old acpidump specific ones, applications need to:
 1. Initialize acpi_gbl_db_output_flags to ACPI_DB_CONSOLE_OUTPUT.
    This is automatically done by ACPI_INIT_GLOBAL(), applications need to
    link utglobal.o to utilize this mechanism.
 2. Initialize acpi_gbl_output_file to stdout.
    For GCC, assigning stdout to acpi_gbl_output_file using ACPI_INIT_GLOBAL()
    is not possible as stdout is not a constant in GCC environment. As an
    alternative solution, stdout assignment is put into acpi_os_initialize().
    Thus acpi_os_initialize() need to be invoked very early by the
    applications to initialize the default output of acpi_os_printf().

This patch also releases osunixxf.c to the Linux kernel. Lv Zheng.

Lv Zheng ae8ffc7dbb ACPICA: Utilities: Fix an issue with non-native ACPI_IS_PRINT()
An error was found in the ACPICA provided non-native ACPI_IS_PRINT() causing the

  The GNU libc isprint('\n') test result:
   isprint(0x20) is FALSE
  The Linux kernel isprint('\n') test result:

  The _acpi_ctype isprint('\n') test result:

The ACPI_IS_PRINT() macro generated for _acpi_ctype is wrong. It should use
_ACPI_XS instead of _ACPI_SP. _ACPI_XS is white space only. Other space
characters should be non printable.
