Arnd Bergmann 9ddc16ad8e MIPS: Update defconfigs for NF_CT_PROTO_DCCP/UDPLITE change
In linux-4.10-rc, NF_CT_PROTO_UDPLITE and NF_CT_PROTO_DCCP are bool
symbols instead of tristate, and kernelci.org reports a bunch of
warnings for this, like:

arch/mips/configs/malta_kvm_guest_defconfig:63:warning: symbol value 'm' invalid for NF_CT_PROTO_UDPLITE
arch/mips/configs/malta_defconfig:62:warning: symbol value 'm' invalid for NF_CT_PROTO_DCCP
arch/mips/configs/malta_defconfig:63:warning: symbol value 'm' invalid for NF_CT_PROTO_UDPLITE
arch/mips/configs/ip22_defconfig:70:warning: symbol value 'm' invalid for NF_CT_PROTO_DCCP
arch/mips/configs/ip22_defconfig:71:warning: symbol value 'm' invalid for NF_CT_PROTO_UDPLITE

This changes all the MIPS defconfigs with these symbols to have them
built-in.

Paul Burton 97af8e1cb3 MIPS: Malta: Probe pflash via DT
Add the DT nodes required to probe the CFI compatible parallel monitor
flash found on the Malta development board, and remove the platform
code that was previously doing it. Delete the now-empty malta-platform.c
file. Adjust the Malta defconfigs that enable MTD & the pflash/CFI
driver to enable CONFIG_MTD_PHYSMAP_OF rather than CONFIG_MTD_PHYSMAP in
order to preserve their behaviour.

Bartlomiej Zolnierkiewicz 91c6fbabae MIPS: malta_kvm_defconfig: Convert to use libata PATA drivers
IDE subsystem has been deprecated since 2009 and the majority
(if not all) of Linux distributions have switched to use
libata for ATA support exclusively. However there are still
some users (mostly old or/and embedded non-x86 systems) that
have not converted from using IDE subsystem to libata PATA
drivers. This doesn't seem to be good thing in the long-term
for Linux as while there is less and less PATA systems left
in use:

* testing efforts are divided between two subsystems

* having duplicate drivers for same hardware confuses users

This patch converts malta_kvm_defconfig to use libata PATA
drivers (tc86c001 IDE host driver has no corresponding libata
driver yet so it is not converted).

Michal Marek d1630f9ef2 mips: Set CONFIG_NET=y in defconfigs
Commit 5d6be6a5 ("scsi_netlink : Make SCSI_NETLINK dependent on NET
instead of selecting NET") removed what happened to be the only instance
of 'select NET'. Defconfigs that were relying on the select now lack
networking support.

Bart Van Assche aa3fc09078 tgt: defconfig cleanup
Because of the removal of the scsi_tgt kernel module, the kbuild variables
CONFIG_SCSI_TGT, CONFIG_SCSI_SRP_TGT_ATTRS and CONFIG_SCSI_FC_TGT_ATTRS
are obsolete. This patch removes these variables. This patch is the result
of the following command:

find -name '*defconfig' | while read f; do grep -vwE 'CONFIG_SCSI_TGT|CONFIG_SCSI_SRP_TGT_ATTRS|CONFIG_SCSI_FC_TGT_ATTRS|CONFIG_SRP' $f >/tmp/t && mv /tmp/t $f; done

Paul Burton 77908561a6 MIPS: Default NR_CPUS=8 for malta SMP defconfigs
The previous NR_CPUS=2 default is not an optimal default for current
Malta setups where it is common to have more than 2 CPUs available. It
makes sense to increase this to a number which covers all common setups
currently in use, such that all of those cores are usable. 8 seems to
fit that description.

If the user has less than 8 CPUs & they wish to have a more optimal
kernel they can simply reduce this in their config. It makes sense for
the default to work on as many systems as possible.

Paul Burton a86dc81288 MIPS: Regenerate malta defconfigs
This patch simply regenerates the malta defconfigs such that they don't
change after being used & saved as a defconfig again. ie. it is the
result of running the following:

for cfg in arch/mips/configs/malta*; do
	ARCH=mips make `basename ${cfg}`
	ARCH=mips make savedefconfig
	mv -v defconfig ${cfg}
done
