Jason Gunthorpe 16e7483e6f Merge branch 'dynamic_sg' into rdma.git for-next
From Maor Gottlieb says:

====================
This series extends __sg_alloc_table_from_pages to allow chaining of new
pages to an already initialized SG table.

This allows for drivers to utilize the optimization of merging contiguous
pages without a need to pre allocate all the pages and hold them in a very
large temporary buffer prior to the call to SG table initialization.

The last patch changes the Infiniband core to use the new API. It removes
duplicate functionality from the code and benefits from the optimization
of allocating dynamic SG table from pages.

In huge pages system of 2MB page size, without this change, the SG table
would contain x512 SG entries.

David S. Miller 3ab0a7a0c3 Merge git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/netdev/net
Two minor conflicts:

1) net/ipv4/route.c, adding a new local variable while
moving another local variable and removing it's
   initial assignment.

2) drivers/net/dsa/microchip/ksz9477.c, overlapping changes.
One pretty prints the port mode differently, whilst another
changes the driver to try and obtain the port mode from
the port node rather than the switch node.

Igor Russkikh 755f982bb1 qed/qede: make devlink survive recovery
Devlink instance lifecycle was linked to qed_dev object,
that caused devlink to be recreated on each recovery.

Changing it by making higher level driver (qede) responsible for its
life. This way devlink now survives recoveries.

qede now stores devlink structure pointer as a part of its device
object, devlink private data contains a linkage structure,
qed_devlink.

Alexander Lobakin bdb5d8ec47 qed, qede, qedf: convert link mode from u32 to ETHTOOL_LINK_MODE
Currently qed driver already ran out of 32 bits to store link modes,
and this doesn't allow to add and support more speeds.
Convert custom link mode to generic Ethtool bitmap and definitions
(convenient Phylink shorthands are used for elegance and readability).
This allowed us to drop all conversions/mappings between the driver
and Ethtool.

This involves changes in qede and qedf as well, as they used definitions
from shared "qed_if.h".

Alexander Lobakin 5ab903418a net: qed: sanitize BE/LE data processing
Current code assumes that both host and device operates in Little Endian
in lots of places. While this is true for x86 platform, this doesn't mean
we should not care about this.

This commit addresses all parts of the code that were pointed out by sparse
checker. All operations with restricted (__be*/__le*) types are now
protected with explicit from/to CPU conversions, even if they're noops on
common setups.

I'm sure there are more such places, but this implies a deeper code
investigation, and is a subject for future works.

Yuval Basson 8063f761cd qed: Fix use after free in qed_chain_free
The qed_chain data structure was modified in
commit 1a4a69751f ("qed: Chain support for external PBL") to support
receiving an external pbl (due to iWARP FW requirements).
The pages pointed to by the pbl are allocated in qed_chain_alloc
and their virtual address are stored in an virtual addresses array to
enable accessing and freeing the data. The physical addresses however
weren't stored and were accessed directly from the external-pbl
during free.

Destroy-qp flow, leads to freeing the external pbl before the chain is
freed, when the chain is freed it tries accessing the already freed
external pbl, leading to a use-after-free. Therefore we need to store
the physical addresses in additional to the virtual addresses in a
new data structure.

Michal Kalderon 997af5df23 qed: FW 8.42.2.0 Additional ll2 type
LL2 queues were a limited resource due to FW constraints.
This FW introduced a new resource which is a context based ll2 queue
(memory on host). The additional ll2 queues are required for RDMA SRIOV.
The code refers to the previous ll2 queues as ram-based or legacy, and the
new queues as ctx-based.
This change decreased the "legacy" ram-based queues therefore the first ll2
queue used for iWARP was converted to the ctx-based ll2 queue.
This feature also exposed a bug in the DIRECT_REG_WR64 macro implementation
which didn't have an effect in other use cases.
