New SoCs/platforms:
- Raspberry Pi Compute Module (CM1) and IO board
- i.MX6SSL from NXP
- Renesas RZ/N1D SoC (R9A06G032), Dual Cortex-A7 with Ethernet, CAN and
PLC interfaces
- TI AM654 SoC, Quad Cortex-A53, safety subsystem with Cortex-R5
controllers, communication and PRU subsystem and lots of other

'interrupt-parent' is often documented as part of define bindings, but
it is really outside the scope of a device binding. It's never required
in a given node as it is often inherited from a parent node. Or it can
be implicit if a parent node is an 'interrupt-controller' node. So
remove it from all the binding files.

Devicetree-enabled boards should use proper regulators to control the
power of cards, not GPIOs, so let's remove this property. The regulator
properties are supported by the MMC core and are described in the
generic MMC document:
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/mmc/mmc.txt
Note that devicetree support for PXA platforms hasn't fully landed yet,
so this binding does not have any users at this point.

Call into mmc_of_parse() from pxamci_of_init(). As it needs a pointer to a
struct mmc_host, refactor the code a bit.
This allows all generic MMC properties to be set that are described in
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/mmc/mmc.txt. Reword the documentation
a bit to make that clear.
The "cd" and "wp" gpio lookups are removed as the lookup will now be
done by mmc_of_parse().

Some controllers immediately report that their internal clock is stable

- Sync dtc to upstream version v1.4.6-9-gaadd0b65c987. This adds a
bunch more warnings (hidden behind W=1).
- Build dtc lexer and parser files instead of using shipped versions.
- Rework overlay apply API to take an FDT as input and apply overlays
in a single step.
- Add a phandle lookup cache. This improves boot time by hundreds of
msec on systems with large DT.
- Add trivial mcp4017/18/19 potentiometers bindings.
- Remove VLA stack usage in DT code.

The TMIO MMC core calls mmc_of_parse(), and it sets
MMC_CAP2_NO_WRITE_PROTECT if "disable-wp" property is present.
We do not need a vendor-specific property to do the same thing.

Add fallback compatibility strings for R-Car Gen 1, 2 and 3.
In the case of Renesas R-Car hardware we know that there are generations of
SoCs, f.e. Gen 1 and 2. But beyond that its not clear what the relationship
between IP blocks might be. For example, I believe that r8a7790 is older
than r8a7791 but that doesn't imply that the latter is a descendant of the
former or vice versa.
We can, however, by examining the documentation and behaviour of the
hardware at run-time observe that the current driver implementation appears
to be compatible with the IP blocks on SoCs within a given generation.
For the above reasons and convenience when enabling new SoCs a
per-generation fallback compatibility string scheme is being adopted for
drivers for Renesas SoCs.

This documents the devicetree bindings for the SDIO/MMC host found in
Amlogic Meson8 and Meson8b SoCs. It supports the SD specification v2.0
and the eMMC specification v4.41.
It has an internal "mux" which allows connecting up to three MMC devices
to it. The maximum supported bus-width is 4-bits.
Amlogic's GPL kernel sources call it "SDIO" to differentiate it from the
other MMC controller in (at least the Meson8 and Meson8b) the SoCs (they
call the other one "SDHC", which supports a bus-width of up to 8-bits).

On Armada 7K/8K we need to explicitly enable the bus clock. The bus clock
is optional because not all the SoCs need them but at least for Armada
7K/8K it is actually mandatory.
The binding documentation is updating accordingly.
Without this patch the kernel hand during boot if the mvpp2.2 network
