Use the DEFINE_RUNTIME_DEV_PM_OPS(), SYSTEM_SLEEP_PM_OPS(),
RUNTIME_PM_OPS() and pm_ptr() macros to handle the runtime and suspend
PM callbacks.
These macros allow the suspend and resume functions to be automatically
dropped by the compiler when CONFIG_PM is disabled, without having
to use #ifdef guards.
This has the advantage of always compiling these functions in,
independently of any Kconfig option. Thanks to that, bugs and other
regressions are subsequently easier to catch.

pm_runtime_resume_and_get() function decreases the usage counter

The Documentation/DMA-API-HOWTO.txt states that the dma_map_sg() function
returns the number of the created entries in the DMA address space.
However the subsequent calls to the dma_sync_sg_for_{device,cpu}() and
dma_unmap_sg must be called with the original number of the entries
passed to the dma_map_sg().
struct sg_table is a common structure used for describing a non-contiguous
memory buffer, used commonly in the DRM and graphics subsystems. It
consists of a scatterlist with memory pages and DMA addresses (sgl entry),
as well as the number of scatterlist entries: CPU pages (orig_nents entry)
and DMA mapped pages (nents entry).
It turned out that it was a common mistake to misuse nents and orig_nents
entries, calling DMA-mapping functions with a wrong number of entries or
ignoring the number of mapped entries returned by the dma_map_sg()
function.
To avoid such issues, lets use a common dma-mapping wrappers operating
directly on the struct sg_table objects and use scatterlist page
iterators where possible. This, almost always, hides references to the
nents and orig_nents entries, making the code robust, easier to follow
and copy/paste safe.

The exynos DRM driver uses real-time 'struct timeval' values
for exporting its timestamps to user space. This has multiple
problems:
1. signed seconds overflow in y2038
2. the 'struct timeval' definition is deprecated in the kernel
3. time may jump or go backwards after a 'settimeofday()' syscall
4. other DRM timestamps are in CLOCK_MONOTONIC domain, so they
can't be compared
5. exporting microseconds requires a division by 1000, which may
be slow on some architectures.
The code existed in two places before, but the IPP portion was
removed in 8ded59413c ("drm/exynos: ipp: Remove Exynos DRM
IPP subsystem"), so we no longer need to worry about it.
Ideally timestamps should just use 64-bit nanoseconds instead, but
of course we can't change that now. Instead, this tries to address
the first four points above by using monotonic 'timespec' values.
According to Tobias Jakobi, user space doesn't care about the
timestamp at the moment, so we can change the format. Even if
there is something looking at them, it will work just fine with
monotonic times as long as the application only looks at the
relative values between two events.

The size computations done in the ioctl function use an integer.
If userspace submits a request with req->cmd_nr or req->cmd_buf_nr
set to INT_MAX, the integer computations overflow later, leading
to potential (kernel) memory corruption.
Prevent this issue by enforcing a limit on the number of submitted
commands, so that we have enough headroom later for the size
computations.
Note that this change has no impact on the currently available
users in userspace, like e.g. libdrm/exynos.
While at it, also make a comment about the size computation more

The runqueue worker currently issues a get() when a new
node is processed, and a put() once a node is completed.
The corresponding suspend and resume calls currently only
do clock gating, but with the upcoming introduction of
IOMMU runpm also the corresponding IOMMU domain gets
enabled (for get()) and disabled (for put()). This
introduces performance regressions with we mitigate here.

This reverts commit b05984e21a.
The change, i.e. merging the sleep and runpm operations, produces
a deadlock situation:
(1) exynos_g2d_exec_ioctl() prepares a runqueue node and
calls g2d_exec_runqueue()
(2) g2d_exec_runqueue() calls g2d_dma_start() which gets
runtime PM sync
(3) runtime PM core calls g2d_runtime_resume()
(4) g2d_runtime_resume() calls g2d_exec_runqueue(), which
loops back to (2)

The dma-mapping core and the implementations do not change the DMA
attributes passed by pointer. Thus the pointer can point to const data.
However the attributes do not have to be a bitfield. Instead unsigned
long will do fine:
1. This is just simpler. Both in terms of reading the code and setting
attributes. Instead of initializing local attributes on the stack
and passing pointer to it to dma_set_attr(), just set the bits.
2. It brings safeness and checking for const correctness because the
attributes are passed by value.

directly DMA mapping APIs and remove the wapper functions.

This patch changes device pointer provided to all calls to DMA-mapping
subsystem from the virtual exynos-drm 'device' to the real device pointer
of one of the CRTC devices (decon, fimd or mixer). This way no more hacks
will be needed to configure proper DMA-mapping address space on the common
virtual exynos-drm device. This change also removes the need for some
hacks in IOMMU related code. It also finally solves the problem of Exynos
DRM driver not working on ARM64 architecture, which provides noop-based
DMA-mapping operations for virtual platform devices.

Use them in the core vblank code and exynos/vmwgfx drivers.
Note that the difference between wake_up_all and _interruptible in
vmwgfx doesn't matter since the only waiter is the core code in
drm_fops.c. And that is interruptible.
v2: Adjust existing kerneldoc too.

Also fixes a bug in IPP with not correctly checking/allocating for
space in the event space. Not a too serious bug since it's not a
real ringbuffer, just a limit to avoid too much kernel allocations.

The size check was incomplete. It only computed the
size of area of the drawing rectangle and checked if
the size still fit inside the buffer.
The correct check is to compute the position of the
last byte that the G2D engine is going to access and
then check if that position is still contained in the
buffer. In particular we need the stride information
to determine this.

Convert g2d_userptr_get_dma_addr() to pin pages using get_vaddr_frames().
This removes the knowledge about vmas and mmap_sem locking from exynos
driver. Also it fixes a problem that the function has been mapping user
provided address without holding mmap_sem.

After commit b2b49ccbdd (PM: Kconfig: Set PM_RUNTIME if PM_SLEEP is

depending on CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME may now be changed to depend on
CONFIG_PM.
Replace CONFIG_PM_RUNTIME with CONFIG_PM in 4 files under

This patch fixes a null pointer dereference issue incurred by
calling g2d_remove when exynos_drm_platform_probe is failed.
cmdlist_pool of g2d is allocated when g2d sub driver is probed.
So if exynos_drm_platform_probe is failed, the g2d sub driver is
not probed and the cmdlist_pool is still NULL.
