Patrick McHardy f0e48dbfc5 [TCP]: Honour sk_bound_dev_if in tcp_v4_send_ack
A time_wait socket inherits sk_bound_dev_if from the original socket,
but it is not used when sending ACK packets using ip_send_reply.

Fix by passing the oif to ip_send_reply in struct ip_reply_arg and
use it for output routing.

Herbert Xu 5e0f04351d [IPV4]: Consolidate common SNMP code
This patch moves the SNMP code shared between IPv4/IPv6 from proc.c
into net/ipv4/af_inet.c. This makes sense because these functions
aren't specific to /proc.

As a result we can again skip proc.o if /proc is disabled.

Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo c9bdd4b525 [IP]: Introduce ip_hdrlen()
For the common sequence "skb->nh.iph->ihl * 4", removing a good number of open
coded skb->nh.iph uses, now to go after the rest...

Just out of curiosity, here are the idioms found to get the same result:

skb->nh.iph->ihl << 2
skb->nh.iph->ihl<<2
skb->nh.iph->ihl * 4
skb->nh.iph->ihl*4
(skb->nh.iph)->ihl * sizeof(u32)

David S. Miller e89862f4c5 [TCP]: Restore SKB socket owner setting in tcp_transmit_skb().
Revert 931731123a

We can't elide the skb_set_owner_w() here because things like certain
netfilter targets (such as owner MATCH) need a socket to be set on the
SKB for correct operation.

Thanks to Jan Engelhardt and other netfilter list members for
pointing this out.

Patrick McHardy 2e2f7aefa8 [NETFILTER]: Fix fragmentation issues with bridge netfilter
The conntrack code doesn't do re-fragmentation of defragmented packets
anymore but relies on fragmentation in the IP layer. Purely bridged
packets don't pass through the IP layer, so the bridge netfilter code
needs to take care of fragmentation itself.

Patrick McHardy 48d5cad87c [XFRM]: Fix SNAT-related crash in xfrm4_output_finish
When a packet matching an IPsec policy is SNATed so it doesn't match any
policy anymore it looses its xfrm bundle, which makes xfrm4_output_finish
crash because of a NULL pointer dereference.

This patch directs these packets to the original output path instead. Since
the packets have already passed the POST_ROUTING hook, but need to start at
the beginning of the original output path which includes another
POST_ROUTING invocation, a flag is added to the IPCB to indicate that the
packet was rerouted and doesn't need to pass the POST_ROUTING hook again.

Patrick McHardy 3e3850e989 [NETFILTER]: Fix xfrm lookup in ip_route_me_harder/ip6_route_me_harder
ip_route_me_harder doesn't use the port numbers of the xfrm lookup and
uses ip_route_input for non-local addresses which doesn't do a xfrm
lookup, ip6_route_me_harder doesn't do a xfrm lookup at all.

Use xfrm_decode_session and do the lookup manually, make sure both
only do the lookup if the packet hasn't been transformed already.

Makeing sure the lookup only happens once needs a new field in the
IP6CB, which exceeds the size of skb->cb. The size of skb->cb is
increased to 48b. Apparently the IPv6 mobile extensions need some
more room anyway.

Call POST_ROUTING hook before fragmentation to get rid of the okfn use
in ip_refrag and save the useless fragmentation/defragmentation step

The patch introduces one user-visible change, the POSTROUTING chain

simplify use of the MARK and CLASSIFY targets for queueing as a nice
side-effect.

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history,
even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git
archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about
3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early
git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good
infrastructure for it.

Let it rip!
