Johannes Berg 2ff6a6d4e9 mac80211: fix mesh action frame handling
When I split off the action frame handling I made the code drop
all action frames we don't want to handle. This is wrong since
some action frames are actually handled via rx_h_mgmt through
being queued to the sta/mesh implementations.

Thanks to Li YanBo for noticing the problem.

YanBo 79617deeeb mac80211: mesh portal functionality support
Currently the mesh code doesn't support bridging mesh point interfaces
with wired ethernet or AP to construct an MPP or MAP. This patch adds
code to support the "6 address frame format packet" functionality to
mesh point interfaces. Now the mesh network can be used as backhaul
for end to end communication.

Emmanuel Grumbach 42eb7c644a iwlwifi: remove HT flags from RXON when not in HT anymore
This patch removes the HT flags from RXON when moving from HT to legacy.
This avoids keeping those flags set and possibly miss configuring firmware.

If we are configured in HT, fat channel: channel 1 above, and move later
to legacy channel 11, we need to clear the FAT channel control flags in
RXON. If we don't, the firmware will understand this as channel 11 above
which is not possible due to regulatory constraints, leading to firmware
crash.

Johannes Berg 133b822638 mac80211: make master iface not wireless
There's no need to register the master netdev with cfg80211,
in fact, this is quite dangerous and lead to having to add
checks for the master interface all over the config handlers.
This patch removes the "ieee80211_ptr" from the master iface
in favour of having a small netdev_priv() associated with
the master interface that stores the ieee80211_local pointer.
Because of this, a lot of code in the configuration handlers
can go away. To make this patch easier to verify I have also
removed a number of wiphy_priv() calls in favour of getting
the sdata first and then the local pointer from that.

David Kilroy 9930ccee16 wireless: Read scan flags correctly on x86-64
The SIOCSIWSCAN handler is passed data in an iw_point structure. Some
drivers erronously use an iw_param instead.

On 32 bit architectures the difference isn't noticed as the flags
parameter tends to be the only one used by scan handlers and is at the
same offset.

On 64 bit architectures the pointer in the iw_point structure means the
flag parameter is at different offsets in these structures.

Thanks to Jean Tourrilhes for tracking this down for orinoco, and Pavel
Roskin for confirming the fix and identifying other suspect handlers.

Jack Tan 5291925a9a [MIPS] Fixe the definition of PTRS_PER_PGD
When we use > 4KB's page size the original definition is not consistent
with PGDIR_SIZE. For exeample, if we use 16KB page size the PGDIR_SHIFT is
(14-2) + 14 = 26, PGDIR_SIZE is 2^26,so the PTRS_PER_PGD should be:

	2^32/2^26 = 2^6

but the original definition of PTRS_PER_PGD is 4096 (PGDIR_ORDER = 0).

So, this definition needs to be consistent with the PGDIR_SIZE.

And the new definition is consistent with the PGD init in pagetable_init().

Alan Stern 5257d97a21 USB: revert recovery from transient errors
This patch (as1135) essentially reverts the major parts of two earlier
patches to usbcore, because they ended up causing a regression.

Trying to recover from transient communication errors can lead to
other problems, because operations that failed during the error period
are not always retried. The simplest example is the initial
Set-Config request sent after device enumeration; if it gets lost then
it will not be retried and the device will remain unconfigured.

This patch restores the old behavior in which any port disconnect or
port disable causes the entire device structure to be removed, fixing a
reported regression.

Chris Adams 2bcbe4c199 usb serial: ti_usb_3410_5052 obviously broken by firmware changes
While making some other changes to ti_usb_3410_5052, I noticed that the
changes made to move the firmware loading to a separate function are
broken (in ti_download_firmware(), status is set to -ENOMEM and never
changed). This means the driver will never initialize the device
properly. It looks like status was supposed to get the result of
ti_do_download().

David Brownell 01c1714265 USB: fix EHCI periodic transfers
As noted by Stefan Neis <Stefan.Neis@kobil.com>, we had a recent
regression with EHCI periodic transfers, in some (seemingly not
all that common) cases.

The root cause was that the schedule activation was only loosely
coupled to the addition or removal of transfers, so two different
execution contexts could both think they had to deactivate (or
conversely activate) the schedule. So this fix tightens that
coupling, managing it more like a refcount.
