Florian Fainelli 31bc72d976 net: systemport: fetch and use clock resources
We disable clocks shortly after probing the device to save as much power as
possible in case the interface is never used. When bcm_sysport_open() is
invoked, clocks are enabled, and disabled in bcm_sysport_stop().

A similar scheme is applied to the suspend/resume functions.

Michael Chan 556699341e tg3: Fix soft lockup when tg3_reset_task() fails.
If tg3_reset_task() fails, the device state is left in an inconsistent
state with IFF_RUNNING still set but NAPI state not enabled.  A
subsequent operation, such as ifdown or AER error can cause it to
soft lock up when it tries to disable NAPI state.

Fix it by bringing down the device to !IFF_RUNNING state when
tg3_reset_task() fails.  tg3_reset_task() running from workqueue
will now call tg3_close() when the reset fails.  We need to
modify tg3_reset_task_cancel() slightly to avoid tg3_close()
calling cancel_work_sync() to cancel tg3_reset_task().  Otherwise
cancel_work_sync() will wait forever for tg3_reset_task() to
finish.

Michael Chan b43b9f53fb bnxt_en: Setup default RSS map in all scenarios.
The recent changes to support user-defined RSS map assume that RX
rings are always reserved and the default RSS map is set after the
RX rings are successfully reserved.  If the firmware spec is older
than 1.6.1, no ring reservations are required and the default RSS
map is not setup at all.  In another scenario where the fw Resource
Manager is older, RX rings are not reserved and we also end up with
no valid RSS map.

Fix both issues in bnxt_need_reserve_rings().  In both scenarios
described above, we don't need to reserve RX rings so we need to
call this new function bnxt_check_rss_map_no_rmgr() to setup the
default RSS map when needed.

Without valid RSS map, the NIC won't receive packets properly.

Edwin Peer 5fa65524f6 bnxt_en: init RSS table for Minimal-Static VF reservation
There are no VF rings available during probe when the device is configured
using the Minimal-Static reservation strategy. In this case, the RSS
indirection table can only be initialized later, during bnxt_open_nic().
However, this was not happening because the rings will already have been
reserved via bnxt_init_dflt_ring_mode(), causing bnxt_need_reserve_rings()
to return false in bnxt_reserve_rings() and bypass the RSS table init.

Solve this by pushing the call to bnxt_set_dflt_rss_indir_tbl() into
__bnxt_reserve_rings(), which is common to both paths and is called
whenever ring configuration is changed. After doing this, the RSS table
init that must be called from bnxt_init_one() happens implicitly via
bnxt_set_default_rings(), necessitating doing the allocation earlier in
order to avoid a null pointer dereference.

Edwin Peer 12cce90b93 bnxt_en: fix HWRM error when querying VF temperature
Firmware returns RESOURCE_ACCESS_DENIED for HWRM_TEMP_MONITORY_QUERY for
VFs. This produces unpleasing error messages in the log when temp1_input
is queried via the hwmon sysfs interface from a VF.

The error is harmless and expected, so silence it and return unknown as
the value. Since the device temperature is not particularly sensitive
information, provide flexibility to change this policy in future by
silencing the error rather than avoiding the HWRM call entirely for VFs.

Michael Chan b148bb238c bnxt_en: Fix possible crash in bnxt_fw_reset_task().
bnxt_fw_reset_task() is run from a delayed workqueue.  The current
code is not cancelling the workqueue in the driver's .remove()
method and it can potentially crash if the device is removed with
the workqueue still pending.

The fix is to clear the BNXT_STATE_IN_FW_RESET flag and then cancel
the delayed workqueue in bnxt_remove_one().  bnxt_queue_fw_reset_work()
also needs to check that this flag is set before scheduling.  This
will guarantee that no rescheduling will be done after it is cancelled.

Michael Chan 7de651490c bnxt_en: Fix ethtool -S statitics with XDP or TCs enabled.
We are returning the wrong count for ETH_SS_STATS in get_sset_count()
when XDP or TCs are enabled.  In a recent commit, we got rid of
irrelevant counters when the ring is RX only or TX only, but we
did not make the proper adjustments for the count.  As a result,
when we have XDP or TCs enabled, we are returning an excess count
because some of the rings are TX only.  This causes ethtool -S to
display extra counters with no counter names.

Fix bnxt_get_num_ring_stats() by not assuming that all rings will
always have RX and TX counters in combined mode.

Pavan Chebbi c1c2d77408 bnxt_en: Don't query FW when netif_running() is false.
In rare conditions like two stage OS installation, the
ethtool's get_channels function may be called when the
device is in D3 state, leading to uncorrectable PCI error.
Check netif_running() first before making any query to FW

A chip bug was also discovered that could cause some ring counters to
become 0 during DMA.  Workaround by ignoring zeros on the affected
chips.

Some older frimware will reset port counters during ifdown.  We need
to check for that and free the accumulated port counters during ifdown
to prevent bogus counter overflow detection during ifup.

Some of these DMAed hardware counters are not full 64-bit counters and
so we need to accumulate them as they overflow.  Allocate copies of these
DMA statistics memory blocks with the same size for accumulation.  The

memory for masks that correspond to each counter.

Main changes are 200G support and fixing the definitions of discard and
error counters to match the hardware definitions.

Because the HWRM_PORT_PHY_QCFG message size has now exceeded the max.
encapsulated response message size of 96 bytes from the PF to the VF,
we now need to cap this message to 96 bytes for forwarding.  The forwarded
response only needs to contain the basic link status and speed information
and can be capped without adding the new information.

Andrii Nakryiko e8407fdeb9 bpf, xdp: Remove XDP_QUERY_PROG and XDP_QUERY_PROG_HW XDP commands
Now that BPF program/link management is centralized in generic net_device
code, kernel code never queries program id from drivers, so
XDP_QUERY_PROG/XDP_QUERY_PROG_HW commands are unnecessary.

This patch removes all the implementations of those commands in kernel, along
the xdp_attachment_query().

This patch was compile-tested on allyesconfig.

The UDP reuseport conflict was a little bit tricky.

The net-next code, via bpf-next, extracted the reuseport handling
into a helper so that the BPF sk lookup code could invoke it.

At the same time, the logic for reuseport handling of unconnected
sockets changed via commit efc6b6f6c3
which changed the logic to carry on the reuseport result into the
rest of the lookup loop if we do not return immediately.

This requires moving the reuseport_has_conns() logic into the callers.

While we are here, get rid of inline directives as they do not belong
in foo.c files.

The other changes were cases of more straightforward overlapping
modifications.

Jakub Kicinski 18c7015cc6 net: bnxt: don't complain if TC flower can't be supported
The fact that NETIF_F_HW_TC is not set should be a sufficient
indication to the user that TC offloads are not supported.
No need to bother users of older firmware versions with
pointless warnings on every boot.

Also, since the support is optional, bnxt_init_tc() should not
return an error in case FW is old, similarly to how error
is not returned when CONFIG_BNXT_FLOWER_OFFLOAD is not set.

With that we can add an error message to the caller, to warn
about actual unexpected failures.

Doug Berger a8c64542b4 net: bcmgenet: restore HFB filters on resume
The Hardware Filter Block RAM may not be preserved when the GENET
block is reset during a deep sleep, so it is not sufficient to
only backup and restore the enables.

This commit clears out the HFB block and reprograms the rxnfc
rules when the system resumes from a suspended state. To support
this the bcmgenet_hfb_create_rxnfc_filter() function is modified
to access the register space directly so that it can't fail due
to memory allocation issues.

Kees Cook 3f649ab728 treewide: Remove uninitialized_var() usage
Using uninitialized_var() is dangerous as it papers over real bugs[1]
(or can in the future), and suppresses unrelated compiler warnings
(e.g. "unused variable"). If the compiler thinks it is uninitialized,
either simply initialize the variable or make compiler changes.

In preparation for removing[2] the[3] macro[4], remove all remaining
needless uses with the following script:

Petr Machata c40f4e50b6 net: sched: Pass qdisc reference in struct flow_block_offload
Previously, shared blocks were only relevant for the pseudo-qdiscs ingress
and clsact. Recently, a qevent facility was introduced, which allows to
bind blocks to well-defined slots of a qdisc instance. RED in particular
got two qevents: early_drop and mark. Drivers that wish to offload these
blocks will be sent the usual notification, and need to know which qdisc it
is related to.

To that end, extend flow_block_offload with a "sch" pointer, and initialize
as appropriate. This prompts changes in the indirect block facility, which
now tracks the scheduler in addition to the netdevice. Update signatures of
several functions similarly.

Michael Chan 27640ce68d bnxt_en: Fix completion ring sizing with TPA enabled.
The current completion ring sizing formula is wrong with TPA enabled.
The formula assumes that the number of TPA completions are bound by the
RX ring size, but that's not true.  TPA_START completions are immediately
recycled so they are not bound by the RX ring size.  We must add
bp->max_tpa to the worst case maximum RX and TPA completions.

The completion ring can overflow because of this mistake.  This will
cause hardware to disable the completion ring when this happens,
leading to RX and TX traffic to stall on that ring.  This issue is
generally exposed only when the RX ring size is set very small.

Fix the formula by adding bp->max_tpa to the number of RX completions
if TPA is enabled.

Colin Ian King e3cbdaf146 net: systemport: fix double shift of a vlan_tci by VLAN_PRIO_SHIFT
Currently the u16 skb->vlan_tci is being right  shifted twice by
VLAN_PRIO_SHIFT, once in the macro skb_vlan_tag_get_pri and explicitly
by VLAN_PRIO_SHIFT afterwards. The combined shift amount is larger than
the u16 so the end result is always zero.  Remove the second explicit
shift as this is extraneous.

The hardware VLAN offload feature on our NIC does not have separate
knobs for handling customer and service tags on RX. Either offloading
of both must be enabled or both must be disabled. Introduce definitions
for the combined feature set in order to clean up the code and make
this constraint more clear. Technically these features can be separately
enabled on TX, however, since the default is to turn both on, the
combined TX feature set is also introduced for code consistency.

Michael Chan bd3191b5d8 bnxt_en: Implement ethtool -X to set indirection table.
With the new infrastructure in place, we can now support the setting of
the indirection table from ethtool.

When changing channels, in a rare case that firmware cannot reserve the
rings that were promised, we will still try to keep the RSS map and only
revert to default when absolutely necessary.

v4: Revert RSS map to default during ring change only when absolutely
    necessary.

v3: Add warning messages when firmware cannot reserve the requested RX
    rings, and when the RSS table entries have to change to default.

v2: When changing channels, if the RSS table size changes and RSS map

Now that we have the logical table, we can fill the HW RSS table
using the logical table's entries and converting them to the HW
specific format.  Re-initialize the logical table to standard

Michael Chan 1667cbf6a4 bnxt_en: Add logical RSS indirection table structure.
The driver currently does not keep track of the logical RSS indirection
table.  The hardware RSS table is set up with standard default ring
distribution when initializing the chip.  This makes it difficult to
support user sepcified indirection table entries.  As a first step, add
the logical table in the main bnxt structure and allocate it according
to chip specific table size.  Add a function that sets up default
RSS distribution based on the number of RX rings.

Currently, we allocate one page for the hardware DMA RSS indirection
table.  While the size is currently big enough for all chips, future
chip variations may support bigger sizes, so it is better to calculate

Vaibhav Gupta 4ced637bd2 bnx2x: use generic power management
With legacy PM, drivers themselves were responsible for managing the
device's power states and takes care of register states.

After upgrading to the generic structure, PCI core will take care of
required tasks and drivers should do only device-specific operations.

The driver was also calling bnx2x_set_power_state() to set the power state
of the device by changing the device's registers' value. It is no more
needed.

Doug Berger 20d1f2d1b0 net: bcmgenet: use hardware padding of runt frames
When commit 474ea9cafc ("net: bcmgenet: correctly pad short
packets") added the call to skb_padto() it should have been
located before the nr_frags parameter was read since that value
could be changed when padding packets with lengths between 55
and 59 bytes (inclusive).

The use of a stale nr_frags value can cause corruption of the
pad data when tx-scatter-gather is enabled. This corruption of
the pad can cause invalid checksum computation when hardware
offload of tx-checksum is also enabled.

Since the original reason for the padding was corrected by
commit 7dd399130e ("net: bcmgenet: fix skb_len in
bcmgenet_xmit_single()") we can remove the software padding all
together and make use of hardware padding of short frames as
long as the hardware also always appends the FCS value to the
frame.

Doug Berger 673bafd5b8 net: bcmgenet: re-remove bcmgenet_hfb_add_filter
This function was originally removed by Baoyou Xie in
commit e2072600a2 ("net: bcmgenet: remove unused function in
bcmgenet.c") to prevent a build warning.

Some of the functions removed by Baoyou Xie are now used for
WAKE_FILTER support so his commit was reverted, but this function
is still unused and the kbuild test robot dutifully reported the
warning.

This commit once again removes the remaining unused hfb functions.

Michael Chan c2dec363fe bnxt_en: Fix statistics counters issue during ifdown with older firmware.
On older firmware, the hardware statistics are not cleared when the
driver frees the hardware stats contexts during ifdown.  The driver
expects these stats to be cleared and saves a copy before freeing
the stats contexts.  During the next ifup, the driver will likely
allocate the same hardware stats contexts and this will cause a big
increase in the counters as the old counters are added back to the
saved counters.

We fix it by making an additional firmware call to clear the counters
before freeing the hw stats contexts when the firmware is the older
20.x firmware.

We currently only store the firmware version as a string for ethtool
and devlink info.  Store it also as a version code.  The next 2
patches will need to check the firmware major version to determine
some workarounds.

We also use the 16-bit firmware version fields if the firmware is newer

If the representor is removed, then identify the indirect flow_blocks
that need to be removed by the release callback and the port representor
structure. To identify the port representor structure, a new

Po Liu 4b61d3e8d3 net: qos offload add flow status with dropped count
This patch adds a drop frames counter to tc flower offloading.
Reporting h/w dropped frames is necessary for some actions.
Some actions like police action and the coming introduced stream gate
action would produce dropped frames which is necessary for user. Status
update shows how many filtered packets increasing and how many dropped
in those packets.

The driver function tg3_io_error_detected() calls napi_disable twice,
without an intervening napi_enable, when the number of EEH errors exceeds
eeh_max_freezes, resulting in an indefinite sleep while holding rtnl_lock.

Add check for pcierr_recovery which skips code already executed for the
"Frozen" state.

the ESWITCH dependency by one level of indirection which is
what the 'net' conflicting change is trying to ensure.

Michael Chan b8056e8434 bnxt_en: Fix accumulation of bp->net_stats_prev.
We have logic to maintain network counters across resets by storing
the counters in bp->net_stats_prev before reset.  But not all resets
will clear the counters.  Certain resets that don't need to change
the number of rings do not clear the counters.  The current logic
accumulates the counters before all resets, causing big jumps in
the counters after some resets, such as ethtool -G.

Fix it by only accumulating the counters during reset if the irq_re_init
parameter is set.  The parameter signifies that all rings and interrupts
will be reset and that means that the counters will also be reset.

Eric Dumazet 880f8f99d1 bnx2x: allow bnx2x_bsc_read() to schedule
bnx2x_warpcore_read_sfp_module_eeprom() can call bnx2x_bsc_read()
three times before giving up.

This causes latency blips of at least 31 ms (58 ms being reported
by our teams)

Convert the long lasting loops of udelay() to usleep_range() ones,
and breaks the loops on precise time tracking.

Dejin Zheng 755f5738ff net: broadcom: fix a mistake about ioremap resource
Commit d7a5502b0b ("net: broadcom: convert to
devm_platform_ioremap_resource_byname()") will broke this driver.
idm_base and nicpm_base were optional, after this change, they are
mandatory. it will probe fails with -22 when the dtb doesn't have them
defined. so revert part of this commit and make idm_base and nicpm_base
as optional.

Rajesh Ravi 125592fbf4 bnxt_en: show only relevant ethtool stats for a TX or RX ring
Currently, ethtool -S shows all TX/RX ring counters whether the
channel is combined, RX, or TX.  The unused counters will always be
zero.  Improve it by showing only the relevant counters if the channel
is RX or TX.  If the channel is combined, the counters will be shown
exactly the same as before.

Michael Chan 098286ff93 bnxt_en: Add doorbell information to bnxt_en_dev struct.
The purpose of this is to inform the RDMA driver the size of the doorbell
BAR that the L2 driver has mapped and the portion that is mapped
uncacheable.  The unchaeable portion is shared with the RoCE driver.
Any remaining unmapped doorbell BAR can be used by the RDMA driver for
its own purpose.  Currently, the entire L2 portion is mapped uncacheable.

Read the L2 doorbell size from the firmware and only map the portion
of the doorbell BAR for L2 use.  This will leave the remaining doorbell

Michael Chan e93b30d56f bnxt_en: Set the db_offset on 57500 chips for the RDMA MSIX entries.
The driver provides completion ring or NQ doorbell offset for each
MSIX entry requested by the RDMA driver.  The NQ offset on 57500
chips is different than legacy chips.  Set it correctly based on
chip type for correctness.  The RDMA driver is ignoring this field
for the 57500 chips so it is not causing any problem.

Edwin Peer 7a13240e37 bnxt_en: fix ethtool_reset_flags ABI violations
The ethtool ABI specifies that the reset operation should only clear
the flags that were actually reset. Setting the flags to zero after
a chip reset violates this because it does not include resetting the
application processor complex. Similarly, components that are not yet
defined are also not necessarily being reset.

The fact that chip reset does not cover the AP also means that it is
inappropriate to treat these two components exclusively of one another.
The ABI provides a mechanism to report a failure to reset independent
components via the returned bitmask, so it is also wrong to fail hard
if one of a set of independent resets is not possible.

It is incorrect to rely on the passed by reference flags in bnxt_reset(),
which are being updated as components are reset. The initially requested
value should be used instead so that hard errors do not propagate if any
earlier components could have been reset successfully.

Note, AP and chip resets are global in nature. Dedicated resets are
thus not currently supported.

Doug Berger eb236c2994 net: bcmgenet: Move wake-up event out of side band ISR
The side band interrupt service routine is not available on chips
like 7211, or rather, it does not permit the signaling of wake-up
events due to the complex interrupt hierarchy.

Move the wake-up event accounting into a .resume_noirq function,
account for possible wake-up events and clear the MPD/HFB interrupts
from there, while leaving the hardware untouched until the resume
function proceeds with doing its usual business.

Because bcmgenet_wol_power_down_cfg() now enables the MPD and HFB
interrupts, it is invoked by a .suspend_noirq function to prevent
the servicing of interrupts after the clocks have been disabled.

This commit enables support for the WAKE_FILTER method of Wake on
LAN for the GENET driver. The method can be enabled by adding 'f'
to the interface 'wol' setting specified by ethtool.

Rx network flow rules can be specified using ethtool. Rules that
define a flow-type with the RX_CLS_FLOW_WAKE action (i.e. -2) can
wake the system from the 'standby' power state when the WAKE_FILTER
WoL method is enabled.

Doug Berger 1a1d5106c1 net: bcmgenet: move clk_wol management to bcmgenet_wol
The GENET_POWER_WOL_MAGIC power up and power down code configures
the device for WoL when suspending and disables the WoL logic when
resuming. It makes sense that this code should also manage the WoL
clocking.

This commit consolidates the logic and moves it earlier in the
resume sequence.

Since the clock is now only enabled if WoL is successfully entered
the wol_active flag is introduced to track that state to keep the
clock enables and disables balanced in case a suspend is aborted.
The MPD_EN hardware bit can't be used because it can be cleared
when the MAC is reset by a deep sleep.

Doug Berger 6f7689057a net: bcmgenet: Fix WoL with password after deep sleep
Broadcom STB chips support a deep sleep mode where all register contents
are lost. Because we were stashing the MagicPacket password into some of
these registers a suspend into that deep sleep then a resumption would
not lead to being able to wake-up from MagicPacket with password again.

Fix this by keeping a software copy of the password and program it
during suspend.

This commit explicitly calls the bcmgenet_set_rx_mode() function when
the network interface is started. This function is normally called by
ndo_set_rx_mode when the flags are changed, but apparently not when

properly restored by the driver after the MAC may have been reset.

Vasundhara Volam 9e68cb0359 bnxt_en: Reduce BNXT_MSIX_VEC_MAX value to supported CQs per PF.
Broadcom adapters support only maximum of 512 CQs per PF. If user sets
MSIx vectors more than supported CQs, firmware is setting incorrect value
for msix_vec_per_pf_max parameter. Fix it by reducing the BNXT_MSIX_VEC_MAX
value to 512, even though the maximum # of MSIx vectors supported by adapter
are 1280.

Michael Chan c71c4e49af bnxt_en: Fix VF anti-spoof filter setup.
Fix the logic that sets the enable/disable flag for the source MAC
filter according to firmware spec 1.7.1.

In the original firmware spec. before 1.7.1, the VF spoof check flags
were not latched after making the HWRM_FUNC_CFG call, so there was a
need to keep the func_flags so that subsequent calls would perserve
the VF spoof check setting.  A change was made in the 1.7.1 spec
so that the flags became latched.  So we now set or clear the anti-
spoof setting directly without retrieving the old settings in the
stored vf->func_flags which are no longer valid.  We also remove the
unneeded vf->func_flags.

Eran Ben Elisha ba7d16c779 devlink: Implicitly set auto recover flag when registering health reporter
When health reporter is registered to devlink, devlink will implicitly set
auto recover if and only if the reporter has a recover method. No reason
to explicitly get the auto recover flag from the driver.

Remove this flag from all drivers that called
devlink_health_reporter_create.

All existing health reporters set auto recovery to true if they have a
recover method.

Yet, administrator can unset auto recover via netlink command as prior to
this patch.

Edwin Peer 62d4073e86 bnxt_en: fix memory leaks in bnxt_dcbnl_ieee_getets()
The allocated ieee_ets structure goes out of scope without being freed,
leaking memory. Appropriate result codes should be returned so that
callers do not rely on invalid data passed by reference.

Also cache the ETS config retrieved from the device so that it doesn't
need to be freed. The balance of the code was clearly written with the
intent of having the results of querying the hardware cached in the
device structure. The commensurate store was evidently missed though.

Doug Berger 9a9ba2a4aa net: bcmgenet: always enable status blocks
The hardware offloading of the NETIF_F_HW_CSUM and NETIF_F_RXCSUM
features requires the use of Transmit Status Blocks before transmit
frame data and Receive Status Blocks before receive frame data to
carry the checksum information.

Unfortunately, these status blocks are currently only enabled when
the NETIF_F_HW_CSUM feature is enabled. As a result NETIF_F_RXCSUM
will not actually be offloaded to the hardware unless both it and
NETIF_F_HW_CSUM are enabled. Fortunately, that is the default
configuration.

This commit addresses this issue by always enabling the use of
status blocks on both transmit and receive frames. Further, it
replaces the use of a dedicated flag within the driver private
data structure with direct use of the netdev features flags.

Doug Berger 88f6c8bf1a net: bcmgenet: keep MAC in reset until PHY is up
As noted in commit 28c2d1a7a0 ("net: bcmgenet: enable loopback
during UniMAC sw_reset") the UniMAC must be clocked at least 5
cycles while the sw_reset is asserted to ensure a clean reset.

That commit enabled local loopback to provide an Rx clock from the
GENET sourced Tx clk. However, when connected in MII mode the Tx
clk is sourced by the PHY so if an EPHY is not supplying clocks
(e.g. when the link is down) the UniMAC does not receive the
necessary clocks.

This commit extends the sw_reset window until the PHY reports that
the link is up thereby ensuring that the clocks are being provided
to the MAC to produce a clean reset.

One consequence is that if the system attempts to enter a Wake on
LAN suspend state when the PHY link has not been active the MAC
may not have had a chance to initialize cleanly. In this case, we
remove the sw_reset and enable the WoL reception path as normal
with the hope that the PHY will provide the necessary clocks to
drive the WoL blocks if the link becomes active after the system
has entered suspend.

Michael Chan 843d699d79 bnxt_en: Clear DCB settings after firmware reset.
The driver stores a copy of the DCB settings that have been applied to
the firmware.  After firmware reset, the firmware settings are gone and
will revert back to default.  Clear the driver's copy so that if there
is a DCBNL request to get the settings, the driver will retrieve the
current settings from the firmware.  lldpad keeps the DCB settings in
userspace and will re-apply the settings if it is running.

Michael Chan 389a877a3b bnxt_en: Process the NQ under NAPI continuous polling.
When we are in continuous NAPI polling mode, the current code in
bnxt_poll_p5() will only process the completion rings and will not
process the NQ until interrupt is re-enabled.  Tis logic works and
will not cause RX or TX starvation, but async events in the NQ may
be delayed for the duration of continuous NAPI polling.  These
async events may be firmware or VF events.

Continue to handle the NQ after we are done polling the completion
rings.  This actually simplies the code in bnxt_poll_p5().

Acknowledge the NQ so these async events will not overflow.

Simplify the function by removing tha 'all' parameter.  In the current
code, the caller has to specify whether to update/arm both completion
rings with the 'all' parameter.

Instead of this, we can just update/arm all the completion rings
that have been polled.  By setting cpr->had_work_done earlier in
__bnxt_poll_work(), we know which completion ring has been polled
and can just update/arm all the completion rings with
cpr->had_work_done set.

This simplifies the function with one less parameter and works just
as well.

Michael Chan 54a9062f69 bnxt_en: Handle all NQ notifications in bnxt_poll_p5().
In bnxt_poll_p5(), the logic polls for up to 2 completion rings (RX and
TX) for work.  In the current code, if we reach budget polling the
first completion ring, we will stop.  If the other completion ring
has work to do, we will handle it when NAPI calls us back.

This is not optimal.  We potentially leave an unproceesed entry in
the NQ.  When we are finally done with NAPI polling and re-enable
interrupt, the remaining entry in the NQ will cause interrupt to
be triggered immediately for no reason.

Modify the code in bnxt_poll_p5() to keep looping until all NQ
entries are handled even if the first completion ring has reached
budget.

Jacob Keller 8d85b75b4e bnxt_en: Use pci_get_dsn()
Replace the open-coded implementation for reading the PCIe DSN with
pci_get_dsn().

Use of put_unaligned_le64 should be correct. pci_get_dsn() will perform
two pci_read_config_dword calls. The first dword will be placed in the
first 32 bits of the u64, while the second dword will be placed in the
upper 32 bits of the u64.

On Little Endian systems, the least significant byte comes first, which
will be the least significant byte of the first dword, followed by the
least significant byte of the second dword. Since the _le32 variations
do not perform byte swapping, we will correctly copy the dwords into the
dsn[] array in the same order as before.

On Big Endian systems, the most significant byte of the second dword
will come first. put_unaligned_le64 will perform a CPU_TO_LE64, which
will swap things correctly before copying. This should also end up with
the correct bytes in the dsn[] array.

While at it, fix a small typo in the netdev_info error message when the
DSN cannot be read.

Edwin Peer 22630e28f9 bnxt_en: fix error handling when flashing from file
After bnxt_hwrm_do_send_message() was updated to return standard error
codes in a recent commit, a regression in bnxt_flash_package_from_file()
was introduced.  The return value does not properly reflect all
possible firmware errors when calling firmware to flash the package.

Fix it by consolidating all errors in one local variable rc instead
of having 2 variables for different errors.

Vasundhara Volam a9b952d267 bnxt_en: reinitialize IRQs when MTU is modified
MTU changes may affect the number of IRQs so we must call
bnxt_close_nic()/bnxt_open_nic() with the irq_re_init parameter
set to true.  The reason is that a larger MTU may require
aggregation rings not needed with smaller MTU.  We may not be
able to allocate the required number of aggregation rings and
so we reduce the number of channels which will change the number
of IRQs.  Without this patch, it may crash eventually in
pci_disable_msix() when the IRQs are not properly unwound.

Outdated Raspberry Pi 4 firmware might configure the external PHY as
rgmii although the kernel currently sets it as rgmii-rxid. This makes
connections unreliable as ID_MODE_DIS is left enabled. To avoid this,
explicitly clear that bit whenever we don't need it.

Jeremy Linton ae200c26b3 net: bcmgenet: reduce severity of missing clock warnings
If one types "failed to get enet clock" or similar into google
there are ~370k hits. The vast majority are people debugging
problems unrelated to this adapter, or bragging about their
rpi's. Further, the DT clock bindings here are optional.

Given that its not a fatal situation with common DT based
systems, lets reduce the severity so people aren't seeing failure
messages in everyday operation.

Jeremy Linton 26bd9cc64f net: bcmgenet: Fetch MAC address from the adapter
ARM/ACPI machines should utilize self describing hardware
when possible. The MAC address on the BCMGENET can be
read from the adapter if a full featured firmware has already
programmed it. Lets try using the address already programmed,
if it appears to be valid.

It should be noted that while we move the macaddr logic below
the clock and power logic in the driver, none of that code will
ever be active in an ACPI environment as the device will be
attached to the acpi power domain, and brought to full power
with all clocks enabled immediately before the device probe
routine is called.

One side effect of the above tweak is that while its now
possible to read the MAC address via _DSD properties, it should
be avoided.

The rpi4 is capable of booting in ACPI mode with the latest
edk2-platform commits. As such it would be helpful if the genet
platform device were usable.

To achieve this we add a new MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE, and convert
a few dt specific methods to their generic device_ calls. Until
the next patch, ACPI based machines will fallback on random
mac addresses.

Jeremy Linton 6ef31c8bee net: bcmgenet: enable automatic phy discovery
The unimac mdio driver falls back to scanning the
entire bus if its given an appropriate mask. In ACPI
mode we expect that the system is well behaved and
conforms to recent versions of the specification.

We then utilize phy_find_first(), and
phy_connect_direct() to find and attach to the
discovered phy during net_device open. While its
apparently possible to build a genet based device
with multiple phys on a single mdio bus, this works
for current machines. Further, this driver makes
a number of assumptions about the platform device,
mac, mdio and phy all being 1:1. Lastly, It also
avoids having to create references across the ACPI
namespace hierarchy.

Florian Fainelli 263a425a48 net: systemport: Avoid RBUF stuck in Wake-on-LAN mode
After a number of suspend and resume cycles, it is possible for the RBUF
to be stuck in Wake-on-LAN mode, despite the MPD enable bit being
cleared which instructed the RBUF to exit that mode.

Avoid creating that problematic condition by clearing the RX_EN and
TX_EN bits in the UniMAC prior to disable the Magic Packet Detector
logic which is guaranteed to make the RBUF exit Wake-on-LAN mode.

Michael Chan 18e4960c18 bnxt_en: Fix TC queue mapping.
The driver currently only calls netdev_set_tc_queue when the number of
TCs is greater than 1.  Instead, the comparison should be greater than
or equal to 1.  Even with 1 TC, we need to set the queue mapping.

This bug can cause warnings when the number of TCs is changed back to 1.

Vasundhara Volam d407302895 bnxt_en: Fix logic that disables Bus Master during firmware reset.
The current logic that calls pci_disable_device() in __bnxt_close_nic()
during firmware reset is flawed.  If firmware is still alive, we're
disabling the device too early, causing some firmware commands to
not reach the firmware.

Fix it by moving the logic to bnxt_reset_close().  If firmware is
in fatal condition, we call pci_disable_device() before we free
any of the rings to prevent DMA corruption of the freed rings.  If
firmware is still alive, we call pci_disable_device() after the
last firmware message has been sent.

Michael Chan 12de2eadf8 bnxt_en: Fix RDMA driver failure with SRIOV after firmware reset.
bnxt_ulp_start() needs to be called before SRIOV is re-enabled after
firmware reset.  Re-enabling SRIOV may consume all the resources and
may cause the RDMA driver to fail to get MSIX and other resources.
Fix it by calling bnxt_ulp_start() first before calling
bnxt_reenable_sriov().

We re-arrange the logic so that we call bnxt_ulp_start() and
bnxt_reenable_sriov() in proper sequence in bnxt_fw_reset_task() and
bnxt_open().  The former is the normal coordinated firmware reset sequence
and the latter is firmware reset while the function is down.  This new
logic is now more straight forward and will now fix both scenarios.

Andy Shevchenko dd3e7cba16 ocfs2/dlm: move BITS_TO_BYTES() to bitops.h for wider use
There are users already and will be more of BITS_TO_BYTES() macro.  Move
it to bitops.h for wider use.

In the case of ocfs2 the replacement is identical.

As for bnx2x, there are two places where floor version is used.  In the
first case to calculate the amount of structures that can fit one memory
page.  In this case obviously the ceiling variant is correct and
original code might have a potential bug, if amount of bits % 8 is not
0.  In the second case the macro is used to calculate bytes transmitted
in one microsecond.  This will work for all speeds which is multiply of
1Gbps without any change, for the rest new code will give ceiling value,
for instance 100Mbps will give 13 bytes, while old code gives 12 bytes
and the arithmetically correct one is 12.5 bytes.  Further the value is
used to setup timer threshold which in any case has its own margins due
to certain resolution.  I don't see here an issue with slightly shifting
thresholds for low speed connections, the card is supposed to utilize
highest available rate, which is usually 10Gbps.

Vasundhara Volam b014232f7f bnxt_en: Rename switch_id to dsn
Instead of switch_id, renaming it to dsn will be more meaningful
so that it can be used to display device serial number in follow up
patch via devlink_info command.
