Chunfeng Yun 5aba179c34 usb: mtu3: fix the failure of qmu stop
This happens when do stress test of uvc stream on/off which will
enable/disable endpoints. uvc has four tx requests, and may disable
endpoint between queue tx requests as following:
    enable ep --> start qmu
    queue tx request0
    queue tx request1
queue tx request2 --> resume qmu
disable ep --> stop qmu may fail [1]
queue tx request3 --> will resume qmu, may cause qmu can't work
when enable ep next time [2]

[1]: when the tx fifo has some data to transmit, and
try to stop qmu (stop ep) meanwhile resume qmu (queue tx request),
it may cause stop qmu timeout, then can be fixed by flushing fifo
    when stop qmu.
[2]: it resumes qmu again, shall stop qmu again.

Linus Torvalds 965a9d75e3 Tracing updates for 5.20 / 6.0
- Runtime verification infrastructure
This is the biggest change for this pull request. It introduces the
runtime verification that is necessary for running Linux on safety
critical systems. It allows for deterministic automata models to be
inserted into the kernel that will attach to tracepoints, where the
information on these tracepoints will move the model from state to state.
If a state is encountered that does not belong to the model, it will then
activate a given reactor, that could just inform the user or even panic
the kernel (for which safety critical systems will detect and can recover
   from).

 - Two monitor models are also added: Wakeup In Preemptive (WIP - not to be
confused with "work in progress"), and Wakeup While Not Running (WWNR).

 - Added __vstring() helper to the TRACE_EVENT() macro to replace several
vsnprintf() usages that were all doing it wrong.

 - eprobes now can have their event autogenerated when the event name is left
   off.

 - The rest is various cleanups and fixes.

Pull tracing updates from Steven Rostedt:

 - Runtime verification infrastructure

This is the biggest change here. It introduces the runtime
verification that is necessary for running Linux on safety critical
   systems.

It allows for deterministic automata models to be inserted into the

If a state is encountered that does not belong to the model, it will

   and can recover from).

 - Two monitor models are also added: Wakeup In Preemptive (WIP - not to

 - Added __vstring() helper to the TRACE_EVENT() macro to replace

 - eprobes now can have their event autogenerated when the event name is
   left off.

 - The rest is various cleanups and fixes.

Steven Rostedt (Google) 730dbb8dda USB: mtu3: tracing: Use the new __vstring() helper
Instead of open coding a __dynamic_array() with a fixed length (which
defeats the purpose of the dynamic array in the first place). Use the new
__vstring() helper that will use a va_list and only write enough of the
string into the ring buffer that is needed.

Forward request to function driver when the recipient is an interface,

GetStatus() request to the first interface in a function returns the

SetFeature request of FUNCTION_SUSPEND to an interface recipient, the

Chunfeng Yun 683ff6e485 usb: mtu3: check capability of usb3 dual role
It is capable of supporting usb3 dual role if there is at least one
usb3 port for device and xhci controller, we can check it from the
controller's capability, so no need the property "mediatek,usb3-drd"
anymore, but I find the property is not decribed in dt-binding.
Meanwhile, also take into account if the u3 port is disabled when the
u3 phy is shared with pcie.

We may want to disable device's usb3 port when the combo phy is switched

Meanwhile rename member @is_u3_ip to @u3_capable to avoid misleading, due
to the member's value may be changed when disable usb3 port, but the
controller is still a usb3 IP which also tells us how to manage the fifo.

Macpaul Lin 456244aeec usb: mtu3: fix USB 3.0 dual-role-switch from device to host
Issue description:
When an OTG port has been switched to device role and then switch back
to host role again, the USB 3.0 Host (XHCI) will not be able to detect
"plug in event of a connected USB 2.0/1.0 ((Highspeed and Fullspeed)
  devices until system reboot.

Root cause and Solution:
There is a condition checking flag "ssusb->otg_switch.is_u3_drd" in
toggle_opstate(). At the end of role switch procedure, toggle_opstate()
will be called to set DC_SESSION and SOFT_CONN bit. If "is_u3_drd" was
set and switched the role to USB host 3.0, bit DC_SESSION and SOFT_CONN
will be skipped hence caused the port cannot detect connected USB 2.0
(Highspeed and Fullspeed) devices. Simply remove the condition check to
  solve this issue.

Add support ip-sleep wakeup for MT8183, it's similar to MT8173,
and it's also a specific one, but not following IPM rule.
Due to the index 2 already used by many DTS, it's better to keep
it unchanged for backward compatibility, treat specific ones without
following IPM rule as revision 1.x, meanwhile reserve 3~10 for later
revision that follows the IPM rule.
