Michal Kubecek 71f711a4f1 via-velocity: allow nesting of ethtool_ops begin() and complete()
Unlike most networking drivers using begin() and complete() ethtool_ops
callbacks to resume a device which is down and suspend it again when done,
via-velocity does not use standard refcounted infrastructure but sets
device sleep state directly.

With the introduction of netlink ethtool interface, we may have nested
begin-complete blocks so that inner complete() would put the device back to
sleep for the rest of the outer block.

To avoid rewriting an old and not very actively developed driver, just add
a nesting counter and only perform resume and suspend on the outermost
level.

Timo Teräs 6c606fa32c via-velocity: unconditionally drop frames with bad l2 length
By default the driver allowed incorrect frames to be received. What is
worse the code does not handle very short frames correctly. The FCS
length is unconditionally subtracted, and the underflow can cause
skb_put to be called with large number after implicit cast to unsigned.
And indeed, an skb_over_panic() was observed with via-velocity.

This removes the module parameter as it does not work in it's
current state, and should be implemented via NETIF_F_RXALL if needed.

françois romieu bc9627e7e9 via-velocity: fix netif_receive_skb use in irq disabled section.
2fdac010bd ("via-velocity.c: update napi
implementation") overlooked an irq disabling spinlock when the Rx part
of the NAPI poll handler was converted from netif_rx to netif_receive_skb.

NAPI Rx processing can be taken out of the locked section with a pair of
napi_{disable / enable} since it only races with the MTU change function.

An heavier rework of the NAPI locking would be able to perform NAPI Tx
before Rx where I simply removed one of velocity_tx_srv calls.
