Wang Haojun 8e16049333 MIPS: loongson64: Fix no screen display during boot-up
The Framebuffer CONFIG_FB needs to be explicitly selected or we
don't get any framebuffer anymore. DRM has stopped to select FB
after commit f611b1e762 ("drm: Avoid circular
dependencies for CONFIG_FB") because of circular dependency. So
we should enable it in the default config file, otherwise there
is no display before Xorg.

Tiezhu Yang 043d7f9713 MIPS: Enable some missed configs in loongson3_defconfig to support bpftrace
bpftrace is a high-level tracing language for Linux enhanced Berkeley
Packet Filter (eBPF) available in recent Linux kernels (4.x). bpftrace
uses LLVM as a backend to compile scripts to BPF-bytecode and makes use
of BCC for interacting with the Linux BPF system, as well as existing
Linux tracing capabilities: kernel dynamic tracing (kprobes), user-level
dynamic tracing (uprobes), and tracepoints.

According to Linux Kernel Requirements in bpftrace/INSTALL.md [1], the
kernel needs to be built with the following options:

CONFIG_BPF=y
CONFIG_BPF_SYSCALL=y
CONFIG_BPF_JIT=y
CONFIG_HAVE_EBPF_JIT=y
CONFIG_BPF_EVENTS=y
CONFIG_FTRACE_SYSCALLS=y
CONFIG_FUNCTION_TRACER=y
CONFIG_HAVE_DYNAMIC_FTRACE=y
CONFIG_DYNAMIC_FTRACE=y
CONFIG_HAVE_KPROBES=y
CONFIG_KPROBES=y
CONFIG_KPROBE_EVENTS=y
CONFIG_ARCH_SUPPORTS_UPROBES=y
CONFIG_UPROBES=y
CONFIG_UPROBE_EVENTS=y
CONFIG_DEBUG_FS=y

So enable some missed configs in loongson3_defconfig to make sure
the above configs are set after make loongson3_defconfig.

Tiezhu Yang cf8194e46c MIPS: Loongson64: Give chance to build under !CONFIG_NUMA and !CONFIG_SMP
In the current code, we can not build under !CONFIG_NUMA and !CONFIG_SMP
on the Loongson64 platform, it seems bad for the users who just want to
use pure single core (not nosmp) to debug, so do the following things to
give them a chance:

(1) Do not select NUMA and SMP for MACH_LOONGSON64 in Kconfig, make NUMA
depends on SMP, and then just set them in the loongson3_defconfig.
(2) Move szmem() from numa.c to init.c and add prom_init_memory() under
!CONFIG_NUMA.
(3) Clean up szmem() due to the statements of case SYSTEM_RAM_LOW and
SYSTEM_RAM_HIGH are the same.
(4) Remove the useless declaration of prom_init_memory() and add the
declaration of szmem() in loongson.h to avoid build error.

loongson3_defconfig, and then there exists the following two build
warnings related with these two configs:

Tiezhu Yang 143463fd33 MIPS: Loongson: Enable devicetree based probing for 8250 ports in defconfig
After commit 87fcfa7b7f ("MIPS: Loongson64: Add generic dts"),
there already exists the node and property of Loongson CPU UART0
in loongson3-package.dtsi:

cpu_uart0: serial@1fe001e0 {
        compatible = "ns16550a";
        reg = <0 0x1fe001e0 0x8>;
        clock-frequency = <33000000>;
        interrupt-parent = <&liointc>;
        interrupts = <10 IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_HIGH>;
        no-loopback-test;
};

In order to support for serial console on the Loongson platform,
add CONFIG_SERIAL_OF_PLATFORM=y to loongson3_defconfig.

With this patch, we can see the following boot messages:

[    1.877745] printk: console [ttyS0] disabled
[    1.881979] 1fe001e0.serial: ttyS0 at MMIO 0x1fe001e0 (irq = 16, base_baud = 2062500) is a 16550A

Linus Torvalds ad0b314e00 Merge branch 'for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/ebiederm/user-namespace
Pull sysctl system call removal from Eric Biederman:
 "As far as I can tell we have reached the point where no one enables
  the sysctl system call anymore. It still is enabled in a few
  defconfigs but they are mostly the rarely used one and in asking
  people about that it was more cut & paste enabled than anything else.

  This is single commit that just deletes code. Leaving just enough code
  so that the deprecated sysctl warning continues to be printed. If my
  analysis turns out to be wrong and someone actually cares it will be
  easy to revert this commit and have the system call again.

  There was one new xtensa defconfig in linux-next that enabled the
  system call this cycle and when asked about it the maintainer of the
  code replied that it was not enabled on purpose. As of today's
  linux-next tree that defconfig no longer enables the system call.

  What we saw in the review discussion was that if we go a step farther
  than my patch and mess with uapi headers there are pieces of code that
  won't compile, but nothing minds the system call actually disappearing
  from the kernel"

Eric W. Biederman 61a47c1ad3 sysctl: Remove the sysctl system call
This system call has been deprecated almost since it was introduced, and
in a survey of the linux distributions I can no longer find any of them
that enable CONFIG_SYSCTL_SYSCALL. The only indication that I can find
that anyone might care is that a few of the defconfigs in the kernel
enable CONFIG_SYSCTL_SYSCALL. However this appears in only 31 of 414
defconfigs in the kernel, so I suspect this symbols presence is simply
because it is harmless to include rather than because it is necessary.

As there appear to be no users of the sysctl system call, remove the
code. As this removes one of the few uses of the internal kernel mount
of proc I hope this allows for even more simplifications of the proc
filesystem.

MIPS: Loongson: Make default kernel log buffer size as 128KB for Loongson3
When I update kernel with loongson3_defconfig based on the Loongson 3A3000

better to change the kernel log buffer size from 16KB to 128KB which is
enough to save the boot messages.

Since the default LOG_BUF_SHIFT value is 17, the default kernel log buffer
size is 128KB, just delete the CONFIG_LOG_BUF_SHIFT line.

MIPS: configs: Remove useless UEVENT_HELPER_PATH
Remove the CONFIG_UEVENT_HELPER_PATH because:
1. It is disabled since commit 1be01d4a57 ("driver: base: Disable
   CONFIG_UEVENT_HELPER by default") as its dependency (UEVENT_HELPER) was
   made default to 'n',
2. It is not recommended (help message: "This should not be used today
   [...] creates a high system load") and was kept only for ancient
   userland,
3. Certain userland specifically requests it to be disabled (systemd
   README: "Legacy hotplug slows down the system and confuses udev").

Huacai Chen 30ad29bb48 MIPS: Loongson: Naming style cleanup and rework
Currently, code of Loongson-2/3 is under loongson directory and code of
Loongson-1 is under loongson1 directory. Besides, there are Kconfig
options such as MACH_LOONGSON and MACH_LOONGSON1. This naming style is
very ugly and confusing. Since Loongson-2/3 are both 64-bit general-
purpose CPU while Loongson-1 is 32-bit SoC, we rename both file names
and Kconfig symbols from loongson/loongson1 to loongson64/loongson32.
