Wolfram Sang ca1f8da9ac i2c: remove FSF address
We have a central copy of the GPL for that. Some addresses were already
outdated.

Lars-Peter Clausen bf51a8c5e0 i2c: Ignore return value of i2c_del_adapter()
i2c_del_adapter() always returns 0. So all checks testing whether it will be
non zero will always evaluate to false and the conditional code is dead code.
This patch updates all callers of i2c_del_mux_adapter() to ignore the return
value and assume that it will always succeed (which it will). In a subsequent
patch the return type of i2c_del_adapter() will be made void.

Jean Delvare 399d6b2653 i2c: Fix oops on bus multiplexer driver loading
The two I2C bus multiplexer drivers (i2c-amd756-s4882 and
i2c-nforce2-s4985) make use of the bus they want to multiplex before
checking if it is really present. Swap the instructions to test for
presence first. This fixes a oops reported by Ingo Molnar.

Jean Delvare bd4bc3dbde i2c: Clear i2c_adapter.dev on adapter removal
Clear i2c_adapter.dev on adapter removal. This makes it possible to
re-add the adapter at a later point, which some drivers
(i2c-amd756-s4882, i2c-nforce2-s4985) actually do.

This fixes a bug reported by John Stultz here:
  http://lkml.org/lkml/2008/7/15/720
and by Ingo Molar there:

Jean Delvare 279e902445 i2c-nforce2: Add support for multiplexing on the Tyan S4985
Just like the Tyan S4882, the S4985 uses a multiplexer to give access
to all 16 memory module SPD EEPROMs. This specific i2c-nforce2-s4985
driver adds support for this. It is heavily based on the older
i2c-amd756-s4882 driver.

As more mainboards will use multiplexer chips, we will have to find a
way to support them without having to write a new specfic driver for
each. The recent changes to the i2c subsystem should help us, and the
new gpio subsystem might help, too.
