There are a couple of subsystems maintained by other people that
merge their drivers through the SoC tree, those changes include:
- The SCMI firmware framework gains support for sensor notifications
and for controlling voltage domains.
- A large update for the Tegra memory controller driver, integrating
it better with the interconnect framework
- The memory controller subsystem gains support for Mediatek MT8192
- The reset controller framework gains support for sharing pulsed
resets
For Soc specific drivers in drivers/soc, the main changes are
- The Allwinner/sunxi MBUS gets a rework for the way it handles
dma_map_ops and offsets between physical and dma address spaces.
- An errata fix plus some cleanups for Freescale Layerscape SoCs
- A cleanup for renesas drivers regarding MMIO accesses.
- New SoC specific drivers for Mediatek MT8192 and MT8183 power domains
- New SoC specific drivers for Aspeed AST2600 LPC bus control
and SoC identification.
- Core Power Domain support for Qualcomm MSM8916, MSM8939, SDM660
and SDX55.
- A rework of the TI AM33xx 'genpd' power domain support to use
information from DT instead of platform data
- Support for TI AM64x SoCs
- Allow building some Amlogic drivers as modules instead of built-in
Finally, there are numerous cleanups and smaller bug fixes for
Mediatek, Tegra, Samsung, Qualcomm, TI OMAP, Amlogic, Rockchips,
Renesas, and Xilinx SoCs.
There is a trivial conflict in the cedrus driver, with two branches
adding the same CEDRUS_CAPABILITY_H265_DEC flag, and another trivial
remove/remove conflict in linux/dma-mapping.h.

e820__mapped_all() is passed as a callback to is_mmconf_reserved(),
which expects a function of type:
typedef bool (*check_reserved_t)(u64 start, u64 end, unsigned type);
However, e820__mapped_all() accepts enum e820_type as the last argument
and this type mismatch trips indirect call checking with Clang's
Control-Flow Integrity (CFI).
As is_mmconf_reserved() only passes enum e820_type values for the
type argument, change the typedef and the unused type argument in
is_acpi_reserved() to enum e820_type to fix the type mismatch.

'trigger' and 'polarity' are used throughout the I/O-APIC code for handling
the trigger type (edge/level) and the active low/high configuration. While
there are defines for initializing these variables and struct members, they
are not used consequently and the meaning of 'trigger' and 'polarity' is
opaque and confusing at best.
Rename them to 'is_level' and 'active_low' and make them boolean in various

The new field 'dma_range_map' in struct device is used to facilitate the
use of single or multiple offsets between mapping regions of cpu addrs and
dma addrs. It subsumes the role of "dev->dma_pfn_offset" which was only
capable of holding a single uniform offset and had no region bounds
checking.
The function of_dma_get_range() has been modified so that it takes a single
argument -- the device node -- and returns a map, NULL, or an error code.
The map is an array that holds the information regarding the DMA regions.
Each range entry contains the address offset, the cpu_start address, the
dma_start address, and the size of the region.
of_dma_configure() is the typical manner to set range offsets but there are
a number of ad hoc assignments to "dev->dma_pfn_offset" in the kernel
driver code. These cases now invoke the function
dma_direct_set_offset(dev, cpu_addr, dma_addr, size).

Get rid of all the gunk and remove the 'select PCI_MSI_ARCH_FALLBACK' from

Now that interrupt remapping sets the irqdomain pointer when a PCI device
is added it's possible to store the default irq domain in the device struct
in pcibios_add_device().
If the bus to which a device is connected has an irq domain associated then
this domain is used otherwise the default domain (PCI/MSI native or XEN
PCI/MSI) is used. Using the bus domain ensures that special MSI bus domains
like VMD work.
This makes XEN and the non-remapped native case work solely based on the
irq domain pointer in struct device for PCI/MSI and allows to remove the
arch fallback and make most of the x86_msi ops private to XEN in the next
steps.

To allow utilizing the irq domain pointer in struct device it is necessary
to make XEN/MSI irq domain compatible.
While the right solution would be to truly convert XEN to irq domains, this
is an exercise which is not possible for mere mortals with limited XENology.
Provide a plain irqdomain wrapper around XEN. While this is blatant
violation of the irqdomain design, it's the only solution for a XEN igorant
person to make progress on the issue which triggered this change.

X86 cannot store the irq domain pointer in struct device without breaking
XEN because the irq domain pointer takes precedence over arch_*_msi_irqs()
fallbacks.
To achieve this XEN MSI interrupt management needs to be wrapped into an
irq domain.
Move the x86_msi ops setup into a single function to prepare for this.

X86 cannot store the irq domain pointer in struct device without breaking
XEN because the irq domain pointer takes precedence over arch_*_msi_irqs()
fallbacks.
XENs MSI teardown relies on default_teardown_msi_irqs() which invokes
arch_teardown_msi_irq(). default_teardown_msi_irqs() is a trivial iterator
over the msi entries associated to a device.
Implement this loop in xen_teardown_msi_irqs() to prepare for removal of
the fallbacks for X86.
This is a preparatory step to wrap XEN MSI alloc/free into a irq domain
which in turn allows to store the irq domain pointer in struct device and
to use the irq domain functions directly.

Using a mask to represent bus DMA constraints has a set of limitations.
The biggest one being it can only hold a power of two (minus one). The
DMA mapping code is already aware of this and treats dev->bus_dma_mask
as a limit. This quirk is already used by some architectures although
still rare.
With the introduction of the Raspberry Pi 4 we've found a new contender
for the use of bus DMA limits, as its PCIe bus can only address the
lower 3GB of memory (of a total of 4GB). This is impossible to represent
with a mask. To make things worse the device-tree code rounds non power
of two bus DMA limits to the next power of two, which is unacceptable in
this case.
In the light of this, rename dev->bus_dma_mask to dev->bus_dma_limit all
over the tree and treat it as such. Note that dev->bus_dma_limit should
contain the higher accessible DMA address.

The AMD FCH USB XHCI Controller advertises support for generating PME#
while in D0. When in D0, it does signal PME# for USB 3.0 connect events,
but not for USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 connect events, which means the controller
doesn't wake correctly for those events.
00:10.0 USB controller [0c03]: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD] FCH USB XHCI Controller [1022:7914] (rev 20) (prog-if 30 [XHCI])
Subsystem: Dell FCH USB XHCI Controller [1028:087e]
Capabilities: [50] Power Management version 3
Flags: PMEClk- DSI- D1- D2- AuxCurrent=0mA PME(D0+,D1-,D2-,D3hot+,D3cold+)
Clear PCI_PM_CAP_PME_D0 in dev->pme_support to indicate the device will not
assert PME# from D0 so we don't rely on it.

Add SPDX GPL-2.0 to numachip.c, which referred to the kernel default
"COPYING" file, which specifies GPL version 2.
Remove the boilerplate language referring to the GPL and "COPYING", relying
on the assertion in b24413180f ("License cleanup: add SPDX GPL-2.0
license identifier to files with no license") that the SPDX identifier may
be used instead of the full boilerplate text.

The devices found behind this PCIe chip have unusual DMA mapping
constraints as there is an AMBA interconnect placed in between them and
the different PCI endpoints. The offset between physical memory
addresses and AMBA's view is provided by reading a PCI config register,
which is saved and used whenever DMA mapping is needed.
It turns out that this DMA setup can be represented by properly setting
'dma_pfn_offset', 'dma_bus_mask' and 'dma_mask' during the PCI device
enable fixup. And ultimately allows us to get rid of this device's
custom DMA functions.
Aside from the code deletion and DMA setup, sta2x11_pdev_to_mapping() is
moved to avoid warnings whenever CONFIG_PM is not enabled.

Code that iterates over all standard PCI BARs typically uses
PCI_STD_RESOURCE_END. However, that requires the unusual test
"i <= PCI_STD_RESOURCE_END" rather than something the typical
"i < PCI_STD_NUM_BARS".
Add a definition for PCI_STD_NUM_BARS and change loops to use the more
idiomatic C style to help avoid fencepost errors.
