Nathan Huckleberry 1261255531 drm/exynos: Fix return type for mixer_mode_valid and hdmi_mode_valid
The field mode_valid in exynos_drm_crtc_ops is expected to be of type enum
drm_mode_status (*mode_valid)(struct exynos_drm_crtc *crtc,
                                   const struct drm_display_mode *mode);

Likewise for mode_valid in drm_connector_helper_funcs.

The mismatched return type breaks forward edge kCFI since the underlying
function definition does not match the function hook definition.

The return type of mixer_mode_valid and hdmi_mode_valid should be changed
from int to enum drm_mode_status.

Lad Prabhakar be52abd4d2 drm/exynos: mixer: Use platform_get_irq() to get the interrupt
platform_get_resource(pdev, IORESOURCE_IRQ, ..) relies on static
allocation of IRQ resources in DT core code, this causes an issue
when using hierarchical interrupt domains using "interrupts" property
in the node as this bypassed the hierarchical setup and messed up the
irq chaining.

In preparation for removal of static setup of IRQ resource from DT core
code use platform_get_irq().

Inki Dae 445d3bed75 drm/exynos: use pm_runtime_resume_and_get()
Use pm_runtime_resume_and_get() instead of pm_runtime_get_sync()
to deal with usage counter. pm_runtime_get_sync() increases the
usage counter even when it failed, which makes callers to forget
to decrease the usage counter and resulted in reference leak.

pm_runtime_resume_and_get() function decreases the usage counter
when it failed internally so it can avoid the reference leak.

Ville Syrjälä 0425662fdf drm: Nuke mode->vrefresh
Get rid of mode->vrefresh and just calculate it on demand. Saves
a bit of space and avoids the cached value getting out of sync

Mostly done with cocci, with the following manual fixups:
- Remove the now empty loop in drm_helper_probe_single_connector_modes()
- Fix __MODE() macro in ch7006_mode.c
- Fix DRM_MODE_ARG() macro in drm_modes.h
- Remove leftover comment from samsung_s6d16d0_mode

Marek Szyprowski fda022143f drm/exynos: mixer: Fix enabling of the runtime power management
Runtime power management is essential for the Exynos Mixer driver
operation. It should be enabled before adding its DRM component, because
in some cases (when deferred probe takes place due to the IOMMU
availability) the DRM driver might be initialized directly from the
Mixer's component_add() call, what results in starting the driver
operation without enabling the runtime power management.

Store the IOMMU mapping created by the device core of each Exynos DRM

fixes IOMMU initialization failure for the second time when a deferred

Andrzej Hajda 6a3b45ada9 drm/exynos/mixer: fix MIXER shadow registry synchronisation code
MIXER on Exynos5 SoCs uses different synchronisation method than Exynos4
to update internal state (shadow registers).
Apparently the driver implements it incorrectly. The rule should be
as follows:
- do not request updating registers until previous request was finished,
  ie. MXR_CFG_LAYER_UPDATE_COUNT must be 0.
- before setting registers synchronisation on VSYNC should be turned off,
  ie. MXR_STATUS_SYNC_ENABLE should be reset,
- after finishing MXR_STATUS_SYNC_ENABLE should be set again.
The patch hopefully implements it correctly.

Andrzej Hajda d644951c2b drm/exynos: kill exynos_drm_crtc::pipe
Since crtc index is stored in drm_crtc pipe field became redundant.
The patch beside removing the field simplifies also
exynos_drm_crtc_get_pipe_from_type.

Andrzej Hajda a392276d1d drm/exynos: move crtc event handling to drivers callbacks
CRTC event is currently send with next vblank, or instantly in case crtc
is being disabled. This approach usually works, but in corner cases it can
result in premature event generation. Only device driver is able to verify
if the event can be sent. This patch is a first step in that direction - it
moves event handling to the drivers.

Dan Carpenter 8646dcb8a0 drm/exynos: fix a timeout loop
We were trying to print an error message if we timed out here, but the
loop actually ends with "tries" set to UINT_MAX and not zero. Fix this
by changing from tries-- to --tries.

A for loop would actually be the most natural way to do this. My fix
means we only loop 99 times instead of 100 but that's probably ok.
