Cédric Dufour - Idiap Research Institute 8b9e418c01 staging: lustre: fix quotactl permission denied (LU-4530)
The changes introduced in commit 4b1a25f06b ("fix build when
CONFIG_UIDGID_STRICT_TYPE_CHECKS is on") got the UID check the wrong way
around, leading to "Permission denied" when a regular user attempts to
retrieve his quota (lfs quota -u ...) but allowing him to retrieve other
users quota.

Full details at: https://jira.hpdd.intel.com/browse/LU-4530

Oleg Drokin 18e042f0c9 lustre: Correct KUC code max changelog msg size
The kernel to userspace communication routines (KUC) allocate
and limit the maximum cs_buf size to CR_MAXSIZE. However this
fails to account for the fact that the buffer is assumed to begin
with a struct kuc_hdr. To allocate and account for that space,
we introduce a new define, KUC_CHANGELOG_MSG_MAXSIZE.

Oleg Drokin 910827f174 lustre: Account for changelog_ext_rec in CR_MAXSIZE
CR_MAXSIZE needs to account for an llog_changelog_rec that actually
contains a changelog_ext_rec structure rather than a changelog_rec.
With out doing so, a file size approaching the Linux kernel NAME_MAX
length that is renamed to a size also close to, or at, NAME_MAX will
exceed CR_MAXSIZE and trip an assertion.

Oleg Drokin aadbacc7f2 staging/lustre/lnet: Fix use after free in ksocknal_send
Call to ksocknal_launch_packet might schedule a callback that
might free the just sent message, and so subsequent access to it

Instead we'll just remember if we are in the vmflush thread and
only restore if we happened to set mempressure flag.

Linus Torvalds f568849eda Merge branch 'for-3.14/core' of git://git.kernel.dk/linux-block
Pull core block IO changes from Jens Axboe:
"The major piece in here is the immutable bio_ve series from Kent, the
rest is fairly minor. It was supposed to go in last round, but
various issues pushed it to this release instead. The pull request
  contains:

   - Various smaller blk-mq fixes from different folks. Nothing major
here, just minor fixes and cleanups.

   - Fix for a memory leak in the error path in the block ioctl code
     from Christian Engelmayer.

   - Header export fix from CaiZhiyong.

   - Finally the immutable biovec changes from Kent Overstreet. This
enables some nice future work on making arbitrarily sized bios
possible, and splitting more efficient. Related fixes to immutable
     bio_vecs:

        - dm-cache immutable fixup from Mike Snitzer.
        - btrfs immutable fixup from Muthu Kumar.

  - bio-integrity fix from Nic Bellinger, which is also going to stable"

Greg Kroah-Hartman aa3bee0daa lustre: delete linux/lustre_debug.h
There was only one macro in here, LL_CDEBUG_PAGE(). So open code it in
the 2 places it was used so that the developer seeing it can see just
how horrid it really is, and they can remove it as I doubt it really is
ever needed anymore. But for now, keep the same functionality and
remove a whole file (with a duplicate name of other files in the lustre
repo, another confusion...)

Peng Tao 960edbe307 staging/lustre/llite: remove ll_file_get_iov_count
It exactly copies generic_segment_checks() except wrongly calling
access_ok(VERIFY_READ) for aio read range. Drop it and just call
generic_segment_checks() instead.

Peng Tao 284c145e7e staging/lustre: fix build error in ll_setxattr_common
With CONFIG_FS_POSIX_ACL off, we'll get
drivers/staging/lustre/lustre/llite/xattr.c: In function ‘ll_setxattr_common’:
drivers/staging/lustre/lustre/llite/xattr.c:187:7: error: ‘rce’ undeclared (first use in this function)
drivers/staging/lustre/lustre/llite/xattr.c:187:7: note: each undeclared identifier is reported only once for each function it appears in

It was introduced by 7fc1f83 (staging/lustre/llite: extended attribute cache)
that added new reference but didn't take care of CONFIG_FS_POSIX_ACL.

Greg Kroah-Hartman 877494a7e2 staging: lustre: reapply an older patch that was reverted
This reapplies part of 9edf0f670b (staging:
lustre: clean up format string usages) as it was reverted in a recent
change to this file.

That proves the big problem of having external trees you have to have
patches flowing back into them from upstream or things break down...

Michal Nazarewicz 358bd68cbd staging: lustre: fix potential NULL pointer dereference
The rest of the code seem to imply that rmf_dumper may indeed be
NULL. Change the code so that dumping is not even considered if
rmf_dumper callback is not set.

Peng Tao 62494681cd staging/lustre: fix defined not used warning
register_sysctl_table/unregister_sysctl_table are defined
regardless of CONFIG_SYSCTL true or false. so we don't need
to surround them with #ifdef CONFIG_SYSCTL. Besides, current
code got build warnings when CONFIG_SYSCTL is not set:
drivers/staging/lustre/lustre/libcfs/linux/linux-proc.c:368:20: warning:
‘lnet_table’ defined but not used [-Wunused-variable]
