Daniel Thompson 2fe686ebaf serial: cpm_uart: No LF conversion in put_poll_char()
In (c7d44a02a serial_core: Commonalize crlf when working w/ a non open
console port) the core was modified to make the UART poll_put_char()
automatically convert LF to CRLF. This driver's poll_put_char() adds a
CR itself and this was not disabled by the above patch meaning
currently it sends two CR characters.

The code to issue a character is shared by the console write code (where
driver must do LF to CRLF conversion, although it can make use of the
uart_console_write() helper function) and the poll_put_char (where
driver must not do the conversion). For that reason we add a flag rather
than simply rip out the conversion code.

Paul Gortmaker f8e87cb4a1 tty: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>
None of these files are actually using any __init type directives
and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a
left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to
code getting copied from one driver to the next.

Christophe Leroy a416bfa2a6 tty: serial: cpm_uart: Adding proper request of GPIO used by cpm_uart driver
cpm_uart serial driver uses GPIO for control signals. In order to be used
properly, GPIOs have to be reserved. Comment in gpiolib.c considers illegal
the use of GPIOs without requesting them. In addition, the direction of the
GPIO has to be set properly.

Jingoo Han 696faedd61 serial: use platform_{get,set}_drvdata()
Use the wrapper functions for getting and setting the driver data using
platform_device instead of using dev_{get,set}_drvdata() with &pdev->dev,
so we can directly pass a struct platform_device.

Also, unnecessary dev_set_drvdata() is removed, because the driver core
clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure.

Jiri Slaby 2e124b4a39 TTY: switch tty_flip_buffer_push
Now, we start converting tty buffer functions to actually use
tty_port. This will allow us to get rid of the need of tty in many
call sites. Only tty_port will needed and hence no more
tty_port_tty_get in those paths.

Now, the one where most of tty_port_tty_get gets removed:
tty_flip_buffer_push.

IOW we also closed all the races in drivers not using tty_port_tty_get
at all yet.

Also we move tty_flip_buffer_push declaration from include/linux/tty.h
to include/linux/tty_flip.h to all others while we are changing it
anyway.

Jiri Slaby d6c53c0e9b TTY: move low_latency to tty_port
One point is to have less places where we actually need tty pointer.
The other is that low_latency is bound to buffer processing and
buffers are now in tty_port. So it makes sense to move low_latency to
tty_port too.

Christophe Leroy 6e62bdc07e Powerpc 8xx CPM_UART setting MAXIDL register proportionaly to baud rate
MAXIDL is the timeout after which a receive buffer is closed when not full if
no more characters are received. We calculate it from the baudrate so that the
duration is always the same at standard rates: about 4ms. At 9600 bauds it gives
a timeout of 4 characters, which is the timeout on the 8250 UART.

Christophe Leroy 59733ef7e5 Powerpc 8xx CPM_UART too many interrupts
Setting the fifo to only 1 byte generates one interrupt every 1ms at 9600 bauds.
This is too much. This patch reduces the threshold to speeds below 2400 bauds
like in the 8250 UART driver.

Jiri Slaby ee160a38ee TTY: serial, fix includes in some drivers
linux/tty_flip.h is included in linux/serial_core.h. But this may (and
will) change in the future. Then we would get build errors such as:
.../tty/serial/max3107.c: In function ‘put_data_to_circ_buf’:
.../tty/serial/max3107.c:149:2: error: implicit declaration of function ‘tty_insert_flip_string’

So fix all the drviers which call tty flip buffer helpers to really
include linux/tty_flip.h. And also make sure that those include
linux/tty.h when operating with struct tty_struct.
