Wu Fengguang c6e8453e75 ALSA: hda - repoll ELD content for multiple times
Improve the one-shot ELD repoll to up to 6 retries.

Up to now the 300ms looks sufficient for the test boxes. However
I'm a bit worried about how well it can fit the wider user base.

Daniel Drake a32839696a viafb: correct sync polarity for OLPC DCON
While the OLPC display appears to be able to handle either positive
or negative sync, the Display Controller only recognises positive sync.

This brings viafb (for XO-1.5) in line with lxfb (for XO-1) and
fixes a recent regression where the XO-1.5 DCON could no longer be
frozen. Thanks to Florian Tobias Schandinat for helping identify
the fix.

Test case: from a vt,
	echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/dcon/freeze
should cause the current screen contents to freeze, rather than garbage being
displayed.

Pablo Neira Ayuso 70e9942f17 netfilter: nf_conntrack: make event callback registration per-netns
This patch fixes an oops that can be triggered following this recipe:

0) make sure nf_conntrack_netlink and nf_conntrack_ipv4 are loaded.
1) container is started.
2) connect to it via lxc-console.
3) generate some traffic with the container to create some conntrack
   entries in its table.
4) stop the container: you hit one oops because the conntrack table
cleanup tries to report the destroy event to user-space but the
per-netns nfnetlink socket has already gone (as the nfnetlink
socket is per-netns but event callback registration is global).

To fix this situation, we make the ctnl_notifier per-netns so the
callback is registered/unregistered if the container is
created/destroyed.

Alex Bligh and Alexey Dobriyan originally proposed one small patch to
check if the nfnetlink socket is gone in nfnetlink_has_listeners,
but this is a very visited path for events, thus, it may reduce
performance and it looks a bit hackish to check for the nfnetlink
socket only to workaround this situation. As a result, I decided
to follow the bigger path choice, which seems to look nicer to me.

Chris Mason 24a7031396 Btrfs: remove free-space-cache.c WARN during log replay
The log replay code only partially loads block groups, since
the block group caching code is able to detect and deal with
extents the logging code has pinned down.

While the logging code is pinning down block groups, there is
a bogus WARN_ON we're hitting if the code wasn't able to find
an extent in the cache. This commit removes the warning because
it can happen any time there isn't a valid free space cache
for that block group.

Paul Guo 5e2afba4ec netfilter: possible unaligned packet header in ip_route_me_harder
This patch tries to fix the following issue in netfilter:
In ip_route_me_harder(), we invoke pskb_expand_head() that
rellocates new header with additional head room which can break
the alignment of the original packet header.

In one of my NAT test case, the NIC port for internal hosts is
configured with vlan and the port for external hosts is with
general configuration. If we ping an external "unknown" hosts from an
internal host, an icmp packet will be sent. We find that in
icmp_send()->...->ip_route_me_harder()->pskb_expand_head(), hh_len=18
and current headroom (skb_headroom(skb)) of the packet is 16. After
calling pskb_expand_head() the packet header becomes to be unaligned
and then our system (arch/tile) panics immediately.

description.

This patch tidies up the options by ensuring that the bool descriptions
are prefixed with "PL310 errata:" and the config options are prefixed
with PL310_ERRATA_, making it much clearer in menuconfig as to what the
workarounds are for.

Will Deacon 11ed0ba175 ARM: 7161/1: errata: no automatic store buffer drain
This patch implements a workaround for PL310 erratum 769419. On
revisions of the PL310 prior to r3p2, the Store Buffer does not
automatically drain. This can cause normal, non-cacheable writes to be
retained when the memory system is idle, leading to suboptimal I/O
performance for drivers using coherent DMA.

This patch adds an optional wmb() call to the cpu_idle loop. On systems
with an outer cache, this causes an explicit flush of the store buffer.

desc->size is supposed to be a le16 type. On a big endian system the
current code will set ->size to zero. We fixed a similar bug
on the next line but missed this one.

Phil Sutter 274252862f crypto: mv_cesa - fix hashing of chunks > 1920 bytes
This was broken by commit 7759995c75 (yes,
myself). The basic problem here is since the digest state is only saved
after the last chunk, the state array is only valid when handling the
first chunk of the next buffer. Broken since linux-3.0.
