Wong Vee Khee 82a44ae113 net: stmmac: fix kernel panic due to NULL pointer dereference of plat->est
In the case of taprio offload is not enabled, the error handling path
causes a kernel crash due to kernel NULL pointer deference.

Fix this by adding check for NULL before attempt to access 'plat->est'
on the mutex_lock() call.

The following kernel panic is observed without this patch:

Mohammad Athari Bin Ismail 63c173ff7a net: stmmac: Fix kernel panic due to NULL pointer dereference of fpe_cfg
In this patch, "net: stmmac: support FPE link partner hand-shaking
procedure", priv->plat->fpe_cfg wouldn`t be "devm_kzalloc"ed if
dma_cap->frpsel is 0 (Flexible Rx Parser is not supported in SoC) in
tc_init(). So, fpe_cfg will be remain as NULL and accessing it will cause
kernel panic.

To fix this, move the "devm_kzalloc"ing of priv->plat->fpe_cfg before
dma_cap->frpsel checking in tc_init(). Additionally, checking of
priv->dma_cap.fpesel is added before calling stmmac_fpe_link_state_handle()
as only FPE supported SoC is allowed to call the function.

Ong Boon Leong 5a5586112b net: stmmac: support FPE link partner hand-shaking procedure
In order to discover whether remote station supports frame preemption,
local station sends verify mPacket and expects response mPacket in
return from the remote station.

So, we add the functions to send and handle event when verify mPacket
and response mPacket are exchanged between the networked stations.

The mechanism to handle different FPE states between local and remote
station (link partner) is implemented using workqueue which starts a
task each time there is some sign of verify & response mPacket exchange
as check in FPE IRQ event. The task retries couple of times to try to
spot the states that both stations are ready to enter FPE ON. This allows
different end points to enable FPE at different time and verify-response
mPacket can happen asynchronously. Ultimately, the task will only turn
FPE ON when local station have both exchange response in both directions.

Thanks to Voon Weifeng for implementing the core functions for detecting
FPE events and send mPacket and phylink related change.

The current tc_add_flow() and tc_del_flow() use hardware L3 & L4 filters

Song, Yoong Siang 24877687b3 net: stmmac: fix CBS idleslope and sendslope calculation
When link speed is not 100 Mbps, port transmit rate and speed divider
are set to 8 and 1000000 respectively. These values are incorrect for

This patch adds switch statement to set the values of port transmit rate

mode of Tx Queue is changed to Data Centre Bridging (DCB). Therefore,

Yannick Vignon fe28c53ed7 net: stmmac: fix taprio configuration when base_time is in the past
The Synopsys TSN MAC supports Qbv base times in the past, but only up to a
certain limit. As a result, a taprio qdisc configuration with a small
base time (for example when treating the base time as a simple phase
offset) is not applied by the hardware and silently ignored.

This was observed on an NXP i.MX8MPlus device, but likely affects all
TSN-variants of the MAC.

Fix the issue by making sure the base time is in the future, pushing it by
an integer amount of cycle times if needed. (a similar check is already
done in several other taprio implementations, see for example
drivers/net/ethernet/intel/igc/igc_tsn.c#L116 or
drivers/net/dsa/sja1105/sja1105_ptp.h#L39).

Arnd Bergmann 8f704ef666 stmmac: fix signed 64-bit division

I observe that the last change to add the 'ul' prefix was incorrect,
as it did not turn the result of the multiplication into a 64-bit
expression on 32-bit architectures. Further, it seems that the
do_div() macro gets confused by the fact that we pass a signed
variable rather than unsigned into it.

This changes the code to instead use the div_s64() helper that is
meant for signed division, along with changing the constant suffix
to 'll' to actually make it a 64-bit argument everywhere, fixing
both of the issues I pointed out.

I'm not completely convinced that this makes the code correct, but
I'm fairly sure that we have two problems less than before.

Jose Abreu 1f705bc61a net: stmmac: Add support for CBS QDISC
This adds support for CBS reconfiguration using the TC application.

A new callback was added to TC ops struct and another one to DMA ops to
reconfigure the channel mode.

Tested in GMAC5.10.

Kees Cook a86854d0c5 treewide: devm_kzalloc() -> devm_kcalloc()
The devm_kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, devm_kcalloc().
This patch replaces cases of:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, a * b, gfp)

with:
        devm_kcalloc(handle, a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        devm_kcalloc(handle, array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        devm_kzalloc(handle, 4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

Some manual whitespace fixes were needed in this patch, as Coccinelle
really liked to write "=devm_kcalloc..." instead of "= devm_kcalloc...".

The Coccinelle script used for this was:

// Fix redundant parens around sizeof().

Jose Abreu 4dbbe8dde8 net: stmmac: Add support for U32 TC filter using Flexible RX Parser
This adds support for U32 filter by using an HW only feature called
Flexible RX Parser. This allow us to match any given packet field with a
pattern and accept/reject or even route the packet to a specific DMA
channel.

Right now we only support acception or rejection of frame and we only
support simple rules. Though, the Parser has the flexibility of jumping to
specific rules as an if condition so complex rules can be established.

This is only supported in GMAC5.10+.

The following commands can be used to test this code:

	1) Setup an ingress qdisk:
	# tc qdisc add dev eth0 handle ffff: ingress

	2) Setup a filter (e.g. filter by IP):
	# tc filter add dev eth0 parent ffff: protocol ip u32 match ip \
		src 192.168.0.3 skip_sw action drop

In every tests performed we always used the "skip_sw" flag to make sure
only the RX Parser was involved.
