The main advantge of this new upcall mechanism is that it can handle
big tickets as seen in Kerberos implementations where tickets carry
authorization data like the MS-PAC buffer with AD or the Posix Authorization
Data being discussed in IETF on the krbwg working group.
The Gssproxy program is used to perform the accept_sec_context call on the
kernel's behalf. The code is changed to also pass the input buffer straight
to upcall mechanism to avoid allocating and copying many pages as tokens can
be as big (potentially more in future) as 64KiB.

This patch adds a simple low-level voting mutex implementation
to be used to arbitrate during first man selection when no load/store
exclusive instructions are usable.
For want of a better name, these are called "vlocks". (I was
tempted to call them ballot locks, but "block" is way too confusing
an abbreviation...)
There is no function to wait for the lock to be released, and no
vlock_lock() function since we don't need these at the moment.
These could straightforwardly be added if vlocks get used for other
purposes.
For architectural correctness even Strongly-Ordered memory accesses
require barriers in order to guarantee that multiple CPUs have a
coherent view of the ordering of memory accesses. Whether or not
this matters depends on hardware implementation details of the
memory system. Since the purpose of this code is to provide a clean,
generic locking mechanism with no platform-specific dependencies the
barriers should be present to avoid unpleasant surprises on future
platforms.
Note:
* When taking the lock, we don't care about implicit background
memory operations and other signalling which may be pending,
because those are not part of the critical section anyway.
A DMB is sufficient to ensure correctly observed ordering if
the explicit memory accesses in vlock_trylock.
* No barrier is required after checking the election result,
because the result is determined by the store to
VLOCK_OWNER_OFFSET and is already globally observed due to the
barriers in voting_end. This means that global agreement on
the winner is guaranteed, even before the winner is known
locally.

This provides helper methods to coordinate between CPUs coming down
and CPUs going up, as well as documentation on the used algorithms,
so that cluster teardown and setup
operations are not done for a cluster simultaneously.
For use in the power_down() implementation:
* __mcpm_cpu_going_down(unsigned int cluster, unsigned int cpu)
* __mcpm_outbound_enter_critical(unsigned int cluster)
* __mcpm_outbound_leave_critical(unsigned int cluster)
* __mcpm_cpu_down(unsigned int cluster, unsigned int cpu)
The power_up_setup() helper should do platform-specific setup in
preparation for turning the CPU on, such as invalidating local caches
or entering coherency. It must be assembler for now, since it must
run before the MMU can be switched on. It is passed the affinity level
for which initialization should be performed.
Because the mcpm_sync_struct content is looked-up and modified
with the cache enabled or disabled depending on the code path, it is
crucial to always ensure proper cache maintenance to update main memory
right away. The sync_cache_*() helpers are used to that end.
Also, in order to prevent a cached writer from interfering with an
adjacent non-cached writer, we ensure each state variable is located to
a separate cache line.

DM RAID: Add message/status support for changing sync action
This patch adds a message interface to dm-raid to allow the user to more
finely control the sync actions being performed by the MD driver. This
gives the user the ability to initiate "check" and "repair" (i.e. scrubbing).
Two additional fields have been appended to the status output to provide more
information about the type of sync action occurring and the results of those
actions, specifically: <sync_action> and <mismatch_cnt>. These new fields
will always be populated. This is essentially the device-mapper way of doing
what MD controls through the 'sync_action' sysfs file and shows through the
'mismatch_cnt' sysfs file.

The usual scheme to initialize a cpuidle driver on a SMP is:
cpuidle_register_driver(drv);
for_each_possible_cpu(cpu) {
device = &per_cpu(cpuidle_dev, cpu);
cpuidle_register_device(device);
}
This code is duplicated in each cpuidle driver.
On UP systems, it is done this way:
cpuidle_register_driver(drv);
device = &per_cpu(cpuidle_dev, cpu);
cpuidle_register_device(device);
On UP, the macro 'for_each_cpu' does one iteration:
#define for_each_cpu(cpu, mask) \
for ((cpu) = 0; (cpu) < 1; (cpu)++, (void)mask)
Hence, the initialization loop is the same for UP than SMP.
Beside, we saw different bugs / mis-initialization / return code unchecked in
the different drivers, the code is duplicated including bugs. After fixing all
these ones, it appears the initialization pattern is the same for everyone.
Please note, some drivers are doing dev->state_count = drv->state_count. This is
not necessary because it is done by the cpuidle_enable_device function in the
cpuidle framework. This is true, until you have the same states for all your
devices. Otherwise, the 'low level' API should be used instead with the specific
initialization for the driver.
Let's add a wrapper function doing this initialization with a cpumask parameter
for the coupled idle states and use it for all the drivers.
That will save a lot of LOC, consolidate the code, and the modifications in the
future could be done in a single place. Another benefit is the consolidation of
the cpuidle_device variable which is now in the cpuidle framework and no longer
spread accross the different arch specific drivers.

not work out because of dependencies on the dmaengine driver. All the

do the switchover and remove the now unnecessary dma definitions for

The dma platform_data actually made up the majority of the spear13xx
platform code overall, so moving that into device tree files makes the
code substantially smaller.

currently only one user, which is the spear13xx platform, so we don't

The timekeeping job must be able to run early on boot
because there may be some pre-SMP (and thus pre-initcalls )
components that rely on it. The IO-APIC is one such users
as it tests the timer health by watching jiffies progression.
Given that it happens before we know the initial online
set, we can't rely on it to select a timekeeper. We need
one before SMP time otherwise we simply crash on boot.
To fix this and keep things simple for now, force the boot CPU
outside of the full dynticks range in any case and do this early
on kernel parameter parsing time.
We might want a trickier solution later, expecially for aSMP
architectures that need to assign housekeeping tasks to arbitrary
low power CPUs.
But it's still first pass KISS time for now.

This adds new debug feature information so that the DAWR can be
identified by userspace tools like GDB.
Unfortunately the DAWR doesn't sit nicely into the current description
that ptrace provides to userspace via struct ppc_debug_info. It doesn't
allow for specifying that only some ranges are possible or even the end
alignment constraints (DAWR only allows 512 byte wide ranges which can't
cross a 512 byte boundary).
After talking to Edjunior Machado (GDB ppc developer), it was decided
this was the best approach. Just mark it as debug feature DAWR and
tools like GDB can internally decide the constraints.

Chao said that kdump does does work well on his system on 3.8
without extra parameter, even iommu does not work with kdump.
And now have to append crashkernel_low=Y in first kernel to make
kdump work.
We have now modified crashkernel=X to allocate memory beyong 4G (if
available) and do not allocate low range for crashkernel if the user
does not specify that with crashkernel_low=Y. This causes regression
if iommu is not enabled. Without iommu, swiotlb needs to be setup in
first 4G and there is no low memory available to second kernel.
Set crashkernel_low automatically if the user does not specify that.
For system that does support IOMMU with kdump properly, user could
specify crashkernel_low=0 to save that 72M low ram.
-v3: add swiotlb_size() according to Konrad.
-v4: add comments what 8M is for according to hpa.
also update more crashkernel_low= in kernel-parameters.txt
-v5: update changelog according to Vivek.

The i2c-arb-gpio-challenge driver implements an I2C arbitration scheme
where masters need to claim the bus with a GPIO before they can start
a transaction. This should generally only be used when standard I2C
multimaster isn't appropriate for some reason (errata/bugs).
This driver is based on code that Simon Glass added to the i2c-s3c2410
driver in the Chrome OS kernel 3.4 tree. The current incarnation as a
mux driver is as suggested by Grant Likely. See

"Extended nohz" was used as a naming base for the full dynticks
API and Kconfig symbols. It reflects the fact the system tries
to stop the tick in more places than just idle.
But that "extended" name is a bit opaque and vague. Rename it to
"full" makes it clearer what the system tries to do under this
config: try to shutdown the tick anytime it can. The various
constraints that prevent that to happen shouldn't be considered
as fundamental properties of this feature but rather technical
issues that may be solved in the future.

There is a new generic API to get a DMA channel for a slave device (commit
9a6cecc8 "dmaengine: add helper function to request a slave DMA channel"). In
similar fashion to the DT case (commit aa3da644 "of: Add generic device tree
DMA helpers") we introduce helpers to the DMAC drivers which are enumerated by
ACPI.
The proposed extension provides the following API calls:
acpi_dma_controller_register(), devm_acpi_dma_controller_register()
acpi_dma_controller_free(), devm_acpi_dma_controller_free()
acpi_dma_simple_xlate()
acpi_dma_request_slave_chan_by_index()
acpi_dma_request_slave_chan_by_name()
The first two should be used, for example, at probe() and remove() of the
corresponding DMAC driver. At the register stage the DMAC driver supplies a
custom xlate() function to translate a struct dma_spec into struct dma_chan.
Accordingly to the ACPI Fixed DMA resource specification the only two pieces of
information the slave device has are the channel id and the request line (slave
id). Those two are represented by struct dma_spec. The
acpi_dma_request_slave_chan_by_index() provides access to the specifix FixedDMA
resource by its index. Whereas dma_request_slave_channel() takes a string
parameter to identify the DMA resources required by the slave device. To make a
slave device driver work with both DeviceTree and ACPI enumeration a simple
convention is established: "tx" corresponds to the index 0 and "rx" to the
index 1. In case of robust configuration the slave device driver unfortunately
needs to call acpi_dma_request_slave_chan_by_index() directly.
Additionally the patch provides "managed" version of the register/free pair

Comparison between buffers is stored to the dedicated structure.

The patch provides a storage for the test results in the linked list. The
gathered data could be used after test is done.
The new file 'results' represents gathered data of the in progress test. The
messages collected are printed to the kernel log as well.
Example of output:
% cat /sys/kernel/debug/dmatest/results
dma0chan0-copy0: #1: No errors with src_off=0x7bf dst_off=0x8ad len=0x3fea (0)
The message format is unified across the different types of errors. A number in
the parens represents additional information, e.g. error code, error counter,
or status.
Note that the buffer comparison is done in the old way, i.e. data is not
collected and just printed out.

The following command should return actual state of the test.
% cat /sys/kernel/debug/dmatest/run

Instead of doing
modprobe dmatest ...
modprobe -r dmatest
we allow user to run tests interactively.
The dmatest could be built as module or inside kernel. Let's consider those
cases.
1. When dmatest is built as a module...
After mounting debugfs and loading the module, the /sys/kernel/debug/dmatest
folder with nodes will be created. They are the same as module parameters with
addition of the 'run' node that controls run and stop phases of the test.
Note that in this case test will not run on load automatically.
Example of usage:
% echo dma0chan0 > /sys/kernel/debug/dmatest/channel
% echo 2000 > /sys/kernel/debug/dmatest/timeout
% echo 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/dmatest/iterations
% echo 1 > /sys/kernel/debug/dmatest/run
After a while you will start to get messages about current status or error like
in the original code.
Note that running a new test will stop any in progress test.
2. When built-in in the kernel...
The module parameters that is supplied to the kernel command line will be used
for the first performed test. After user gets a control, the test could be
interrupted or re-run with same or different parameters. For the details see
the above section "1. When dmatest is built as a module..."
In both cases the module parameters are used as initial values for the test case.
You always could check them at run-time by running
% grep -H . /sys/module/dmatest/parameters/*

This driver adds support for Infineon's new SLB 9645 TT 1.2 I2C TPMs,
which supports clockstretching, combined reads and a bus speed of
up to 400khz. The device also has a new device id.
The driver works now also fine with device trees, so you can
instantiate your device by adding:
+ tpm {
+ compatible = "infineon,slb9645tt";
+ reg = <0x20>;
+ };
for SLB 9645 devices or
+ tpm {
+ compatible = "infineon,slb9635tt";
+ reg = <0x20>;
+ };
for SLB 9635 devices
to your device tree.
tpm_i2c_infineon is also retained as a compatible id as a fallback to

This binding is intended to represent the hardware reset signals present
internally in most IC (SoC, FPGA, ...) designs.
It consists of a binding for a reset controller device (provider), and a
pair of properties, "resets" and "reset-names", to link a device node
(consumer) to its reset controller via phandle, similarly to the clock
and interrupt bindings.
The reset controller has all information necessary to reset the consumer
device. That could be provided via device tree, or it could be implemented
in hardware.
The aim is to enable device drivers to request a framework API to issue a
reset simply by providing their struct device pointer as the most common
case.

Instead of open-coding ACPI GPIO resource lookup in each driver, we provide
a helper function analogous to Device Tree version that allows drivers to
specify which GPIO resource they are interested (using an index to the GPIO
resources). The function then finds out the correct resource, translates
the ACPI GPIO number to the corresponding Linux GPIO number and returns
that.

Commit 18a3870 (ACPI / PM: Expose lists of device power resources
to user space) exposed the lists of ACPI power resources associated
with power states of ACPI devices, but it didn't expose the lists
of ACPI wakeup power resources, which also is necessary to get the
full picture of dependencies between ACPI devices and power
resources.
For this reason, for every ACPI device node having a list of ACPI
wakeup power resources associated with it, expose that list to user
space in analogy with commit 18a3870.

When booting with device-tree the function pointer for detecting context
loss is not populated. Ideally, the pm_runtime framework should be
enhanced to allow a means for reporting context/state loss and we could
avoid populating such function pointers altogether. In the interim until
a generic non-device specific solution is in place, force a restore of
the gpio bank when enabling the gpio controller.
Adds a new device-tree property for the OMAP GPIO controller to indicate
if the GPIO controller is located in a power-domain that never loses
power and hence will always maintain its logic state.

This patch adds dvfs support for exynos5440 SOC. This soc has 4 cores and
they scale at same frequency. The nature of exynos5440 clock controller is
different from previous exynos controllers so not using the common exynos
cpufreq framework. The major difference being interrupt notification for
frequency change. Also, OPP library is used for device tree parsing to get
different parameters like frequency, voltage etc. Since the opp library sorts
the frequency table in ascending order so they are again re-arranged in
descending order. This will have one-to-one mapping with the clock controller
state management logic.

Future AMD processors, starting with Family 16h, can provide software
with feedback on how the workload may respond to frequency change --
memory-bound workloads will not benefit from higher frequency, where
as compute-bound workloads will. This patch enables this "frequency
sensitivity feedback" to aid the ondemand governor to make better
frequency change decisions by hooking into the powersave bias.

Currently in ENOSPC condition when writing into unwritten space, or
punching a hole, we might need to split the extent and grow extent tree.
However since we can not allocate any new metadata blocks we'll have to
zero out unwritten part of extent or punched out part of extent, or in
the worst case return ENOSPC even though use actually does not allocate
any space.
Also in delalloc path we do reserve metadata and data blocks for the
time we're going to write out, however metadata block reservation is
very tricky especially since we expect that logical connectivity implies
physical connectivity, however that might not be the case and hence we
might end up allocating more metadata blocks than previously reserved.
So in future, metadata reservation checks should be removed since we can
not assure that we do not under reserve.
And this is where reserved space comes into the picture. When mounting
the file system we slice off a little bit of the file system space (2%
or 4096 clusters, whichever is smaller) which can be then used for the
cases mentioned above to prevent costly zeroout, or unexpected ENOSPC.
The number of reserved clusters can be set via sysfs, however it can
never be bigger than number of free clusters in the file system.
Note that this patch fixes the failure of xfstest 274 as expected.

This branch contains most fixes and enhancements to the Tegra common
clock driver. The main new feature is a driver for Tegra114, which
coupled with later device tree changes enables many devices on that
chip, such as MMC, I2C, etc.
This branch depends on a patch in:
git://git.linaro.org/people/mturquette/linux.git clk-for-3.10
Mike has stated that this branch is stable, and is aware of this
dependency and merge.
Mike's branch is based on v3.9-rc3, which includes a USB change which
causes problems on Tegra. That problem was fixed in v3.9-rc4. Hence,
this branch pulls in v3.9-rc4 to ensure bisectability as much as
possible.
This branch is based on v3.9-rc4, followed by a merge of previous Tegra
"soc" pull request, followed by a merge of clk-for-3.10.

The imx6dl is a derivative of imx6q with very limited difference. These
two SoCs are so compatible that they can be handled as one platform in
software. That said, we will not have target SOC_IMX6DL but just
reusing SOC_IMX6Q. That's why the pinctrl-imx6dl driver is added here
with symbol PINCTRL_IMX6Q controlling the build of it.

Currently, all imx pinctrl drivers maintain a big array of struct
imx_pin_reg which hard-codes data like register offset and mux mode
setting for each pin function. Every time a new imx SoC support is
added, we need to add such a big mount of data. With moving to single
kernel build, it's only matter of time to be blamed on memory consuming.
With DTC pre-processor support in place, the patch moves all these data
into device tree by redefining the PIN_FUNC_ID in imxXX-pinfunc.h and
changing the PIN_FUNC_ID parsing code a little bit.
The pin id gets re-numbered based on mux register offset, or config
register offset if the pin has no mux register, so that kernel can
identify the pin id from register offsets provided by device tree.
As a bonus point of the change, those arbitrary magic numbers standing
for particular PIN_FUNC_ID in device tree sources are now replaced by
macros to improve the readability of dts files.

It should be left to the drivers to enable and disable the device on the
MEI bus when e.g getting probed.
For drivers to be able to safely call the enable and disable hooks, the
mei_cl_ops must be set before it's probed and thus this should happen
before registering the device on the MEI bus. Hence the mei_cl_add_device()
prototype change.

Update the DMTIMER compatibility property to reflect the register level
compatibilty between devices and update the various OMAP/AM timer

By doing this we can add platform specific data applicable to specific
timer versions to the driver. For example, errata flags can be populated
for the timer versions that are impacted.

The binding documentation for the OMAP GPIO controller has the
"#interrupt-cells" property listed before "#interrupt-controller"
property but its description after.
This is confusing so we move "#interrupt-cells" after the
"interrupt-controller" property so is followed by its description.
While being there, change the properties order to be consistent with
Documentation/devicetree/bindings/interrupt-controller/interrupts.txt
and Documentation/devicetree/bindings/gpio/gpio.txt.
According with these docs, the order of the properties for a gpio-omap
device node should be:
gpio-controller;
#gpio-cells = <2>;
interrupt-controller;
#interrupt-cells = <2>;

The Allwinner sun6i (A31) has a slightly different watchdog, that
doesn't allow to use the already existing restart code.
Rework a bit the restart code to allow to plug in more easily different
restart handlers depending on the device tree.
In the past, we were also meaning sunxi as a generic name covering all
Allwinner SoCs. This won't be true anymore with the A31 (sun6i) that
differs pretty much from sun4i and sun5i, and we will end up having
sunxi, for sun4i and sun5i, and sun6i, which is neither consistent nor
convenient. So, while we're at it, also change sunxi to sun4i.

It was ok at the time of the support of only the A10 and A13 that
looks pretty much the same, but it's beginning to be troublesome with
the future addition of the Allwinner A31 (sun6i) that is quite
different, and would introduce some weird logic, where sunxi would
actually mean in some case sun4i and sun5i but without sun6i...
Moreover, it makes the compatible strings naming scheme not consistent
with other architectures, where usually for this kind of compability, we
just use the oldest SoC name that has this IP, so let's do just this.

Add a new ioctl, EXT4_IOC_SWAP_BOOT which swaps i_blocks and
associated attributes (like i_blocks, i_size, i_flags, ...) from the
specified inode with inode EXT4_BOOT_LOADER_INO (#5). This is
typically used to store a boot loader in a secure part of the
filesystem, where it can't be changed by a normal user by accident.
The data blocks of the previous boot loader will be associated with
the given inode.
This usercode program is a simple example of the usage:
int main(int argc, char *argv[])
{
int fd;
int err;
if ( argc != 2 ) {
printf("usage: ext4-swap-boot-inode FILE-TO-SWAP\n");
exit(1);
}
fd = open(argv[1], O_WRONLY);
if ( fd < 0 ) {
perror("open");
exit(1);
}
err = ioctl(fd, EXT4_IOC_SWAP_BOOT);
if ( err < 0 ) {
perror("ioctl");
exit(1);
}
close(fd);
exit(0);

Some Exynos-based boards contain secure firmware and must use firmware
operations to set up some hardware.
This patch adds firmware operations for Exynos secure firmware and a way
for board code and device tree to specify that they must be used.
Example of use:
In board code:
...MACHINE_START(...)
/* ... */
.init_early = exynos_firmware_init,
/* ... */
MACHINE_END
In device tree:
/ {
/* ... */

Some boards are running with secure firmware running in TrustZone secure
world, which changes the way some things have to be initialized.
This patch adds an interface for platforms to specify available firmware
operations and call them.
A wrapper macro, call_firmware_op(), checks if the operation is provided
and calls it if so, otherwise returns -ENOSYS to allow fallback to
legacy operation..
By default no operations are provided.
Example of use:
In code using firmware ops:
__raw_writel(virt_to_phys(exynos4_secondary_startup),
CPU1_BOOT_REG);
/* Call Exynos specific smc call */
if (call_firmware_op(cpu_boot, cpu) == -ENOSYS)
cpu_boot_legacy(...); /* Try legacy way */
gic_raise_softirq(cpumask_of(cpu), 1);
In board-/platform-specific code:
static int platformX_do_idle(void)
{
/* tell platformX firmware to enter idle */
return 0;
}
static int platformX_cpu_boot(int i)
{
/* tell platformX firmware to boot CPU i */
return 0;
}
static const struct firmware_ops platformX_firmware_ops = {
.do_idle = exynos_do_idle,
.cpu_boot = exynos_cpu_boot,
/* other operations not available on platformX */
};
static void __init board_init_early(void)
{
register_firmware_ops(&platformX_firmware_ops);

Check for NULL before calling the following operations from "struct
ieee802154_mlme_ops": assoc_req, assoc_resp, disassoc_req, start_req,
and scan_req.
This fixes a current oops where those functions are called but not
implemented. It also updates the documentation to clarify that they
are now optional by design. If a call to an unimplemented function
is attempted, the kernel returns EOPNOTSUPP via netlink.
The following operations are still required: get_phy, get_pan_id,
get_short_addr, and get_dsn.

of "ret" should not affect the rest of the code since "ret" was

Instead of using a custom binding for retrieving the GPIO that activates the

This approach has the advantage to be more generic.
For example: in the case of a board that has a PMIC supplying the LCD voltage,

The adt7310/adt7320 is the SPI version of the adt7410/adt7420. The register map
layout is a bit different, i.e. the register addresses differ between the two
variants, but the bit layouts of the individual registers are identical. So both
chip variants can easily be supported by the same driver. The issue of non
matching register address layouts is solved by a simple look-up table which
translates the I2C addresses to the SPI addresses.
The patch moves the bulk of the adt7410 driver to a common module that will be
shared by the adt7410 and adt7310 drivers. This common module implements the
driver logic and uses a set of virtual functions to perform IO access. The
adt7410 and adt7310 driver modules provide proper implementations of these IO
accessor functions for I2C respective SPI.

Add SPI driver for NVIDIA's Tegra114 SPI controller. This controller
is different than the older SoCs SPI controller in internal design as
well as register interface.
This driver supports the:
- non DMA based transfer for smaller transfer i.e. less than FIFO depth.
- APB DMA based transfer for larger transfer i.e. more than FIFO depth.
- Clock gating through runtime PM callbacks.

This adds support for the mostly register-compatible SPICTRL cores from the
GRLIB VHDL IP core library from Aeroflex Gaisler. They are normally running on
SPARC. A different entry in of_fsl_spi_match matches this core and indicates a
different hardware type that is used to set up different function pointers and
special cases.
The GRLIB core operates in cpu mode. The number of bits per word might be
limited. There might be native chipselects selected via a slave select
register. These differences to the FSL type cores, if present, are indicated by
a capabilities register. Other register and function differences exists but are
not relevant to the driver.

This makes the spi-fsl-spi driver usable in CPU mode outside of an FSL_SOC and
even an powerpc environment by moving CPM mode functionality to a separate file
that is only compiled and linked in an FSL_SOC environment and adding some
ifdefs to hide types and functions or provide alternatives.
For devicetree probing a "clock-frequency" property is used for clock frequency
instead of calls to FSL_SOC-specific functions.

This reverts commit 6ab317419c.
The commit [6ab317419c: ALSA: hda - Allow power_save_controller option
override DCAPS] changed the behavior of power_save_controller so that
it can override the driver capability. This assumed that this option
is rarely changed dynamically unlike power_save option. Too naive.
It turned out that the user-space power-management tool tries to set
power_save_controller option to 1 together with power_save option
without knowing what's actually doing. This enabled forcibly the
runtime PM of the controller, which is known to be broken om many
chips thus disabled as default.
So, the only sane fix is to revert this commit again. It was intended
to ease debugging/testing for runtime PM enablement, but obviously we
need another way for it.

Now that a display timing binding is available, convert our almost identical
binding to use the standard binding.
This patch converts the vt8500 and wm8505 framebuffer drivers and
associated dts/dtsi files to use the standard binding as defined in
bindings/video/display-timing.txt.
There are two side-effects of making this conversion:
1) The fb node should now be in the board file, rather than the soc file as
the display-timing node is a child of the fb node.
2) We still require a bits per pixel property to initialize the framebuffer
for the different lcd panels. Rather than including this as part of the
display timing, it is moved into the framebuffer node.
I have also taken the opportunity to alphabetise the includes of each
driver to avoid double-ups.

Many clock muxes of Exynos 4x12 uses mout_mpll_user_* clocks instead of
sclk_mpll as one of their parents.
This patch moves such clocks from common array into SoC-specific arrays
and adjusts their parent lists respectively.

This patch adds support for the GPIO/pinmux controller found on the VIA
VT8500 and Wondermedia WM8xxx-series SoCs.
Each pin within the controller is capable of operating as a GPIO or as
an alternate function. The pins are numbered according to their control
bank/bit so that if new pins are added, the existing numbering is maintained.
All currently supported SoCs are included: VT8500, WM8505, WM8650, WM8750 and
WM8850.

Besides being used to interface with external memory devices,
the General-Purpose Memory Controller can be used to connect
Pseudo-SRAM devices such as ethernet controllers to OMAP2+
processors using the TI GPMC as a data bus.
This patch allows an ethernet chip to be defined as an GPMC
child device node.

When booting with device-tree, retrieve GPMC settings for ONENAND from
the device-tree blob. This will allow us to remove all static settings
stored in the gpmc-nand.c in the future once the migration to
device-tree is complete.
The user must now specify the ONENAND device width in the device-tree
binding so that the GPMC can be programmed correctly. Therefore, update
the device-tree binding documentation for ONENAND devices connected to
the GPMC to reflect this.
Please note that this does not include GPMC timings for ONENAND. The
timings are being calculated at runtime.
There is some legacy code that only enables read wait monitoring for
non-OMAP3 devices. There are no known OMAP3 device issues that prevent
this feature being enabled and so when booting with device-tree use the
wait-monitoring settings described in the device-tree blob.
