Arun Ramadoss f1f3a67426 net: phy: lan87xx: use genphy_read_master_slave in read_status
To read the master slave configuration of the LAN87xx T1 phy, used the
generic phy driver genphy_read_master_slave function. Removed the local
lan87xx_read_master_slave function.

Arun Ramadoss 680baca546 net: phy: added the LAN937x phy support
LAN937x T1 switch is based on LAN87xx Phy, so reusing the init script of
the LAN87xx. There is a workaround in accessing the DSP bank register
for LAN937x Phy. Whenever there is a bank switch to DSP registers, then
we need a one dummy read access before proceeding to the actual register
access.

Arun Ramadoss 8637034bc6 net: phy: updated the initialization routine for LAN87xx
The new initialization sequence is the improvement to the existing init
routine. Init routine does soft reset, run init script and set
Hw_init. Added the new access_smi_poll_timeout() for polling smi
bank write.

Ioana Ciornei cf49939198 net: phy: microchip: remove the use of .ack_interrupt()
In preparation of removing the .ack_interrupt() callback, we must replace
its occurrences (aka phy_clear_interrupt), from the 2 places where it is
called from (phy_enable_interrupts and phy_disable_interrupts), with
equivalent functionality.

This means that clearing interrupts now becomes something that the PHY
driver is responsible of doing, before enabling interrupts and after
clearing them. Make this driver follow the new contract.

Ioana Ciornei e01a3feb8f net: phy: microchip: implement generic .handle_interrupt() callback
In an attempt to actually support shared IRQs in phylib, we now move the
responsibility of triggering the phylib state machine or just returning
IRQ_NONE, based on the IRQ status register, to the PHY driver. Having
3 different IRQ handling callbacks (.handle_interrupt(),
.did_interrupt() and .ack_interrupt() ) is confusing so let the PHY
driver implement directly an IRQ handler like any other device driver.
Make this driver follow the new convention.

Jisheng Zhang 8b7e0a01df net: phy: microchip_t1: Don't set .config_aneg

Heiner Kallweit c227ce4423 net: phy: remove calls to genphy_config_init
Supported PHY features are either auto-detected or explicitly set.
In both cases calling genphy_config_init isn't needed. All that
genphy_config_init does is removing features that are set as
supported but can't be auto-detected. Basically it duplicates the
code in genphy_read_abilities. Therefore remove such calls from
all PHY drivers.

v2:
- remove call also from new adin PHY driver
v3:
- pass NULL as config_init function pointer for dp83848

Andrew Lunn 719655a149 net: phy: Replace phy driver features u32 with link_mode bitmap
This is one step in allowing phylib to make use of link_mode bitmaps,
instead of u32 for supported and advertised features. Convert the phy
drivers to use bitmaps to indicates the features they support.

Build bitmap equivalents of the u32 values at runtime, and have the
drivers point to the appropriate bitmap. These bitmaps are shared, and
we don't want a driver to modify them. So mark them __ro_after_init.

Within phylib, the features bitmap is currently turned back into a
u32. This will be removed once the whole of phylib, and the drivers
are converted to use bitmaps.
