Modify the cp-intc driver to take all its configuration from the new
config structure. Stop referencing davinci_soc_info in any way.
Move the declaration for davinci_cp_intc_init() to
irq-davinci-cp-intc.h and make it take the new config structure as
parameter. Convert all users to the new version.
Also: since the two da8xx SoCs default all irq priorities to 7, just
drop the priority configuration at all and hardcode the channels to 7.
It will simplify the driver code and make our lives easier when it
comes to device-tree support.

According to ARM IHI 0069C (ID070116), we should use GITS_TYPER's
bits [7:4] as ITT_entry_size instead of [8:4]. Although this is
pretty annoying, it only results in a potential over-allocation
of memory, and nothing bad happens.

The Cirrus Logic Madera codecs (Cirrus Logic CS47L35/85/90/91 and WM1840)
are highly complex devices containing up to 7 programmable DSPs and many
other internal sources of interrupts plus a number of GPIOs that can be
used as interrupt inputs. The large number (>150) of internal interrupt
sources are managed by an on-board interrupt controller.
This driver provides the handling for the interrupt controller. As the
codec is accessed via regmap, we can make use of the generic IRQ
functionality from regmap to do most of the work. Only around half of
the possible interrupt source are currently of interest from the driver
so only this subset is defined. Others can be added in future if needed.
The KConfig options are not user-configurable because this driver is
mandatory so is automatically included when the parent MFD driver is
selected.

We're currently only tracking the page allocated to contain the

Pending tables for the redistributors are currently allocated
one at a time as each CPU boots. This is causing some grief
for Linux/RT (allocation from within a CPU hotplug notifier is
frown upon).
Let's move this allocation to take place at init time, when we
only have a single CPU. It means we're allocating memory for CPUs
that are not online yet, but most system will boot all of their
CPUs anyway, so that's not completely wasted.

Add support for handling 52bit guest physical address to the
VGIC layer. So far we have limited the guest physical address
to 48bits, by explicitly masking the upper bits. This patch
removes the restriction. We do not have to check if the host
supports 52bit as the gpa is always validated during an access.
(e.g, kvm_{read/write}_guest, kvm_is_visible_gfn()).
Also, the ITS table save-restore is also not affected with
the enhancement. The DTE entries already store the bits[51:8]
of the ITT_addr (with a 256byte alignment).

Now when we have a group configuration on the struct IRQ, use this state
when populating the LR and signaling interrupts as either group 0 or
group 1 to the VM. Depending on the model of the emulated GIC, and the
guest's configuration of the VMCR, interrupts may be signaled as IRQs or
FIQs to the VM.

Instead of hardcoding the shifts and masks in the GICD_IIDR register
emulation, let's add the definition of these fields to the GIC header
files and use them.
This will make things more obvious when we're going to bump the revision
in the IIDR when we'll make guest-visible changes to the implementation.

A recent extension to the GIC architecture allows a hypervisor to
arbitrarily reduce the number of LPIs available to a guest, no
matter what the GIC says about the valid range of IntIDs.
Let's factor in this information when computing the number of
available LPIs

Instead of exposing the GIC distributor IntID field in the rdist
structure that is passed to the ITS, let's replace it with a

GICv3 offers the possibility to signal SPIs using a pair of doorbells
(SETPI, CLRSPI) under the name of Message Based Interrupts (MBI).
They can be used as either traditional (edge) MSIs, or the more exotic
level-triggered flavour.
Let's implement support for platform MSI, which is the original intent
for this feature.

I have been working with the (former) maintainers for each one to ensure
that my interpretation was right and the code is definitely unused in
mainline kernels. Many had fond memories of working on the respective
ports to start with and getting them included in upstream, but also saw
no point in keeping the port alive without any users.
In the end, it seems that while the eight architectures are extremely
different, they all suffered the same fate: There was one company
in charge of an SoC line, a CPU microarchitecture and a software
ecosystem, which was more costly than licensing newer off-the-shelf
CPU cores from a third party (typically ARM, MIPS, or RISC-V). It seems
that all the SoC product lines are still around, but have not used the
custom CPU architectures for several years at this point. In contrast,
CPU instruction sets that remain popular and have actively maintained
kernel ports tend to all be used across multiple licensees.
The removal came out of a discussion that is now documented at
https://lwn.net/Articles/748074/. Unlike the original plans, I'm not
marking any ports as deprecated but remove them all at once after I made
sure that they are all unused. Some architectures (notably tile, mn10300,
and blackfin) are still being shipped in products with old kernels,
but those products will never be updated to newer kernel releases.
After this series, we still have a few architectures without mainline
gcc support:

Booting with GICR_CTLR.EnableLPI=1 is usually a bad idea, and may
result in subtle memory corruption. Detecting this is thus pretty
important.
On detecting that LPIs are still enabled, we taint the kernel (because
we're not sure of anything anymore), and try to disable LPIs. This can
fail, as implementations are allowed to implement GICR_CTLR.EnableLPI
as a one-way enable, meaning the redistributors cannot be reprogrammed
with new tables.
Should this happen, we fail probing the redistributor and warn the user
that things are pretty dire.

The vgic code is trying to be clever when injecting GICv2 SGIs,
and will happily populate LRs with the same interrupt number if
they come from multiple vcpus (after all, they are distinct
interrupt sources).
Unfortunately, this is against the letter of the architecture,
and the GICv2 architecture spec says "Each valid interrupt stored
in the List registers must have a unique VirtualID for that
virtual CPU interface.". GICv3 has similar (although slightly
ambiguous) restrictions.
This results in guests locking up when using GICv2-on-GICv3, for
example. The obvious fix is to stop trying so hard, and inject
a single vcpu per SGI per guest entry. After all, pending SGIs
with multiple source vcpus are pretty rare, and are mostly seen
in scenario where the physical CPUs are severely overcomitted.
But as we now only inject a single instance of a multi-source SGI per
vcpu entry, we may delay those interrupts for longer than strictly
necessary, and run the risk of injecting lower priority interrupts
in the meantime.
In order to address this, we adopt a three stage strategy:
- If we encounter a multi-source SGI in the AP list while computing
its depth, we force the list to be sorted
- When populating the LRs, we prevent the injection of any interrupt
of lower priority than that of the first multi-source SGI we've
injected.
- Finally, the injection of a multi-source SGI triggers the request
of a maintenance interrupt when there will be no pending interrupt
in the LRs (HCR_NPIE).
At the point where the last pending interrupt in the LRs switches
from Pending to Active, the maintenance interrupt will be delivered,
allowing us to add the remaining SGIs using the same process.

Some platforms power off GIC logic in suspend, so we need to
save/restore state. The distributor and redistributor registers need
to be handled in firmware code due to access permissions on those
registers, but the ITS registers can be restored in the kernel.
We limit this to systems where the ITS collections are implemented
in HW (as opposed to being backed by memory tables), as they are
the only ones that cannot be dealt with by the firmware.

In some randconfig scenarios, including arm-gic-v4.h results

So far, we require the hypervisor to update the VLPI properties
once the the VLPI mapping has been established. While this
makes it easy for the ITS driver, it creates a window where
an incoming interrupt can be delivered with an unknown set
of properties. Not very nice.
Instead, let's add a "properties" field to the mapping structure,
and use that to configure the VLPI before it actually gets mapped.

Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which
makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license.
By default all files without license information are under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2.
Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0'
SPDX license identifier. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.
This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne.
How this work was done:
Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of
the use cases:
- file had no licensing information it it.
- file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it,
- file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information,
Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases
where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license
had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords.
The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to
a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the
output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX
tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne. Philippe prepared the
base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files.
The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files
assessed. Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner
results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s)
to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not
immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was:
- Files considered eligible had to be source code files.
- Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5
lines of source
- File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5
lines).
All documentation files were explicitly excluded.
The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license
identifiers to apply.
- when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was
considered to have no license information in it, and the top level
COPYING file license applied.
For non */uapi/* files that summary was:

the concluded license(s).
- when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a
license but the other didn't, or they both detected different
licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred.
- In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file
resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and
which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics).
- When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was
confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
- If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier,
the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later
in time.
In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the
spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the
source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation
by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from
FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners
disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights. The
Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so
they are related.
Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets
for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the
files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks
in about 15000 files.
In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have
copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the
correct identifier.
Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual
inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch
version early this week with:
- a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected
license ids and scores
- reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+
files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct
- reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license
was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied
SPDX license was correct
This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction. This
worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the
different types of files to be modified.
These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg. Thomas wrote a script to
parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the
format that the file expected. This script was further refined by Greg
based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to
distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different
comment types.) Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to
generate the patches.

So far, we map all VPEs on all ITSs. While this is not wrong,
this is quite a big hammer, as moving a VPE around requires
all ITSs to be synchronized. Needles to say, this is an
expensive proposition.
Instead, let's switch to a mode where we issue VMAPP commands
only on ITSs that are actually involved in reporting interrupts
to the given VM.
For that purpose, we refcount the number of interrupts are are
mapped for this VM on each ITS, performing the map/unmap
operations as required. It then allows us to use this refcount
to only issue VMOVP to the ITSs that need to know about this
VM.

The current ITS driver works fine as long as normal memory and GICR
regions are located within the lower 48bit (>=0 && <2^48) physical
address space. Some of the registers GICR_PEND/PROP, GICR_VPEND/VPROP
and GITS_CBASER are handled properly but not all when configuring
the hardware with 52bit physical address.
This patch does the following changes to support 52bit PA.
-Handle 52bit PA in GITS_BASERn.
-Fix ITT_addr width to 52bits, bits[51:8].
-Fix RDbase width to 52bits, bits[51:16].
-Fix VPT_addr width to 52bits, bits[51:16].
Definition of the GITS_BASERn register when ITS PageSize is 64KB:

In order to easily provide SMP for BCM2837 on 32-bit and 64-bit
the SMP startup code was placed in irq-bcm2836. That's not the
right approach. So move this code where it belongs.

Our VDSO code makes use of macros from linux/irqchip/mips-gic.h to
provide offsets to register values, but these are trivial offsets to the
two 32 bit halves of a 64 bit value. Replace use of the macros with zero
(ie. omit adding an offset) and the size of the low 32 bit of the value.
This removes our need for linux/irqchip/mips-gic.h & prepares us for it
to be removed.

change_gic_dual() accessor function which provides equivalent
functionality. This also allows us to remove the gic_update_bits()

A long time ago, GITS_CTLR[1] used to be called GITC_CTLR.EnableVLPI.
It has been subsequently deprecated and is now an "Implementation
Defined" bit that may ot may not be set for GICv4. Brilliant.
And the current crop of the FastModel requires that bit for VLPIs
to be enabled. Oh well... Let's set it and find out what breaks.

When we don't have the DirectLPI feature, we must work around the
architecture shortcomings to be able to perform the required
maintenance (interrupt masking, clearing and injection).
For this, we create a fake device whose sole purpose is to
provide a way to issue commands as if we were dealing with LPIs
coming from that device (while they actually originate from
the ITS). This fake device doesn't have LPIs allocated to it,
but instead uses the VPE LPIs.
Of course, this could be a real bottleneck, and a naive
implementation would require 6 commands to issue an invalidation.
Instead, let's allocate at least one event per physical CPU
(rounded up to the next power of 2), and opportunistically
map the VPE doorbell to an event. This doorbell will be mapped

When a VPE is scheduled to run, the corresponding redistributor must
be told so, by setting VPROPBASER to the VM's property table, and
VPENDBASER to the vcpu's pending table.
When scheduled out, we preserve the IDAI and PendingLast bits. The
latter is specially important, as it tells the hypervisor that
there are pending interrupts for this vcpu.

We have been a little loose with our intermediate VMCR representation
where we had a 'ctlr' field, but we failed to differentiate between the
GICv2 GICC_CTLR and ICC_CTLR_EL1 layouts, and therefore ended up mapping
the wrong bits into the individual fields of the ICH_VMCR_EL2 when
emulating a GICv2 on a GICv3 system.
Fix this by using explicit fields for the VMCR bits instead.

Up to now the MAPD's ITT size field has been ignored. It encodes
the number of eventid bit minus 1. It should be used to check
the eventid when a MAPTI command is issued on a device. Let's
store the number of eventid bits in the its_device and do the
check on MAPTI. Also make sure the ITT size field does
not exceed the GITS_TYPER IDBITS field.

The GITS_IIDR revision field is used to encode the migration ABI
revision. So we need to restore it to check the table layout is
readable by the destination.
By writing the IIDR, userspace thus forces the ABI revision to be
used and this must be less than or equal to the max revision KVM
supports.

We plan to support different migration ABIs, ie. characterizing
the ITS table layout format in guest RAM. For example, a new ABI
will be needed if vLPIs get supported for nested use case.
So let's introduce an array of supported ABIs (at the moment a single
ABI is supported though). The following characteristics are foreseen
to vary with the ABI: size of table entries, save/restore operation,
the way abi settings are applied.
By default the MAX_ABI_REV is applied on its creation. In subsequent
patches we will introduce a way for the userspace to change the ABI
in use.
The entry sizes now are set according to the ABI version and not
hardcoded anymore.

As an oversight, for GICv2, we accidentally export the GICC_PMR register
in the format of the GICH_VMCR.VMPriMask field in the lower 5 bits of a
word, meaning that userspace must always use the lower 5 bits to
communicate with the KVM device and must shift the value left by 3
places to obtain the actual priority mask level.
Since GICv3 supports the full 8 bits of priority masking in the ICH_VMCR,
we have to fix the value we export when emulating a GICv2 on top of a
hardware GICv3 and exporting the emulated GICv2 state to userspace.
Take the chance to clarify this aspect of the ABI.

Our GICv3 emulation always presents ICC_SRE_EL1 with DIB/DFB set to
zero, which implies that there is a way to bypass the GIC and
inject raw IRQ/FIQ by driving the CPU pins.
Of course, we don't allow that when the GIC is configured, but
we fail to indicate that to the guest. The obvious fix is to
set these bits (and never let them being changed again).

Back in the days when the GICv3/v4 architecture was drafted,
the command to an event to an LPI number was called MAPVI.
Later on, and to avoid confusion with the GICv4 command VMAPI,
it was renamed MAPTI. We've carried the old name for a long
time, but it gets in the way of people reading the code in
the light of the public architecture specification.
Just repaint all the references and kill the old definition.

During the development of the GICv3/v4 architecture, it was
envisaged to have a CPU table, though the use for it was
never completely clear (the collection table serves that role
pretty well). It ended being dropped before the specification
was published, though it lived on in the driver.
In order to avoid people scratching their head too much, let's do
the same in the kernel.

ICC_VMCR_EL2 supports virtual access to ICC_IGRPEN1_EL1.Enable
and ICC_IGRPEN0_EL1.Enable fields. Add grpen0 and grpen1 member
variables to struct vmcr to support read and write of these fields.
Also refactor vgic_set_vmcr and vgic_get_vmcr() code.
Drop ICH_VMCR_CTLR_SHIFT and ICH_VMCR_CTLR_MASK macros and instead
use ICH_VMCR_EOI* and ICH_VMCR_CBPR* macros.

Make sure that constants which are supposed to be applied on 64-bit
data is actually unsigned long long, so they won't be truncated when
used in 32-bit mode.

Evaluate GITS_BASER_ENTRY_SIZE once as an int data (GITS_BASER<n>'s
Entry Size is 5-bit wide only), so when used as divider no reference
to __aeabi_uldivmod is generated when build for AArch32.
Use unsigned long long for GITS_BASER_PAGE_SIZE_* since they are
used in conjunction with 64-bit data.

In order to add ACPI support we need to isolate ACPI&DT common code and
move DT logic to corresponding functions. To achieve this we are using
firmware agnostic handle which can be unpacked to either DT or ACPI node.
No functional changes other than a very minor one:
1. Terminate its_init call with -ENODEV for non-DT case which allows
to remove hack from its-gic-v3.c.
2. Fix ITS base register address type (from 'unsigned long' to 'phys_addr_t'),
as a bonus we get nice string formatting.
3. Since there is only one of ITS parent domain convert it to static global
variable and drop the parameter from its_probe_one. Users can refer to it
in more convenient way then.

According to the KVM API documentation a successful MSI injection
should return a value > 0 on success.
Return possible errors in vgic_its_trigger_msi() and report a
successful injection back to userland, while also reporting the
case where the MSI could not be delivered due to the guest not
having the LPI mapped, for instance.
