Tomas Winkler 627448e85c tpm: separate cmd_ready/go_idle from runtime_pm
Fix tpm ptt initialization error:
tpm tpm0: A TPM error (378) occurred get tpm pcr allocation.

We cannot use go_idle cmd_ready commands via runtime_pm handles
as with the introduction of localities this is no longer an optional
feature, while runtime pm can be not enabled.
Though cmd_ready/go_idle provides a power saving, it's also a part of
TPM2 protocol and should be called explicitly.
This patch exposes cmd_read/go_idle via tpm class ops and removes
runtime pm support as it is not used by any driver.

When calling from nested context always use both flags:
TPM_TRANSMIT_UNLOCKED and TPM_TRANSMIT_RAW. Both are needed to resolve
tpm spaces and locality request recursive calls to tpm_transmit().
TPM_TRANSMIT_RAW should never be used standalone as it will fail
on double locking. While TPM_TRANSMIT_UNLOCKED standalone should be
called from non-recursive locked contexts.

New wrappers are added tpm_cmd_ready() and tpm_go_idle() to
streamline tpm_try_transmit code.

tpm_crb no longer needs own power saving functions and can drop using
tpm_pm_suspend/resume.

This patch cannot be really separated from the locality fix.

Winkler, Tomas 1fbad30286 tpm: tpm_crb: relinquish locality on error path.
In crb_map_io() function, __crb_request_locality() is called prior
to crb_cmd_ready(), but if one of the consecutive function fails
the flow bails out instead of trying to relinquish locality.
This patch adds goto jump to __crb_relinquish_locality() on the error path.

Tomas Winkler 888d867df4 tpm: cmd_ready command can be issued only after granting locality
The correct sequence is to first request locality and only after
that perform cmd_ready handshake, otherwise the hardware will drop
the subsequent message as from the device point of view the cmd_ready
handshake wasn't performed. Symmetrically locality has to be relinquished
only after going idle handshake has completed, this requires that
go_idle has to poll for the completion and as well locality
relinquish has to poll for completion so it is not overridden
in back to back commands flow.

Two wrapper functions are added (request_locality relinquish_locality)
to simplify the error handling.

The issue is only visible on devices that support multiple localities.

Jiandi An f5357413db tpm/tpm_crb: Use start method value from ACPI table directly
This patch gets rid of dealing with intermediate flag for start method
and use start method value from ACPI table directly.

For ARM64, the locality is handled by Trust Zone in FW.  The layout
does not have crb_regs_head.  It is hitting the following line.
dev_warn(dev, FW_BUG "Bad ACPI memory layout");

Current code excludes CRB_FL_ACPI_START for this check.  Now since
ARM64 support for TPM CRB is added, CRB_FL_CRB_SMC_START should also be
excluded from this check.

For goIdle and cmdReady where code was excluding CRB_FL_ACPI_START only
(do nothing for ACPI start method), CRB_FL_CRB_SMC_START was also
excluded as ARM64 SMC start method does not have TPM_CRB_CTRL_REQ.

However with special PPT workaround requiring CRB_FL_CRB_START to be
set in addition to CRB_FL_ACPI_START and the addition flag of SMC
start method CRB_FL_CRB_SMC_START, the code has become difficult to
maintain and undrestand.  It is better to make code deal with start
method value from ACPI table directly.

Arvind Yadav e1ec650f9a tpm: tpm_crb: constify acpi_device_id.
acpi_device_id are not supposed to change at runtime. All functions
working with acpi_device_id provided by <acpi/acpi_bus.h> work with
const acpi_device_id. So mark the non-const structs as const.

Andy Shevchenko 94116f8126 ACPI: Switch to use generic guid_t in acpi_evaluate_dsm()
acpi_evaluate_dsm() and friends take a pointer to a raw buffer of 16
bytes. Instead we convert them to use guid_t type. At the same time we
convert current users.

acpi_str_to_uuid() becomes useless after the conversion and it's safe to
get rid of it.

Jiandi An 08eff49d63 tpm/tpm_crb: Enable TPM CRB interface for ARM64
This enables TPM Command Response Buffer interface driver for
ARM64 and implements an ARM specific TPM CRB start method that
invokes a Secure Monitor Call (SMC) to request the TrustZone
Firmware to execute or cancel a TPM 2.0 command.

In ARM, TrustZone security extensions enable a secure software
environment with Secure Monitor mode.  A Secure Monitor Call
(SMC) is used to enter the Secure Monitor mode and perform a
Secure Monitor service to communicate with TrustZone firmware
which has control over the TPM hardware.

Jarkko Sakkinen 877c57d0d0 tpm_crb: request and relinquish locality 0
This commit adds support for requesting and relinquishing locality 0 in
tpm_crb for the course of command transmission.

In order to achieve this, two new callbacks are added to struct
tpm_class_ops:

- request_locality
- relinquish_locality

With CRB interface you first set either requestAccess or relinquish bit
from TPM_LOC_CTRL_x register and then wait for locAssigned and
tpmRegValidSts bits to be set in the TPM_LOC_STATE_x register.

The reason why were are doing this is to make sure that the driver
will work properly with Intel TXT that uses locality 2. There's no
explicit guarantee that it would relinquish this locality. In more
general sense this commit enables tpm_crb to be a well behaving
citizen in a multi locality environment.

This fix enables a platform to enter the idle state (suspend-to-idle)

The driver needs to request explicitly go_idle upon completion
from the pm suspend handler.
The runtime pm is disabled on suspend during prepare state by calling
pm_runtime_get_noresume, hence we cannot relay on runtime pm to leave
the device in low power state. Symmetrically cmdReady is called
upon resume.

Jason Gunthorpe b4e2eb0651 tpm crb: Work around BIOS's that report the wrong ACPI region size
The expectation is that the if the CRB cmd/rsp buffer falls within the
ACPI region that the entire buffer will be within the reason. Otherwise
resource reservation will fail when it crosses regions.

Work around this BIOS bug by limiting the cmd/rsp buffer to the length
of the declared ACPI region. BIOS vendors should fix this by making
the ACPI and register length declarations consistent.

The framework calls cmd_ready from the pm_runtime_resume handler
and go idle from the pm_runtime_suspend handler.
The TPM framework should wake the device before transmit and receive.
In case the runtime_pm framework is not compiled in or enabled, the device
will be in the permanent ready state.

command and response buffer addresses in order to remap the for access.

Jarkko Sakkinen 72fd50e14e tpm_crb: fix crb_req_canceled behavior
The req_canceled() callback is used by tpm_transmit() periodically to
check whether the request has been canceled while it is receiving a
response from the TPM.

The TPM_CRB_CTRL_CANCEL register was cleared already in the crb_cancel
callback, which has two consequences:

* Cancel might not happen.
* req_canceled() always returns zero.

A better place to clear the register is when starting to send a new
command. The behavior of TPM_CRB_CTRL_CANCEL is described in the
section 5.5.3.6 of the PTP specification.

Jason Gunthorpe cae8b441fc tpm: Factor out common startup code
The TCG standard startup sequence (get timeouts, tpm startup, etc) for
TPM and TPM2 chips is being open coded in many drivers, move it into
the core code.

tpm_tis and tpm_crb are used as the basis for the core code
implementation and the easy drivers are converted. In the process
several small drivers bugs relating to error handling this flow
are fixed.

For now the flag TPM_OPS_AUTO_STARTUP is optional to allow a staged
driver roll out, but ultimately all drivers should use this flow and
the flag removed. Some drivers still do not implement the startup
sequence at all and will need to be tested with it enabled.

Jarkko Sakkinen 422eac3f7d tpm_crb: fix mapping of the buffers
On my Lenovo x250 the following situation occurs:

[18697.813871] tpm_crb MSFT0101:00: can't request region for resource
[mem 0xacdff080-0xacdfffff]

The mapping of the control area overlaps the mapping of the command
buffer. The control area is mapped over page, which is not right. It
should mapped over sizeof(struct crb_control_area).

Fixing this issue unmasks another issue. Command and response buffers
can overlap and they do interleave on this machine. According to the PTP
specification the overlapping means that they are mapped to the same
buffer.

The commit has been also on a Haswell NUC where things worked before
applying this fix so that the both code paths for response buffer
initialization are tested.

Jarkko Sakkinen dcbeab1946 tpm: fix crash in tpm_tis deinitialization
rmmod crashes the driver because tpm_chip_unregister() already sets ops
to NULL. This commit fixes the issue by moving tpm2_shutdown() to
tpm_chip_unregister(). This commit is also cleanup because it removes
duplicate code from tpm_crb and tpm_tis to the core.

To support the force mode in tpm_tis we need to use resource locking
in tpm_crb as well, via devm_ioremap_resource.

The light restructuring better aligns crb and tis and makes it easier
to see the that new changes make sense.

The control area and its associated buffers do not always fall in the
range of the iomem resource given by the ACPI object. This patch fixes
the issue by mapping the buffers if this is the case.

ioread32 and readl are defined to read from PCI style memory, ie little
endian and return the result in host order. On platforms where a
