As we want gpio_chip .get() calls to be able to return negative
error codes and propagate to drivers, we need to go over all
drivers and make sure their return values are clamped to [0,1].
We do this by using the ret = !!(val) design pattern.

Most interrupt flow handlers do not use the irq argument. Those few
which use it can retrieve the irq number from the irq descriptor.

set_irq_flags is ARM specific with custom flags which have genirq
equivalents. Convert drivers to use the genirq interfaces directly, so we
can kill off set_irq_flags. The translation of flags is as follows:
IRQF_VALID -> !IRQ_NOREQUEST
IRQF_PROBE -> !IRQ_NOPROBE
IRQF_NOAUTOEN -> IRQ_NOAUTOEN
For IRQs managed by an irqdomain, the irqdomain core code handles clearing
and setting IRQ_NOREQUEST already, so there is no need to do this in
.map() functions and we can simply remove the set_irq_flags calls. Some
users also modify IRQ_NOPROBE and this has been maintained although it
is not clear that is really needed. There appears to be a great deal of
blind copy and paste of this code.

I recently did a rework of the smc91x driver and did some build-testing
by compiling hundreds of randconfig kernels. Unfortunately, my script
was wrong and did not actually test the configurations that mattered,
so I introduced stupid typos in almost every file I touched.
I fixed my script now, built all configurations that actually matter
and fixed all the typos, this is the result.

The smc91x driver traditionally gets configured at compile-time
for whichever hardware it runs on. This no longer works on
ARM as we continue to move to building all-in-one kernels.
Most ARM configurations with this driver already use run-time
configuration through DT or through platform_data, but a
few have not been converted yet.
I've checked all ARM boards that use this driver in their
legacy board files, and converted the ones that were using
compile-time configuration in smc91x.h to behave like the
other ones and provide the interrupt polarity along with
the MMIO configuration (width, stride) at platform device
creation time.
In particular, these combinations were previously selectable
in Kconfig but in fact broken:
- sa1100 assabet plus pleb
- msm combined with any other armv6/v7 platform
- pxa-idp combined with any non-DMA pxa variant
- LogicPD PXA270 combined with any other pxa
- nomadik combined with any other armv4/v5 platform,
e.g. versatile.
None of these seem critical enough to warrant a backport
to stable, but it would be nice to clean this up for good.

StrongARM core uses RCSR SMR bit to tell to bootloader that it was reset
by entering the sleep mode. After we have resumed, there is little point
in having that bit enabled. Moreover, if this bit is set before reboot,
the bootloader can become confused. Thus clear the SMR bit on resume
just before clearing the scratchpad (resume address) register.

Low GPIO pins use an interrupt in SC interrupts space. However it's
possible to handle them as if all the GPIO interrupts are instead tied
to single GPIO handler, which later decodes GEDR register and
chain-calls next IRQ handler. So split first 11 interrupts into system
part (IRQ_GPIO0_SC - IRQ_GPIO10_SC) which work exactly like the rest of
system controller interrupts and real GPIO interrupts
(IRQ_GPIO0..IRQ_GPIO10). A single handler sa1100_gpio_handler then
decodes and calls next handler.

While there normally is no reason to have a pull request for asm-generic
but have all changes get merged through whichever tree needs them, I do
have a series for 3.19. There are two sets of patches that change
significant portions of asm/io.h, and this branch contains both in order
to resolve the conflicts:
- Will Deacon has done a set of patches to ensure that all architectures
define {read,write}{b,w,l,q}_relaxed() functions or get them by
including asm-generic/io.h. These functions are commonly used on ARM
specific drivers to avoid expensive L2 cache synchronization implied by
the normal {read, write}{b,w,l,q}, but we need to define them on all
architectures in order to share the drivers across architectures and
to enable CONFIG_COMPILE_TEST configurations for them
- Thierry Reding has done an unrelated set of patches that extends
the asm-generic/io.h file to the degree necessary to make it useful
on ARM64 and potentially other architectures.

Merge tag 'asm-generic-for-linus' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arnd/asm-generic
Pull asm-generic asm/io.h rewrite from Arnd Bergmann:
"While there normally is no reason to have a pull request for
asm-generic but have all changes get merged through whichever tree
needs them, I do have a series for 3.19.
There are two sets of patches that change significant portions of
asm/io.h, and this branch contains both in order to resolve the
conflicts:
- Will Deacon has done a set of patches to ensure that all
architectures define {read,write}{b,w,l,q}_relaxed() functions or
get them by including asm-generic/io.h.
These functions are commonly used on ARM specific drivers to avoid
expensive L2 cache synchronization implied by the normal
{read, write}{b,w,l,q}, but we need to define them on all
architectures in order to share the drivers across architectures
and to enable CONFIG_COMPILE_TEST configurations for them
- Thierry Reding has done an unrelated set of patches that extends
the asm-generic/io.h file to the degree necessary to make it useful
on ARM64 and potentially other architectures"

SA-1111 uses internal MMIO space offsets as a device name, so device
name for sa1111 pcmcia is 1800 (PCMCIA is at offset 0x1800).

Both SA1100 framebuffer and PCMCIA drivers require knowledge of cpu
frequency to correctly program timings. Currently they receive timing
information by calling cpufreq_get(0). However if cpu frequency driver
is not enabled (e.g. due to unsupported DRAM chip/board on sa1110)
cpufreq_get(0) returns 0, causing incorrect timings to be programmed.
Add cpu clock returning cpu frequency, to be used by sa11x0 fb and
pcmcia drivers.

This patch just reorders functions/data inside sa1100 irq driver to be
able to merge functions that have the same code after converting to
irqdomains and hwirq. No real code changes.

Switch internally to using hardware irq numbers (hwirq). In case of GPIO
interrupts, hwirq is equal to GPIO number. In case of system interrupts,
hwirq is equal to interrupt number in the interrupt controller.

IRQ_GPIO11_27 is a shared IRQ receiving IRQs from "high" GPIOs. It is
still handled by sa1100_normal_chip, so there is no point to exclude it
from "normal" irq domain. The IRQF_VALID flag set by domain map function
will be cleared by irq_set_chained_handler() internally.

Use irqdomains to manage both system and GPIO interrupts on SA1100 SoC
family. This opens path to further cleanup and unification in sa1100 IRQ
drivers.

Add sa1100_handle_irq implementating handle_irq for sa1100 platform.
It is more or less a translation of old assembly code from assembler to
plain C. Also install this irq handler from sa1100_init_irq().

Use gpio-charger driver instead of pda-power: it automatically cares
about used gpio and since collie does not differentiate between usb and
ac chargers, pda-power is an overkill for it.
As a bonus this allows us to remove gpio_to_irq calls from machine init
call - it is fragile. These gpio_to_irq calls will fail if gpios are
registered later, via device driver mechanisms.

MMIO accessors such as readl() and writel() want a void __iomem * for
the address. Update the BSE nanoEngine PCI driver to pass such pointers
instead of unsigned long in preparation to converting ARM to use generic
and more rigidly typed accessors.

of scripts/Makefile.build)

The platforms selecting NEED_MACH_MEMORY_H defined the start address of
their physical memory in the respective <mach/memory.h>. With
ARM_PATCH_PHYS_VIRT=y (which is quite common today) this is useless
though because the definition isn't used but determined dynamically.
So remove the definitions from all <mach/memory.h> and provide the
Kconfig symbol PHYS_OFFSET with the respective defaults in case
ARM_PATCH_PHYS_VIRT isn't enabled.
This allows to drop the dependency of PHYS_OFFSET on !NEED_MACH_MEMORY_H
which prevents compiling an integrator nommu-kernel.
(CONFIG_PAGE_OFFSET which has "default PHYS_OFFSET if !MMU" expanded to
"0x" because CONFIG_PHYS_OFFSET doesn't exist as INTEGRATOR selects
NEED_MACH_MEMORY_H.)

ARM: sa1100: collie.c: fall back to jedec_probe flash detection
Unfortunately the detection was challenged on the defective unit used for tests:
one of the NOR chips did not respond to the CFI query.
Moreover that bad device needed extra delays on erase-suspend/resume cycles.
Tested personally on 3 different units and with feedback of two other users.
