Lad Prabhakar 22ae6415c7 usb: renesas_usbhs: Use platform_get_irq() to get the interrupt
platform_get_resource(pdev, IORESOURCE_IRQ, ..) relies on static
allocation of IRQ resources in DT core code, this causes an issue
when using hierarchical interrupt domains using "interrupts" property
in the node as this bypasses the hierarchical setup and messes up the
irq chaining.

In preparation for removal of static setup of IRQ resource from DT core
code use platform_get_irq().

Drop irqflags member from struct usbhs_priv as this driver is used by
two non DT users sh7757lcr and ecovec24 which do not pass
IORESOURCE_IRQ_SHAREABLE as part of their pdata. Along this drop the
IRQF_SHARED flag handling in the code.

Eugeniu Rosca fef2263688 usb: renesas_usbhs: enable DVSE interrupt
Commit [1] enabled the possibility of checking the DVST (Device State
Transition) bit of INTSTS0 (Interrupt Status Register 0) and calling
the irq_dev_state() handler if the DVST bit is set. But neither
commit [1] nor commit [2] actually enabled the DVSE (Device State
Transition Interrupt Enable) bit in the INTENB0 (Interrupt Enable
Register 0). As a consequence, irq_dev_state() handler is getting
called as a side effect of other (non-DVSE) interrupts being fired,
which definitely can't be relied upon, if DVST notifications are of
any value.

Why this doesn't hurt is because usbhsg_irq_dev_state() currently
doesn't do much except of a dev_dbg(). Once more work is added to
the handler (e.g. detecting device "Suspended" state and notifying
other USB gadget components about it), enabling DVSE becomes a hard
requirement. Do it in a standalone commit for better visibility and
clear explanation.

Eugeniu Rosca 5022204a46 usb: renesas_usbhs: simplify usbhs_status_get_device_state()
Similar to usbhs_status_get_ctrl_stage(), *_get_device_state() is not
supposed to return any error code since its return value is the DVSQ
bitfield of the INTSTS0 register. According to SoC HW manual rev1.00,
every single value of DVSQ[2:0] is valid and none is an error:

----8<----
Device State
000: Powered state
001: Default state
010: Address state
011: Configuration state
1xx: Suspended state
----8<----

Hence, simplify the function body. The motivation behind dropping the
switch/case construct is being able to implement reading the suspended
state. The latter (based on the above DVSQ[2:0] description) doesn't
have a unique value, but is rather a list of states (which makes
switch/case less suitable for reading/validating it):

100: (Suspended) Powered state
101: (Suspended) Default state
110: (Suspended) Address state
111: (Suspended) Configuration state

Yoshihiro Shimoda 426d3ff2f5 usb: renesas_usbhs: Use struct platform_callback pointer
Now the driver fixes the issue of the commit 482982062f ("usb:
gadget: renesas_usbhs: bugfix: don't modify platform data") by
using usbhs_mod_info.get_vbus, this patches uses the pointer
instead of copied value to avoid redundancy. Note that struct
renesas_usbhs_driver_param has to use copied value because
the driver has to set some members (e.g. buswait_bwait).

Yoshihiro Shimoda ccc3264c24 usb: renesas_usbhs: Avoid to write platform_data's value
The very old commit 482982062f ("usb: gadget: renesas_usbhs:
bugfix: don't modify platform data") changed to use copied whole
structures values to fix the "hung-up" issue. However, we also
can fix the issue if the driver copies the get_vbus function
pointer to the driver's value.

So, this patch adds get_vbus member into struct usbhs_mod_info and
use the pointer instead of struct renesas_usbhs_platform_callback.

Greg Kroah-Hartman 1250413a81 USB: renesas_usbhs: Remove redundant license text
Now that the SPDX tag is in all USB files, that identifies the license
in a specific and legally-defined manner. So the extra GPL text wording
can be removed as it is no longer needed at all.

This is done on a quest to remove the 700+ different ways that files in
the kernel describe the GPL license text. And there's unneeded stuff
like the address (sometimes incorrect) for the FSF which is never
needed.

No copyright headers or other non-license-description text was removed.

Greg Kroah-Hartman 5fd54ace47 USB: add SPDX identifiers to all remaining files in drivers/usb/
It's good to have SPDX identifiers in all files to make it easier to
audit the kernel tree for correct licenses.

Update the drivers/usb/ and include/linux/usb* files with the correct
SPDX license identifier based on the license text in the file itself.
The SPDX identifier is a legally binding shorthand, which can be used
instead of the full boiler plate text.

This work is based on a script and data from Thomas Gleixner, Philippe
Ombredanne, and Kate Stewart.

Yoshihiro Shimoda 519d8bd4b5 usb: renesas_usbhs: fix clearing the {BRDY,BEMP}STS condition
The previous driver is possible to stop the transfer wrongly.
For example:
 1) An interrupt happens, but not BRDY interruption.
 2) Read INTSTS0. And than state->intsts0 is not set to BRDY.
 3) BRDY is set to 1 here.
 4) Read BRDYSTS.
 5) Clear the BRDYSTS. And then. the BRDY is cleared wrongly.

Remarks:
 - The INTSTS0.BRDY is read only.
  - If any bits of BRDYSTS are set to 1, the BRDY is set to 1.
  - If BRDYSTS is 0, the BRDY is set to 0.

So, this patch adds condition to avoid such situation. (And about
NRDYSTS, this is not used for now. But, avoiding any side effects,
this patch doesn't touch it.)

Arnd Bergmann 672bfdaa31 usb: renesas_usbhs: avoid uninitialized variable use
After the renesas_usbhs driver is enabled in ARM multi_v7_defconfig,
we now get a new warning:

renesas_usbhs/mod.c: In function 'usbhs_interrupt':
renesas_usbhs/mod.c:246:7: warning: 'intenb1' may be used uninitialized in this function [-Wmaybe-uninitialized]

gcc correctly points to a problem here, for the case that the
device is in host mode, we use the intenb1 variable without
having assigned it first. The state->intsts1 has a similar
problem, but gcc cannot know that.

This avoids the problem by initializing both sides of the
comparison to zero when we don't read them from the respective
registers.
