Aneesh Kumar K.V bf6b7661f4 powerpc/book3s64/radix: Add kernel command line option to disable radix GTSE
This adds a kernel command line option that can be used to disable GTSE support.
Disabling GTSE implies kernel will make hcalls to invalidate TLB entries.

This was done so that we can do VM migration between configs that enable/disable
GTSE support via hypervisor. To migrate a VM from a system that supports
GTSE to a system that doesn't, we can boot the guest with
radix_hcall_invalidate=on, thereby forcing the guest to use hcalls for TLB
invalidates.

The check for hcall availability is done in pSeries_setup_arch so that
the panic message appears on the console. This should only happen on
a hypervisor that doesn't force the guest to hash translation even
though it can't handle the radix GTSE=0 request via CAS. With
radix_hcall_invalidate=on if the hypervisor doesn't support hcall_rpt_invalidate
hcall it should force the LPAR to hash translation.

Alexey Kardashevskiy 978bff4e52 powerpc/pseries/svm: Allow IOMMU to work in SVM
H_PUT_TCE_INDIRECT uses a shared page to send up to 512 TCE to
a hypervisor in a single hypercall. This does not work for secure VMs
as the page needs to be shared or the VM should use H_PUT_TCE instead.

This disables H_PUT_TCE_INDIRECT by clearing the FW_FEATURE_PUT_TCE_IND
feature bit so SVMs will map TCEs using H_PUT_TCE.

This is not a part of init_svm() as it is called too late after FW
patching is done and may result in a warning like this:

[ 3.727716] Firmware features changed after feature patching!
[ 3.727965] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 1 at (...)arch/powerpc/lib/feature-fixups.c:466 check_features+0xa4/0xc0

Alexey Kardashevskiy 17a0364cb0 powerpc/pseries/iommu: Separate FW_FEATURE_MULTITCE to put/stuff features
H_PUT_TCE_INDIRECT allows packing up to 512 TCE updates into a single
hypercall; H_STUFF_TCE can clear lots in a single hypercall too.

However, unlike H_STUFF_TCE (which writes the same TCE to all entries),
H_PUT_TCE_INDIRECT uses a 4K page with new TCEs. In a secure VM
environment this means sharing a secure VM page with a hypervisor which
we would rather avoid.

This splits the FW_FEATURE_MULTITCE feature into FW_FEATURE_PUT_TCE_IND
and FW_FEATURE_STUFF_TCE. "hcall-multi-tce" in
the "/rtas/ibm,hypertas-functions" device tree property sets both;
the "multitce=off" kernel command line parameter disables both.

This should not cause behavioural change.

Paul Mackerras 3f4ab2f83b powerpc/pseries: Fixes for the "ibm,architecture-vec-5" options
This fixes the byte index values for some of the option bits in
the "ibm,architectur-vec-5" property. The "platform facilities options"
bits are in byte 17 not byte 14, so the upper 8 bits of their
definitions need to be 0x11 not 0x0E. The "sub processor support" option
is in byte 21 not byte 15.

Note none of these options are actually looked up in
"ibm,architecture-vec-5" at this time, so there is no bug.

When checking whether option bits are set, we should check that
the offset of the byte being checked is less than the vector
length that we got from the hypervisor.

Jesse Larrew 5d88aa85c0 powerpc/pseries: Update CPU maps when device tree is updated
Platform events such as partition migration or the new PRRN firmware
feature can cause the NUMA characteristics of a CPU to change, and these
changes will be reflected in the device tree nodes for the affected
CPUs.

This patch registers a handler for Open Firmware device tree updates
and reconfigures the CPU and node maps whenever the associativity
changes. Currently, this is accomplished by marking the affected CPUs in
the cpu_associativity_changes_mask and allowing
arch_update_cpu_topology() to retrieve the new associativity information
using hcall_vphn().

Protecting the NUMA cpu maps from concurrent access during an update
operation will be addressed in a subsequent patch in this series.

Nathan Fontenot f0ff7eb483 powerpc/pseries: Update firmware_has_feature() to check architecture vector 5 bits
The firmware_has_feature() function makes it easy to check for supported
features of the hypervisor. This patch extends the capability of
firmware_has_feature() to include checking for specified bits
in vector 5 of the architecture vector as reported in the device tree.

As part of this the #defines used for the architecture vector are re-defined
such that each option has the index into vector 5 and the feature bit encoded
into it. This makes checking for architecture bits when initiating data
for firmware_has_feature much easier.

Anton Blanchard b6dcde5c74 powerpc: Fix hypervisor TLB batching
Profiling of a page fault scalability microbenchmark shows flush_hash_range
is not calling the batch hpte invalidate hcall (H_BULK_REMOVE).

It turns out we have a duplicate firmware feature for hcall-bulk and the

batch and always do individual invalidates.

The patch below removes the duplicate and shifts FW_FEATURE_CMO to close
the gap. With the patch applied the single threaded page fault rate improves

Michael Ellerman 36f8a2c4c6 [POWERPC] Add CONFIG_PPC_PSERIES_DEBUG to enable debugging for platforms/pseries
Add a DEBUG config setting which turns on all (most) of the debugging
under platforms/pseries.

To have this take effect we need to remove all the #undef DEBUG's, in
various files. We leave the #undef DEBUG in platforms/pseries/lpar.c,
as this enables debugging printks from the low-level hash table routines,
and tends to make your system unusable. If you want those enabled you
still have to turn them on by hand.

Also some of the RAS code has a DEBUG block which causes a functional
change, so I've keyed this off a different (non-existant) debug #define.

This is only enabled if you have PPC_EARLY_DEBUG enabled also.
