Linus Torvalds 11c7052998 ARM: SoC drivers for 6.3
As usual, there are lots of minor driver changes across SoC platforms
 from  NXP, Amlogic, AMD Zynq, Mediatek, Qualcomm, Apple and Samsung.
 These usually add support for additional chip variations in existing
 drivers, but also add features or bugfixes.
 
 The SCMI firmware subsystem gains a unified raw userspace interface
 through debugfs, which can be used for validation purposes.
 
 Newly added drivers include:

Saravana Kannan e2bbea770c irqchip/irq-imx-gpcv2: Mark fwnode device as not initialized
Since this device is only partially initialized by the irqchip driver,
we need to mark the fwnode device as not initialized. This is to let
fw_devlink know that the device will be completely initialized at a
later point. That way, fw_devlink will continue to defer the probe of
the power domain consumers till the power domain driver successfully
binds to the struct device and completes the initialization of the
device.

Lucas Stach 9ec590a8a1 soc: imx: imx8mp-blk-ctrl: set HDMI LCDIF panic read hurry level
Same as done for both LCDIF interfaces in the MEDIA domain, set
the panic priority of the LCDIF instance in the HDMI domain to
the maximium NoC priority of 7 to minimize chances of display
underflows.

Lucas Stach 06a9a229b1 soc: imx: imx8m-blk-ctrl: set LCDIF panic read hurry level
When the LCDIF block signals a panic condition due to the display FIFO
falling below the threshold, the priority at the NoC level is boosted
to the value set in the LCDIF_ARCACHE_CTRL register of i.MX8MP mediamix
blk-ctrl. Same as all other blk-ctrl registers this register is reset
when the domain is powered down. Initialize the panic hurry levels for
both LCIF interfaces to the maximium priority (same as downstream TF-A
and proven to work with the other priorities set in the interconnect
driver) when coming back from power down.

Lucas Stach 21b84ebeee soc: imx: imx8mp-blk-ctrl: don't set power device name
Setting the device name after it has been registered confuses the sysfs
cleanup paths. This has already been fixed for the imx8m-blk-ctrl driver in
b64b46fbaa ("Revert "soc: imx: imx8m-blk-ctrl: set power device name""),
but the same problem exists in imx8mp-blk-ctrl.

Lucas Stach 9d3975f27e soc: imx: add Kconfig symbols for blk-ctrl drivers
Currently the dependencies of the blk-ctrl drivers are not fully
described in Kconfig, which can trip over the compile tests on
platforms where those drivers are not usually enabled. Add a
non user-selectable symbol to be describe those dependencies.

Lucas Stach b814eda949 soc: imx: imx8mp-blk-ctrl: enable global pixclk with HDMI_TX_PHY PD
NXP internal information shows that the PHY refclk is gated by the
GLOBAL_TX_PIX_CLK_EN bit, so to allow the PHY PLL to lock without the
LCDIF being already active, tie this bit to the HDMI_TX_PHY power
domain.

Xiaolei Wang 836fb30949 soc: imx8m: Enable OCOTP clock before reading the register
Commit 7d981405d0 ("soc: imx8m: change to use platform driver") ever
removed the dependency on bootloader for enabling OCOTP clock.  It
helped to fix a kexec kernel hang issue.  But unfortunately it caused
a regression on CAAM driver and got reverted.

This is the second try to enable the OCOTP clock by directly calling
clock API instead of indirectly enabling the clock via nvmem API.

Depending of the boot sequence 'bus' genpd could be probed after imx8m-blk-ctrl

i.MX93 mediamix blk ctrl has registers to set QoS(priority) value.
It support default QoS value and cfg QoS value. Set an initial

In case the power domain clock are ungated before the reset is asserted,
the system might freeze completely. This is likely due to a device is an
undefined state being attached to bus, which sporadically leads to a bus
hang. Assert the reset before the clock are enabled to assure the device
is in defined state before being attached to bus.

Laurent Pinchart fa231bef3b soc: imx: gpcv2: Fix clock disabling imbalance in error path
The imx_pgc_power_down() starts by enabling the domain clocks, and thus
disables them in the error path. Commit 18c98573a4 ("soc: imx: gpcv2:
add domain option to keep domain clocks enabled") made the clock enable
conditional, but forgot to add the same condition to the error path.
This can result in a clock enable/disable imbalance. Fix it.

Fabio Estevam c137fb8909 soc: imx: Remove Layerscape check
Since commit 4ebd29f916 ("soc: imx: Register SoC device only on i.MX
boards") the soc-imx driver is only registered on i.MX platforms as
intended.

This means that we no longer need to do a specific check for
Layerscape.

Stephan Gerhold 4ebd29f916 soc: imx: Register SoC device only on i.MX boards
At the moment, using the ARM32 multi_v7_defconfig always results in two
SoCs being exposed in sysfs. This is wrong, as far as I'm aware the
Qualcomm DragonBoard 410c does not actually make use of a i.MX SoC. :)

This happens because imx_soc_device_init() registers the soc device
unconditionally, even when running on devices that do not make use of i.MX.
Arnd already reported this more than a year ago and even suggested a fix
similar to this commit, but for some reason it was never submitted.

Fix it by checking if the "__mxc_cpu_type" variable was actually
initialized by earlier platform code. On devices without i.MX it will
simply stay 0.
