Lokesh Vutla dae320ec31 ARM: dts: DRA7: change address-cells and size-cells
DRA7 SoC has the capability to support DDR memory upto 4GB. In order to
represent this in memory dt node, the address-cells and size cells
should be 2. So, changing the address-cells and size-cells to 2 and
updating the memory nodes accordingly.

Felipe Balbi 0331966df0 arm: boot: beaglex15: pass correct interrupt
According to latest schematics [1], GPIO_1/VBUSDET
on TPS659038 is tied to AM57x GPIO4_21. We can use
that as a VBUS interrupt, instead of relying on
PMIC's VBUS interrupts which don't seem to be firing
on x15 at all.

A follow up patch will add support for using this
GPIO-based interrupt mechanism for notifying about
VBUS.

Felipe Balbi 51c4cfef56 rtc: ds1307: fix kernel splat due to wakeup irq handling
Since commit 3fffd12839 ("i2c: allow specifying
separate wakeup interrupt in device tree") we have
automatic wakeup irq support for i2c devices. That
commit missed the fact that rtc-1307 had its own
wakeup irq handling and ended up introducing a
kernel splat for at least Beagle x15 boards.

Fix that by reverting original commit _and_ passing
correct interrupt names on DTS so i2c-core can
choose correct IRQ as wakeup.

Now that we have automatic wakeirq support, we can
revert the original commit which did it manually.

Fixes the following warning:

[   10.346582] WARNING: CPU: 1 PID: 263 at linux/drivers/base/power/wakeirq.c:43 dev_pm_attach_wake_irq+0xbc/0xd4()

Tomi Valkeinen 7e381ec6a3 ARM: dts: am57xx-beagle-x15: set VDD_SD to always-on
LDO1 regulator (VDD_SD) is connected to SoC's vddshv8. vddshv8 needs to
be kept always powered (see commit 5a0f93c657 ("ARM: dts: Add
am57xx-beagle-x15"), but at the moment VDD_SD is enabled/disabled
depending on whether an SD card is inserted or not.

This patch sets LDO1 regulator to always-on.

This patch has a side effect of fixing another issue, HDMI DDC not
working when SD card is not inserted:

Why this happens is that the tpd12s015 (HDMI level shifter/ESD
protection chip) has LS_OE GPIO input, which needs to be enabled for the
HDMI DDC to work. LS_OE comes from gpio6_28. The pin that provides
gpio6_28 is powered by vddshv8, and vddshv8 comes from VDD_SD.

So when SD card is not inserted, VDD_SD is disabled, and LS_OE stays
off.

The proper fix for the HDMI DDC issue would be to maybe have the pinctrl
framework manage the pin specific power.

Apparently this fixes also a third issue (copy paste from Kishon's
patch):

ldo1_reg in addition to being connected to the io lines is also
connected to the card detect line. On card removal, omap_hsmmc
driver does a regulator_disable causing card detect line to be
pulled down. This raises a card insertion interrupt and once the
MMC core detects there is no card inserted, it does a
regulator disable which again raises a card insertion interrupt.
This happens in a loop causing infinite MMC interrupts.

Nishanth Menon 5005296e74 ARM: dts: am57xx-beagle-x15: Update Phy supplies
Originally, all the SoC PHY rails were supplied by LDO3. However, as a
result of characterization, it was determined that this posed a risk in
extreme load conditions. Hence the PHY rails are split between two
different LDOs. Update the related node as a result

LDO3/VDDA_1V8_PHYA supplies vdda_usb1, vdda_usb2, vdda_sata, vdda_usb3
LDO4/VDDA_1V8_PHYB supplies vdda_pcie1, vdda_pcie0, vdda_hdmi, vdda_pcie

NOTE: We break compatibility with pre-production boards with this change
since, the PMIC LDO4 is disabled at OTP level.

The new configuration is the plan of record and all pre-production
boards are supposed to be replaced with the latest boards matching the
mentioned configuration.

Some very few 10 something boards have been created and
stopped production till the latest modifications were done (PMIC USB
interrupt, LDO4 etc) - and all of those boards are now getting
scrapped.. If there are any (as per tracking information, there should
not be any), TI should be contacted to have them replaced.

With commit bc078316d8 ("ARM: dts: DRA7: Add node for RTC"), we now
have AM57xx RTC register itself as alias 0 even before DS1307 or TPS
rtc drivers are loaded up. However, since neither TPS, nor AM57xx RTC
are capable of being backedup by battery, we would like to maintain
the "primary" rtc as mcp79410 rtc device.

This also generates the following warnings in the bootlog highlighting
the issue:
[ 5.895445] rtc-ds1307 2-006f: /aliases ID 0 not available

[ 6.476285] palmas-rtc 48070000.i2c:tps659038@58:tps659038_rtc: /aliases ID 1 not available

Grygorii Strashko e7a7357341 ARM: dts: am57xx-beagle-x15: Fix IRQ type for mcp7941x
The interrupt polarity provided in devicetree is used to configure
the interrupt controller(ARM GIC), however, it seems that we have an
inverter at the GIC boundary inside AM57xx which inverts the signal
input from sys_irq external interrupt source.

Further, as per GIC distributor TRM,
http://infocenter.arm.com/help/topic/com.arm.doc.ddi0438d/BGBHIACJ.html#BABJFCFB
ARM GIC distributor does not support IRQ trigger type
IRQ_TYPE_LEVEL_LOW, and only rising or level high signals.

However, for some reason, the current configuration(which gets ignored
by GIC driver) functions on some platforms, however, on few platforms
results in infinite interrupts hogging the system down.

Switch over to rising edge for GIC configuration which is also aligned
with trigger point from the RTC chip and the internal inversion.

Nishanth Menon d723cfeafc ARM: dts: am57xx-beagle-x15: Add thermal map to include fan and tmp102
BeagleBoard-X15 has capability for a fan and has an onboard TMP102
temperature sensor as well. This allows us to create a new thermal
zone (called, un-imaginatively "board"), and allows us to use some
active cooling as temperatures start edge upward in the system by
creating a new alert temperature (emperically 50C) for cpu.

NOTE: Fan is NOT mounted by default on the platform, in such a case,
all we end up doing is switch on a regulator and leak very minimal
current.

Roger Quadros a7b0aa1932 ARM: dts: dra7x-evm: beagle-x15: Fix USB Peripheral
Now that we have EXTCON_USB_GPIO queued for v4.1, revert
commit addfcde7c4 ("ARM: dts: dra7x-evm: beagle-x15: Fix USB Host")

On these EVMs, the USB cable state has to be determined via the
ID pin tied to a GPIO line. We use the gpio-usb-extcon driver
to read the ID pin and the extcon framework to forward
the USB cable state information to the USB driver so the
controller can be configured in the right mode (host/peripheral).

Gets USB peripheral mode to work on this EVM.

Marc Zyngier 783d31863f irqchip: crossbar: Convert dra7 crossbar to stacked domains
Support for the TI crossbar used on the DRA7 family of chips
is implemented as an ugly hack on the side of the GIC.

Converting it to stacked domains makes it slightly more
palatable, as it results in a cleanup.

Unfortunately, as the DT bindings failed to acknowledge the
fact that this is actually yet another interrupt controller
(the third, actually), we have yet another breakage. Oh well.

Roger Quadros addfcde7c4 ARM: dts: dra7x-evm: beagle-x15: Fix USB Host
In commit 87517d26d8 ("ARM: dts: dra7-evm: Add extcon nodes for USB")
we enabled Extcon USB gpio to tackle the USB ID pin and get
peripheral mode to work.

But the extcon-gpio-usb driver [1] didn't make it into v4.0
and this makes the USB driver defer probe indefinitely breaking
USB Host functionality.

As a temporary fix we remove the extcon handle from the
USB controller and add it back when the extcon driver
merges in v4.1.

AM5728 is part of the Sitara product family whose additional details
will be available: http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/arm/overview.page

Technical Reference Manual for AM5728 is public domain at:
http://www.ti.com/lit/spruhz6

Just add basic support for the moment, the following updates are needed:
  i)	Ethernet - depends on SoC dts fixes
ii)	USB Client (USB2) - depends on GPIO extcon
ii)	HDMI - additional driver fixes pending
iii)	Audio - additional driver fixes pending

NOTE:
AM5728 Data Manual (SPRS915L - August 2014) section 4.1.1 states: "All
unused power supply balls must be supplied with the voltages specified
in the Section 5.2, Recommended Operating Conditions". This implies
that all unused voltage rails for AM5728 can never be switched off even
if the hardware blocks inside that voltage domain is unused. Switching
off these unused rails may result in stability issues on other domains
and increased leakage and power-on-hour impacts.
