Add a new field in the dpaa2_io structure to hold a backpointer to the
actual DPIO device.

At the moment, the dpio-driver allocates an MC portal at probe time and
frees it right after usage. The same thing happens on the remove path.
This behavior could lead to scenarios where an MC portal is available
for use at probing but not longer free on the remove path which could
lead to unproper unbind of resources.
Change the driver's behavior in such a way that an MC portal is
allocated at probe and kept until the DPIO device is removed. This will
ensure that at any time after a DPIO device was successfully probed, all
its dependencies will be met.

Invoke a DPIO reset command when a DPIO device is probed. This

The current implementation of the dpio driver uses a static next_cpu
variable to keep track of the index of the next cpu available. This
approach does not handle well unbinding and binding dpio devices in a
random order. For example, unbinding a dpio and then binding it again
with the driver, will generate the below error:
$ echo dpio.5 > /sys/bus/fsl-mc/drivers/fsl_mc_dpio/unbind
$ echo dpio.5 > /sys/bus/fsl-mc/drivers/fsl_mc_dpio/bind
[ 103.946380] fsl_mc_dpio dpio.5: probe failed. Number of DPIOs exceeds
NR_CPUS.
[ 103.955157] fsl_mc_dpio dpio.5: fsl_mc_driver_probe failed: -34
-bash: echo: write error: No such device
Fix this error by keeping a global cpumask of unused cpus that will be
updated at every dpaa2_dpio_[probe,remove].

Currently there are some issues with the ucc_of_parse_tdm function:
1, a possible null pointer dereference in ucc_of_parse_tdm,
detected by the semantic patch deref_null.cocci,
with the following warning:
drivers/soc/fsl/qe/qe_tdm.c:177:21-24: ERROR: pdev is NULL but dereferenced.
2, dev gets modified, so in any case that devm_iounmap() will fail
even when the new pdev is valid, because the iomap was done with a
different pdev.
3, there is no driver bind with the "fsl,t1040-qe-si" or
"fsl,t1040-qe-siram" device. So allocating resources using devm_*()
with these devices won't provide a cleanup path for these resources
when the caller fails.
This patch fixes them.

The most noteworthy SoC driver changes this time include:
- The TEE subsystem gains an in-kernel interface to access the TEE
from device drivers.
- The reset controller subsystem gains a driver for the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 845 Power Domain Controller.
- The Xilinx Zynq platform now has a firmware interface for its
platform management unit. This contains a firmware "ioctl" interface
that was a little controversial at first, but the version we merged
solved that by not exposing arbitrary firmware calls to user space.
- The Amlogic Meson platform gains a "canvas" driver that is used
for video processing and shared between different high-level drivers.
The rest is more of the usual, mostly related to SoC specific power
management support and core drivers in drivers/soc:
- Several Renesas SoCs (RZ/G1N, RZ/G2M, R-Car V3M, RZ/A2M) gain new
features related to power and reset control.
- The Mediatek mt8183 and mt6765 SoC platforms gain support for
their respective power management chips.
- A new driver for NXP i.MX8, which need a firmware interface for
power management.
- The SCPI firmware interface now contains support estimating power
usage of performance states
- The NVIDIA Tegra "pmc" driver gains a few new features, in particular
a pinctrl interface for configuring the pads.
- Lots of small changes for Qualcomm, in particular the "smem"
device driver.
- Some cleanups for the TI OMAP series related to their sysc
controller.
Additional cleanups and bugfixes in SoC specific drivers include the
Meson, Keystone, NXP, AT91, Sunxi, Actions, and Tegra platforms.

Notable changes:
- A large series to rewrite our SLB miss handling, replacing a lot of fairly
complicated asm with much fewer lines of C.
- Following on from that, we now maintain a cache of SLB entries for each
process and preload them on context switch. Leading to a 27% speedup for our
context switch benchmark on Power9.
- Improvements to our handling of SLB multi-hit errors. We now print more debug
information when they occur, and try to continue running by flushing the SLB
and reloading, rather than treating them as fatal.
- Enable THP migration on 64-bit Book3S machines (eg. Power7/8/9).
- Add support for physical memory up to 2PB in the linear mapping on 64-bit
Book3S. We only support up to 512TB as regular system memory, otherwise the
percpu allocator runs out of vmalloc space.
- Add stack protector support for 32 and 64-bit, with a per-task canary.
- Add support for PTRACE_SYSEMU and PTRACE_SYSEMU_SINGLESTEP.
- Support recognising "big cores" on Power9, where two SMT4 cores are presented
to us as a single SMT8 core.
- A large series to cleanup some of our ioremap handling and PTE flags.
- Add a driver for the PAPR SCM (storage class memory) interface, allowing
guests to operate on SCM devices (acked by Dan).
- Changes to our ftrace code to handle very large kernels, where we need to use
a trampoline to get to ftrace_caller().
Many other smaller enhancements and cleanups.

Add a couple of new APIs to check the probing status of qman and bman:
'int bman_is_probed()' and 'int qman_is_probed()'.
They return the following values.
* 1 if qman/bman were probed correctly
* 0 if qman/bman were not yet probed
* -1 if probing of qman/bman failed
Drivers that use qman/bman driver services are required to use these
APIs before calling any functions exported by qman or bman drivers
or otherwise they will crash the kernel.
The APIs will be used in the following couple of qbman portal patches
and later in the series in the dpaa1 ethernet driver.

Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which
makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license.
By default all files without license information are under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2.
Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0'
SPDX license identifier. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.
This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne.
How this work was done:
Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of
the use cases:
- file had no licensing information it it.
- file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it,
- file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information,
Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases
where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license
had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords.
The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to
a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the
output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX
tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne. Philippe prepared the
base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files.
The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files
assessed. Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner
results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s)
to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not
immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was:
- Files considered eligible had to be source code files.
- Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5
lines of source
- File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5
lines).
All documentation files were explicitly excluded.
The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license
identifiers to apply.
- when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was
considered to have no license information in it, and the top level
COPYING file license applied.
For non */uapi/* files that summary was:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|-------
GPL-2.0 11139
and resulted in the first patch in this series.
If that file was a */uapi/* path one, it was "GPL-2.0 WITH
Linux-syscall-note" otherwise it was "GPL-2.0". Results of that was:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|-------
GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 930
and resulted in the second patch in this series.
- if a file had some form of licensing information in it, and was one
of the */uapi/* ones, it was denoted with the Linux-syscall-note if
any GPL family license was found in the file or had no licensing in
it (per prior point). Results summary:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|------
GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 270
GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 169
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-2-Clause) 21
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 17
LGPL-2.1+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 15
GPL-1.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 14
((GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 5
LGPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 4
LGPL-2.1 WITH Linux-syscall-note 3
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR MIT) 3
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) AND MIT) 1
and that resulted in the third patch in this series.
- when the two scanners agreed on the detected license(s), that became
the concluded license(s).
- when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a
license but the other didn't, or they both detected different
licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred.
- In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file
resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and
which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics).
- When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was
confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
- If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier,
the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later
in time.
In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the
spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the
source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation
by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from
FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners
disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights. The
Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so
they are related.
Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets
for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the
files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks
in about 15000 files.
In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have
copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the
correct identifier.
Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual
inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch
version early this week with:
- a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected
license ids and scores
- reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+
files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct
- reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license
was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied
SPDX license was correct
This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction. This
worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the
different types of files to be modified.
These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg. Thomas wrote a script to
parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the
format that the file expected. This script was further refined by Greg
based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to
distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different
comment types.) Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to
generate the patches.

Pull more powerpc updates from Michael Ellerman:
"The change to the Linux page table geometry was delayed for more
testing with 16G pages, and there's the new CPU features stuff which
just needed one more polish before going in. Plus a few changes from
Scott which came in a bit late. And then various fixes, mostly minor.
Summary highlights:
- rework the Linux page table geometry to lower memory usage on
64-bit Book3S (IBM chips) using the Hash MMU.
- support for a new device tree binding for discovering CPU features
on future firmwares.
- Freescale updates from Scott:
"Includes a fix for a powerpc/next mm regression on 64e, a fix for
a kernel hang on 64e when using a debugger inside a relocated
kernel, a qman fix, and misc qe improvements."

In commit 461a6946b1 ("iommu: Remove pci.h include from
trace/events/iommu.h") that header shuffle uncovered an implicit
include in this driver, manifesting as:
CC drivers/soc/fsl/qbman/qman_portal.o
drivers/soc/fsl/qbman/qman_portal.c: In function 'qman_portal_probe':
drivers/soc/fsl/qbman/qman_portal.c:299:2: error: implicit declaration of function 'dma_set_mask'
drivers/soc/fsl/qbman/qman_portal.c:299:2: error: implicit declaration of function 'DMA_BIT_MASK'
if (dma_set_mask(dev, DMA_BIT_MASK(40))) {
^
on the corenet32_smp_defconfig (and 64 bit respectively.) The above
commit was singled out via git bisect.
The header it was implictly relying on getting was dma-mapping.h - so
we explicitly add it here.

Work for Congestion State Notifications (CSCN) and Message Ring (MR)
handling is handled via the workqueue mechanism. This requires the
driver to disable those IRQs before scheduling the work and re-enabling
it once the work is completed so that the interrupt doesn't continually
fire.

The QE_General4 workaround is only valid for the MPC832x and MPC836x
SoCs. The other SoCs that embed a QUICC engine are not affected by this
hardware bug and thus can use the computed divisors (this was
successfully tested on the T1040).
Similalry to what was done in commit 8ce795cb0c ("i2c: mpc: assign the
correct prescaler from SVR") in order to avoid changes in
the device tree nodes of the QE (with maybe a variant of the compatible
property), the PVR reg is read out to find out if the workaround must be
applied or not.

Because of integer computation rounding in u-boot (that sets the QE
brg-frequency DTS prop), the clk value is 99999999 Hz even though it is
100 MHz.
When setting brg clks that are exact divisors of 100 MHz, this small
differnce plays a role and can result in lower clks to be output (for
instance 20 MHz - divide by 5 - results in 16.666 MHz - divide by 6).
This patch fixes that by "forcing" the brg_clk to the nearest kHz when
the difference is below 2 integer rounding errors (i.e. 4).

We get the following warning with the driver is compiled in:
WARNING: modpost: Found 1 section mismatch(es).
To see full details build your kernel with:
'make CONFIG_DEBUG_SECTION_MISMATCH=y'
With CONFIG_DEBUG_SECTION_MISMATCH enabled, the details are reported:
WARNING: vmlinux.o(.text+0x55d014): Section mismatch in reference from the
function fsl_guts_probe() to the function
.init.text:of_flat_dt_get_machine_name()
The function fsl_guts_probe() references
the function __init of_flat_dt_get_machine_name().
This is often because fsl_guts_probe lacks a __init
annotation or the annotation of of_flat_dt_get_machine_name is wrong.
This patch fixes the issue by using the normal DT/OF API rather than
the of_flat_* one.

The global utilities block controls power management, I/O device
enabling, power-onreset(POR) configuration monitoring, alternate
function selection for multiplexed signals, and clock control.
This patch adds a driver to manage and access global utilities block.
Initially only reading SVR and registering soc device are supported.
Other guts accesses, such as reading RCW, should eventually be moved
into this driver as well.

The hardware descriptors have big endian (BE) format.
Provide proper endianness handling for the remaining
descriptor fields, to ensure they are correctly
accessed by non-BE CPUs too.

There are multiple occurences of both contextB and context_b
in different h/w descriptors, referring to the same descriptor
field known as "Context B". Stick with the "context_b" naming,
for obvious reasons including consistency (see also context_a).

Preventively mask every access to the 'fqid' h/w field,
since it is defined as a 24-bit field, for every h/w
descriptor. Add generic accessors for this field to
ensure correct access.

1. qm_mcc_querywq layout not used for now, so drop it;
2. queryfq, queryfq_np and alterfq are used only for accesses to
the 'fqid' field, so replace these with a generic 'fq' layout.
As a consequence, 'querycgr' turns into 'cgr' following the
same reasoning above and for consistent naming.

Replace dummy platform device hack with a reference to a portal's
platform device, in order to dma map the test frame for this
small unit test. The 2 qman symbols need to be exported because
this self test is a kernel module.

The qman portals are platform devices themselves, so they should
handle dma mappings. Creating a dummy platform device in order to
support dma mapping operations is not justified (and not portable).
Instead, do the mapping against the first portal that has been
initialised.

This function must only return the truth value of whether
two frame descriptors are different or not.
It does NOT have to compute some obscure difference between
fd fields and return it as an int, making sparse complain
about type conversions in the process.

Accessing the internal field "addr_lo" directly is not portable

qman_query_fq*() may return other error codes apart from
-ERANGE, in which cases the error handling done by the
resource cleanup callers would be wrong. The patch
fixes the handling of those cases, and cleans up related
code inside the resource cleanup & release handlers (i.e.
replace hardcoded fqid value with corresponding define).
