Probes fixes for v6.6-rc6.2:
- kprobe-events: Fix kprobe events to reject if the attached symbol is not unique name because it may not the function which the user want to attach to. (User can attach a probe to such symbol using the nearest unique symbol + offset.) - selftest: Add a testcase to ensure the kprobe event rejects non unique symbol correctly. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQFPBAABCgA5FiEEh7BulGwFlgAOi5DV2/sHvwUrPxsFAmUzdQobHG1hc2FtaS5o aXJhbWF0c3VAZ21haWwuY29tAAoJENv7B78FKz8bMNAH/inFWv8e+rMm8F5Po6ZI CmBxuZbxy2l+KfYDjXqSHu7TLKngVd6Bhdb5H2K7fgdwiZxrS0i6qvdppo+Cxgop Yod06peDTM80IKavioCcOJOwLPGXXpZkMlK5fdC48HN6vrf9km4vws5ZAagfc1ng YhnYm1HHeXcIYwtLkE2dCr6HkwkaOebWTLdZ8c70d1OPw0L9rzxH+edjhKCq8uIw 6WUg9ERxJYPUuCkQxOxVJrTdzNMRXsgf28FHc0LyYRm8kDpECT2BP6e/Y+TBbsX5 2pN5cUY5qfI6t3Pc1HDs2KX8ui2QCmj0mCvT0VixhdjThdHpRf0VjIFFAANf3LNO XVA= =O1Aa -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'probes-fixes-v6.6-rc6.2' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/trace/linux-trace Pull probes fixes from Masami Hiramatsu: - kprobe-events: Fix kprobe events to reject if the attached symbol is not unique name because it may not the function which the user want to attach to.
